Sandy and her parents are opening a vintage clothing shop in Idaho Falls on her seventeenth birthday. Her parents sell clothes from the 1950s, and their house is decorated that way, too. Her bedroom walls are covered with vintage movie posters from that era. Is that why she gets carried away and starts to dream about a beau dressed in 1950s clothes driving a motorcycle? He only visits her at night in her dreams. It gets so intense that Sandy longs to go to bed just to go on a date. Other boys seem dull by comparison, and even her best friend can’t get her to go out anymore.

One morning when she gets up there is a cut on her neck. It gets worse as the days go by. Has she injured herself? Has some animals gotten through her open windows at night? Sandy had better figure out what is going on and why her dreams are so compelling before she gets lost in them and never wakes up again.

Vampire romances aren't usually my preferred genre, but I found this story to be an enticing read. The plot had numerous twists and turns that kept me guessing and wondering about the final resolution. Creatively written, I would definitely recommend this to any fan of supernatural romance or anyone simply looking for something different to sink their teeth into.

Sandy's a seventeen year old girl on her way to Idaho Falls for the opening of her parents' new shop - a unique boutique that specializes in 1950's memorabilia and clothing. Heading out with friends, she begins to realize that she's being followed by some curious dark figures in a black limousine. Soon, she finds herself threatened by a group of goth-looking biker girls and discovers that they're not just trying to harass her but that they actually want her dead. The question is why?
Everything gradually comes together as she finds that the hotel room where she'll be staying is identical to the room she's been visiting in a dream she's been having since she was a child, and that Rolf, the handsome stranger who whispers to her through her window, bears a stunning resemblance to the boyfriend she also knows from this dream.
But as the motorcycle gang gets increasingly threatening and people start to die, Sandy must figure out not only if she and Rolf have a future together, but if she might be turning into the very thing she has started to hate.
A riveting tale of young romance with a wonderfully happy ending!
