Sea Wolf #5

Shark Africa

SEA WOLF ON THE ATTACK! Alone in the waters of the Mediterranean, the deadly shape of U-55 prowls in search of prey. Its to provide support for Rommel’s campaign in a series of ruthless and lethal attacks. For Baldur Wolz — the man they called Sea Wolf — it offered the greatest challenge he’d had to face in the war. But the one thing he wasn’t prepared for was engine trouble at the moment when a British destroyer was moving in for the kill. And as the minutes between life and death ticked by, the horrors of war became a terrifying reality to the men trapped inside a steel shell … The fifth in the gripping series of novels about the U-boat war waged with grim ferocity in the bitter depths of the world’s oceans. Bruno Krauss was a pen name used by Kenneth Bulmer (1921-2005). A prolific writer, Bulmer wrote over 160 novels and many short stories, both under his real name and various pen names. Series started out as little more than pulp war fiction. Each book the stories have gotten better. A pity that, as there is only one book left.

Good Story!

This story is during what the U boat crews called "The Happy Times." In another year the tides of war would start to change. Germany in spite of her technology couldn't keep up with the industrial might of the United States. By the time the war was over, the U boat arm of the Kriegsmarine would suffer incredible losses.
