Kwenya is out for blood and won't stop until he finds out what happened to, Ashanta. Rakita has plans of her own, she knows that without Ashanta in the picture, she can get Kwenya back into her life. Will her plan work or is it too late? Desi has plans of her own, to expose those who crossed her. She comes up with a plan that might cost her, her life. After Bishop finds out the truth, will it be too late to rekindle the love between him and Desi? The plot thickens, in the second installment. As only the strongest survive and the weak are exposed. Who will come out on top? Only way to find out is to join the crew and to see who is real in this urban tale of deceit, heartbreak and revenge.

only neg.... it took me around 30% before faces started to match up from the first books. That is the only thing I hate about these "to be continued"... I forget what folks look like ... grrrr

I hope Yolo knows what's up, Jesse just made me dislike her ass cause she's a snake in the grass and for somebody who really wants to know her daughter she have a hell of a way to show it. I'm really rooting for Desi and Bishop because they make a good couple, they compliment each other. They both did wrong so I hope they work it out and Ro with this stalker business need to get a life. Can't wait for part 3

I wanted to really like this one but it just seemed forced from the beginning. The way she ran off then met up with Jesse for that stupid plan was a mess. The point behind Jesse even coming into anything just for her to flip the script took away from the read. Then having him tied up, not sure if it was a year or fifteen but either way it was just dumb.

I thought Mondo was his brother but I’m not sure because her entire involvement was off. It was wrapped up in the end but how it all went down was just so forced it was over the top. Not sure about reading the next one because it seems like the way Chaos is going about things his situation won’t last long.

To many pieces in a puzzle that has different shapes and sizes. Everybody has a mask, hidden secrets and agendas. I love reading Natavia books. I laughed, cried, got happy and sad. Never a dull moment and the plot just thickens with each new book.

Almost rated it a 2 but certain characters kept this book floating.

It gets to a point.

Like yes this author has a way of making everybody being connected to each other flows but honestly after a while, coincidences runs out. Ain’t no way all these people are connected.

First off I was 60 percent deep into the book when Ashanta & Kwenya finally meets back up, cringe.

The fake death plot, cringe.

The Ashantas, Chasity, Rakita & Chasity cousin whole arc / revenge plot was cringe. (Rakita being ex fed wasn’t even believable)
It felt like I was reading a whole other book within the book because it didn’t flow well. The whole Katrice character very cringe.

That fake bakery scene with Kwenya thinking he did that to his mom? CRINGE. It was not needed at all.

Ashanta changing over night wasnt believable. She spent like 3 days in Mexico. When she had time to learn anything from Jesse fr?

Desi was really becoming one of my favs ughhh im so mad she did that to Bishop. I’m tired of their back & forth honestly. He shouldn’t take her back after that.

Ree Ree is honestly main character energy. She needs her own book. I be tuned in whenever she pops up and it’s rare from me to love another person storyline outside the main character. I’m mad at Jada ughh.

Now all of a sudden Ashanta this baddass?? Jesse suppose to be this scary rich queen pin but she gives regular degular the way these characters be talking to her. Her character doesn’t give at all.

Ok, so this is part 2 and there is more, way more drama than necessary.
Everybody got what they deserved and karma got them good. From Chasity who became crazy, to Damos who is no more to Rakita who is waiting her fate to Bernie who...well I am not going to spoiled this.
Poet, man you are so bad, such a snitch... I truly hope you can get away from this.
Jada, you deserved to have karma visit you and Desi, why, why would you do something like that.

I still enjoyed the characters in part 2. In my opinion ,I just felt as if the story was prolonged. Its also like the writing wasn't as good as the first part to me. It still had its little laughs and i was grateful for that. I was honestly going to stop reading about 75 percent in because i was loosing interest but i pushed amd red to the end.
