I guess I was in a bad mood when I read this book but I found the author's writing very pretentious. So many moody photos, some not even showing the knit project—122 pages for, seriously, six patterns. I do like half of the pieces, though not enough to do them, nor enough to buy this book. (Thanks public library.) Patterns are a shawl, cardigan, scarf, hat, mittens, and a pullover.

Beautiful knitting pattern collection. This book includes some more rustic/masculine styled knits, great for cabin wear. So much inspiration here, and I love the dramatic photography.
