The story was ok so far, whether the gritty art style is truly fitting we'll have to see. However there are two questions that have been bothering me with comics for some time:
1) Was Amanda ever show with magic that actually looks holy and good?
2) Why do writers have dialogue that clearly shows that characters cannot recognize voices?
So far the story about the sprinter realms in chaos due to some new threat is intriguing. However the artwork sometimes switches to a more painting like style and that one is not very good at showing what is described.

didn’t like the art style but this was good. had to stop at the first issue cus i didn’t like half of the second but magik is still mother🫶🏾
