Outside, dense fog covers everything like a filthy veil. Inside, she's held captive, windows barred, doors locked. She doesn't know if the man who holds her is crazy or just a damn good liar. Either way, nothing he says makes sense. And the longer she's locked inside, the more she knows she has to escape.
C. L. Marks is an author of fiction with absolutely no concept of genre loyalty. Her scope ranges from fantasy to romance with a dash of everything in between (though her heart lies very much so in fantasy). Her style is gritty and dark and you'll probably never catch your mother reading anything she's written.
Her forthcoming novel, The Bad Ones, is expected to be released by early 2024. In the meantime, she dabbles in short stories, screenwriting, drinking too much tea (or maybe not enough), and scribbling her dreams into bedside notebooks.
C. is staunchly House Stark and, on most days, a Hufflepuff.
