Great swap for the Disney/Marvel 5-minute story books my kids tend to gravitate towards at the library. My daughter loves hearing of all of the Robertson family adventures. Once she learned the Robertsons are a real family, she now wants to join their family. 🤣

My Review:

There are so many stories I could write about our family. Stories to laugh with or cry about but none of them would be as good or as wholesome as Duck Commander Happy, Happy, Happy Stories for Kids and the stories that their family share in abundance.


These stories are beyond your average good luck stories each one is filled with just enough faith but not too much. Korie and her mom provided myself and my 8 year old son some good, quality bonding time over this read aloud.


We laughed when the family had a hiccup and we cried when things didnt go as planned. We even cheered John Luke on the family skiing trip.


This book and the stories were phenomenal and heartfelt to say the least. I can't wait to see what comes next for this beautiful family.

This is a really cute book for elementary children. We haven't watched any of Duck Dynasty, so don't have that connection or draw to the book, but you don't need it. Each of the stories is short, the perfect length for short attention span, and teaches a moral. Sometimes they teach etiquette, too! Each chapter has a longer story - great for reading aloud together - and then scripture, discussion questions, and thinking points. Finally, the end of each chapter is a summary of the story put into Biblical perspective. Each of the chapters / stories is based on a real-life event from the Duck Commander's family.

The book is great for reading out loud, most younger children do not take the time to read longer written books. However if you do have a child that will sit and read paragraph or longer pages this is going to be a great gift for them to devour on their own. It is filled with really nice moments that any age can connect with and enjoy. I think that the combined actual true stories are going to make children laugh while learning.
