Raised in Northport, Washington, Linda pursued her wanderlust, living in London and Arizona and traveling the world before returning to the state of her birth to settle down on a spacious property outside Spokane.
Linda traces the birth of her writing career to the day when a Northport teacher told her that the stories she was writing were good, that she just might have a future in writing. Dedicated to helping others, “The First Lady of the West” personally financed fifteen years of her Linda Lael Miller Scholarships for Women, which she awarded to women 25 years and older who were seeking to improve their lot in life through education. Read all three back to back.
Nice for a rainy afternoon. This is an older series with enough drama and interaction between the 3 to keep your interest from one to another. While they can be read as stand alone, it was more fun reading them back to back.
Very typical of the author’s style: tastefully written adult interaction, fully developed main, as well as some of the secondary characters, with a good solid story line.
No downside if you enjoy these kind of stories.

I loved all 3 books! Parable reminds me of my hometown on so many levels. Linda is an incredible writer . Her characters are very well written, especially Opal! I can totally picture her and wished I could have someone in my life just like her!
