Jaide Fox has always had a passion for fantasy and the paranormal, having discovered both at a young age and devouring every book she could get her hands on, watching every movie that even hinted at her interests. It wasn't until she was in high school that her mother introduced her to romance--and she was hopelessly hooked.

Eroticism has never really been a part of fantasy, nor romance, and Jaide craved to see the two combined. Not able to find anything on the current market, she decided she'd write her own books to satisfy herself.

Jaide hopes readers will enjoy her first offering from NCP. She has many more novels planned and is currently breathing life into other adventures.

She lives in the middle of nowhere in a swamp, surrounded by all sorts of wild creatures (including snakes and spiders--which she gets rid of on sight!) and one mottled black cat who ambushes her from time to time.

This is my review and how I see it. I was provided an advance review copy of this book by Jadie Fox. I love reading paranormal books, my favorites are the shifter-human books. This one did not disappoint. Donal Arrturus has been sent out of a mission by the wolves's Alpha, however going days without food and not coming across any for the hut. Donal is waylaid by Sapphire Edenwatch, while trying to steal her hunt to fill his hunger.

Sapphire believes that she has killed a bear who was going after her food, is surprised when that bear turns into a man. Her uncle told her about things such as this. Sapphire brings Donal back to her village and a strange occurrence happens which the village believe Donal being there and Sapphire bring him as awoke the hunger in thier god.

An interesting tale spun by Ms. Fox for which humans live in a world where stories are spun for children and shifters believing no more humans remain. Donal and Sapphire find love and new life that thier unique encounter made. Sapphire found a place of acceptance and Donal the loner found love.

Very nice

A nice edition to the mating heat series. I love the fast pace start of the book and the ending was very sweet.
