Stella has had bad luck with men, and bad luck meant failure in all ventures of a relationship. After getting a divorce only two years into her marriage she ditches her stale life for a change of scenery. Her job transfers her to a high-profile vacation town where she can settle into her new life with luxury. This luxury also happens to include Carter, a mysterious, blue eyed, black haired man that moves into her apartment building two months after her. Stella has never been interested in any of her past boyfriends or her ex-husband the way she is with Carter. They were just to pass the time and cure her loneliness, but not this man. It also helps that he’s a wolf shifter and she’s his mate.
THIS BOOK IS INTENDED FOR MATURE AUDIENCE 18+ ABOVE
Stella needed something, anything to get her out of this humdrum dull life. On vacation, she did absolutely nothing. Then she met her new neighbor Carter, and things seemed to be looking up. But Carter has a secret, and Stella just happens to be a part of the plan.
Stella was a riot, I liked her right off the bat. Quirky, able to eat a box of pizza in a single setting, talks to herself AND the TV? And her family. They made a great secondary cast, especially Hailey.
And Carter, sigh. Carter was just plain gorgeous inside and out. I especially like his attitude toward Stella. Never forceful like other Alphas, but willing to help her along.
The freak out on revelation was hilarious! And Stella's seduction plan? Girl really needed some practice. I loved the last few pages. So not what I was expecting.
My friend Noah introduced me to the reading of this new author and though I got an ARC copy to review for an honest review, I ended up one-clicking.
The story’s premise seemed interesting, which was why I picked up this story, but as I read, there were a lot of passages of time without separation between paragraphs to indicate there had been a passage of time, which grew to be extremely confusing. After the third location and time change without any indication of such had occurred, I finally put the book down, unable to finish it.
Stella 32 and divorced. She wants a.happy marriage and family like her sister has. Carter is a wolf shifter and she is his mate. Rely a fun novella to read

Stella is very carefree and does not want to be changed in big ways. She complains men she dated tried to have her stop doing certain things, like signing and dancing in public. She also never connected deeply with anyone. The title throws me off a bit with "Foreign." I would have liked the reveal scene with Carter, Stella, Hailey, and Nathan to be a bit more involved. I felt something missing from that scene. I know everyone was freaked out, but there was no big explanation and no questions. I do hope we get to read more about Caleb and Kayla.

This is the first book I have read from Jessica Moore. I loved the book. Wish it was longer but l loved it all the same. You have Stella who hasn't had the best time with relationships and you have Carter who is a shifter. Carter wants Stella but she doesn't know how she should feel. Every other relationship left her feeling with no spark. Will Carter be able to make her feel a spark? Will they get together? Read and find out. Really really hated the writing style. One chapter rolled into another. Went from one speaker to another again, without a line break to separate. Can't say I'll read more.
This was a really good read. All though have the wolf refer to his mate as his lover instead of as his mate was new. I highly recommend this story to others.
