Prayerful and heartwarming and funny

Good devotional for older and even not so old Christians. A good story or point of interest followed by scriptural reference and prayer.

Growing Older is challenging

The Author made me smile, chuckle, laugh out loud and shed tears as I read the devotions. Aging is wonderful in many ways, yet challenging as well. Society seems to forget the mature population, hearing friends often remark of feeling invisible. The Author painted a positive and uplifting picture with shades of reality we face daily regarding aging, therefore I rated this book with 5 stars. The Author brought the scripture passage Isaiah 46:4 clearly to mind as I read this book. I certainly recommend this book to all the older but bolder reader out there, a light but meaningful read.

Devotionals for the Older Crowd

This was a wonderful collection of devotionals for "older adults". Mrs. Van Liere delves into subjects pertinent to us as we age: the aches & pains, loss of friends, getting ready for our own death.

Well written, often humorous, a great book for anyone who is feeling the effects of age & how to deal with those with God's guidance.

Can make the ordinary an opportunity for prayerful thought. Well done. It is more appropriate for older readers I suspect.

I have this on my Kindle and hope to revisit it frequently.
