Vacuously ideated confirmation bias with no foundation, typical of right wing corporate-funded propaganda to manipulate their authoritarian, low information electorate. Propaganda techniques include but are not limited to conslusory statements, misstatements and omission of fact, black and white fallacies, ad hominem, othering, flipping/ projection, over-simplification of complex issues, confusion, and amplification. Better to educate yourself regarding ALL of these issues relying upon ethical fact-based journalism as liberals do, rather than relying upon hucksters who prey upon and perpetuate ignorance through fear and hate and misinformation. Ie, fossil fuels aren't "bad" - burning them is responsible for atmospheric carbon and anthropogenic climate change that most definitely affects our economy, agriculture, health and welfare, and security through storm events of increasing range, intensity, and frequency (with response and recovery at tax payers' expense), loss of agriculture and livestock, loss of habitat, deforestation through drought, invasive species, and fire, warming and acidification of oceans and great lakes, loss of Arctic ice, critical summer albedo, feeding cycle of oceanic warming (arctic amplification), broad fluctuations of the jet stream increasing local and regional climate impacts (polar plunges). The nexus between big industry-funded dis-information such as Koch-funded "tea parties" and deregulation should be obvious all Americans. I would suggest lining your trash with drivel like this, and pick up the New York Times. Turn off Roger Ailes' post-"Fairness Doctrine," Nixon-pitched GOP TV (Fox / Faux News) and turn on the major networks. It is about two decades too late to point out similarities between Rove's Playbook and Goebbels' Principles, but let's give it a try.

Ronald Reagan once said, "The trouble with our Liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that just isn't so.

What do Liberals know that just isn't so? Here's a small representative sample form Mark Davis' "Upside down: How the left turned right into wrong, truth into lies and good into bad."

* The Constitution requires a secular society
* Fossil Fuels are bad
* Birthright citizenship is in the Constitution
* Our schools don't have enough money
* America is a racist nation
* Mankind is fundamentally good, and
* Income inequality is a problem

With their dominance of the media and academia, the left has been very adept at sending these lies and half-truths flying around the world to receptive audiences. So much so, that I've no doubt that some of the slanders I've listed above seem plausible.

But the truth has finally gotten up and put on its pants, at least in Davis' tome. Using a healthy dose of logic and plain common sense Davis shatters these shibboleths, replacing them with truth and clarity. An entertaining and informative read.

Cogent issue-by-issue argument for the fact that Liberals are on the wrong side of every issue. Recommended reading of anyone who has any interest in the political issues of the day.

How the left has made people believe right is wrong, truth is lies, and the good is bad. An eye opening book of the times we live in.
