As far as devotionals and Bible studies go, this one was definitely not for me. I am okay with using different translations of the Bible but as a writer, she should at least tell us what version she is using. Additionally, she included a lot of word-for-word fill ins and questions so if you weren't using her version, you feel as though you missed something or couldn't answer the questions at all.

Additionally, the quotes that she uses sometimes contradict themselves or her own words. And while there is an amount of subjectivity one can expect from any Bible study, there were quite a few things stated that do not line up directly with the Word of God which upset me.

Of course, I can see the usefulness of this devotional and understand that for many it can be quite helpful. I just don't think it was right for me. One sad fact of most "Women-centered" devotionals is that it talks about marriage and being a mom and I don't fit in either of those categories so the questions and topics concerning them kind of annoyed me after a while.

This is a wonderful study that will totally transform how you react to your everyday life. I feel like I gained so much from this study which is full of Biblical truths. I haven't finished the study yet but so far I have been very impressed.

This is a seven day study, which is unusual as most studies are five days. However, Angela points out the reasons why we can do a seven day study and I found I agree with her.

This study is based on the word LOVE and how it can transform us. It comes down to the fact that God is love and that HE transforms us. She emphasizes that we aren't strong or capable ourselves but God can make us so.

This is really an excellent study and I love all the space to write! A lot of times the authors don't take into account that we need room to write what we've learned and I love that there is definitely enough space. I highly recommend this study and I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

I've probably done a 100 Bible studies with women and in small groups. This is, hands down, one of my favorites. Deep in the Word and deep soul searching. I like to THINK and this study challenged my status quo. I loved Angela's calm delivery on the accompanying videos and her cute southern twang.

I thought the videos were just okay and not terribly clear or helpful. The written study itself is excellent, very Biblically-based and extremely practical for reinforcing the truth of God's Word about living as redeemed people.

The pairing of the Psalms and the daily prayer writing was exactly what I needed to connect on a deeper level with the One who Redeemed me. The prayer journal will be something I continue on my own.
