Eeh

Lots of misspelled words and a huge cliffhanger. There wasn't even a great story. No character development. Weeks were skipped. And it was an endless monologue.

This was not nearly as enjoyable as the first and left us with a cliffhanger. I intentionally read this before the 3rd was released, but from the description at the end of this, it sounds like the cliffhanger will not be resolved in the 3rd. I figured this was going to be at least 5 books all together but I am not particularly happy with the cliffhanger.

Come from immediately ready book 1, I was so excited to read on to book 2, but the story sucks you in but I was highly disappointed. The FMC was so weak and appears to ‘care’ about everyone but then gives herself over knowing the hurt she’s causing without regarding anyone but herself. She tells herself it’s for everyone else but it’s not it’s because she’s weak which isn’t want was described in book 1. I almost felt that her True Mate should’ve been someone else entirely he deserves better. With how great book 1 was to be let down at book 2 then to have seen a short story for Mazie. Just let downs everywhere you look.
Gave up reading the series for now maybe when I get board and I’m a reading slum I’ll think about going into book 3 but I highly doubt it. I gave his book 3 stars because the books themselves and story was okay, grammar issues, and using another language which wasn’t always interpreted is irritating.

I was predisposed to like this novel but ultimately couldn’t get into it. There doesn’t seem to be a plot and the pace was sluggish. Even half way through the novel, nothing has happened except some silly rivalry from queen bee and ridiculous resistance by Chloe to the bond with Falcon. Not buying Chloë’s resistance; there’s not enough contextual support for her emotional decision. I like Falcon, but his character has too much growling and not enough actual verbal interaction with Chloë to establish a relationship, regardless of the soulmate connection. The editing was poorly done. There are many distracting punctuation and grammar errors. So overall I did not like this book enough to force myself to finish, and there’s not enough to make me curious about how it ends.

Not as enjoyable as the last book.

Editing was apparently foregone in this book - tons of errors. I don’t recall that being an issue in the first book.

The whole story was drama drama drama. Classic female lead doing dumbass, “self-sacrificing” things for no good reason. Things that, realistically, are selfish as hell because they cause all sorts of problems and emotional turmoil for the people she’s “trying to protect”. Idiot.

I’m forced to read the next book because this one ended in so much unresolved conflict. However, I’m not looking forward to reading it if it’s going to be like this one. May just end up giving up on it.

Some flaws but overall

Entertaining story. Good characters. Good plot. Worth the read. Interesting peek into the next Potential. I'm enjoying this series. Still wondering what exactly a Potential is and why they are so rare.

almost there

I want to like it more but there’s so many grammatical and word errors, like it wasn’t read through and edited before it was published. The mistakes distract from the story and it falls short

I loved the first book but I didn't enjoy this book as much because of the editing issues. Sometimes I struggled to work out what the author was trying to say. Also, there is very little recap (which I prefer) so you have to read them in order your understand the characters.

This book focuses on the budding romance between Chloe and Falcon, the pack beta. Although Chloe would go out of her way to annoy Falcon in the first book, she is now somewhat distant after learning he is her mate. We do learn her reasoning why she feels she has to put a distance between them but equally, Falcon refuses to allow her to ignore him. Instead he chooses to give her the space she needs to come to terms with the situation whilst guarding her from a distance.

Despite them knowing that they are destined to be together, Chloe and Falcon have not completed their bond because of Chloe's desires to protect Falcon from the threat facing the mates of the Potentials. Cyrus makes an appearance and we learn that he may not be the head honcho as he has led Chloe and Aribelle to believe so it's a case of anything can happen.

I hope the next book is longer and doesn't take too long but the editing issues really need to be addressed. Also, some warning as to whether it ends on a cliffhanger would be nice as well.

I really like how the drama picked up w/ Chloe in this 2nd book in the series. **spoiler** not a fan of her sacrificing herself to capture again but I honestly saw it coming. She has the personality where she needed to face her fears. I just wish she would have stayed w/ Fal. I can't wait to see where this goes in the next book and hopefully the wait isn't to long!

I really didn't enjoy the first book but Falcons character had intrigued me enough to give this a read. Chloe and Falcon were better characters in my opinion and even though it was another insta-love romance it wasn't as much of a cheese fest as the first book.

I loved this book and the series so far. I read to take my mind off of work and the stresses of life and this book took me away for a few hours. It may be a tad cliche but I am a sucker for a good romance!

Good story line but not much progress

I love the story and was excited to read book 2. I am disappointed as there were few new developments. This was a recap of previous book with little progress. However I will read the next book because I am still curious about the ending.

Good story bad spelling

Love the story and the characters but the spelling mistakes make it hard to sometimes understand the sentence. The first story was the same but nowhere as near bad as this one. Cam ant wait to read the next one though.

I thought each book would be on a different couple, but with the way this book ending I'm hoping that's not true. How can Chloe be so stupid? It was pretty irritating, but I'm looking forward to seeing what happens.

Cliffhanger

I am not a fan of cliffhangers but this one kind of fits. It leaves off in a great place to make sure you pick up the next one. Can't wait to read it.
