Warlock: A Nephilim's Wrath
Shawn managed to eke out his first couple of weeks with a lot of luck, and help from the various powerful women in his life. He’s looking forward to taking it a bit easier now that the initial excitement has died down. No one even seems to want him dead right now. He wants to study magic, and perhaps create some new magic, although it could be many years before that can happen.
His life is about to get, if possible, even more complicated than last time. A warlock shows up to try and take his place in the city. Darren is determined to take advantage of the crisis to put a spy in his house, and of course it’s a sexy cat shifter which he can’t say no to. Karen is having problems getting the mages in line. One of his pacts runs into a serious snag, and he’s coming to realize he’s deeply in love with a demoness that owns his very soul. What’s a warlock to do?

I continue to enjoy this series. The relationships are really getting over the top though. Women keep falling in love with him simply because he isn't an asshole to them. Makes me question how every other person in this world could be an asshole. Also, with each new woman the sex keeps getting more intense. How can it get more intense than when he is with a succubus? Over-the-top, Yes. Still super fun, yes.

Fun
I'm not saying the characters aren't sufficiently nuanced...I'm not saying the plot doesn't flow well...I'm not saying that pacing is imbalanced...mostly because all those things would be untrue...but still I'm not saying those things

This book deserves a five
I don't often do that, give 5 stars but this one kicked ass. I thoroughly enjoyed Shawn's ability to out think a situation. The different creatures merely left me full of envy.

More Good Stuff
D. R. Rosier has a winner; our hero Shawn Moore has a good gig! The story has a good lead character and interesting supporting characters; hopefully the supporting characters will continue to develop. Again, a lot of sex in this installment, but the story carries the book. Book three has been purchased.

What a fun read!
I truly enjoy this series. Shawn has more women then he knows what to do with but that's okay because they can take care of themselves. I can't wait to see if the Fae B gets what's coming to her in the future. Highly recommend this book. Warning lots of sex!

While the strong sexual content might not be for everyone, I genuinely like the story as well its a pretty good urban fantasy with a pretty cool magic system and magical community*cough* not that I dont like the sex too :)
