Nathan Blackmore was stunned when Bella walked out of his life 6 months ago. She is the only woman he has ever loved and she just walked away.
Now she's back and the pull between the two is still magnetic. Can he break down her walls and let her see she can trust him with all her secrets, no matter how big they are.
I loved Nathan and Bella. They were super hot and sweet together. Such a great story.
Nathan Blackmore is a racer, hot domineering, sexy and all Alpha male, did I mention sexy, well yes he's all that.
Bella is a girl who in order to escape her past first has to face it.
I haven't read the first book and although this can be read as a standalone, I felt parts were missing, parts of Bella's past and that no doubt will probably within the first book of the series with Bella's friend Frankie and Alex Blackmore, which I intend to read too.
The first part of this book is like a confessional road trip where both Bella and Nathan reveal all as they take a 7 day journey to get Bella away from her ex who is apart of the Mafia while Nathans brothers track him down with their team.
After being 6 months apart both nathan and Bella have catching up to do and truths to be told.
Inevitable is a hot read and Nathan is the dominant alpha dirty mouthed male that would make any girl quiver.
With every woman after Nathan not only is Bella battling her past but her Jealousy but this once manwhore is now a one woman man.
Told in dual pov's Inevitable is a quality hot read with seriousness, humour and danger, the whole book is well balanced and it has you wanting more with the great characters and intensity of the men.
My first book by this author and definitely not my last, Inevitable is all I could want in a contemporary romance read and more with action, drama and hotness.
**Please note that this review may contain spoilers for the first book in the series, “Fated”…
“Know this, Bella, I know that part of me will always love you and the moment you can tell me the truth about what’s going on in your life and open up to me, I will be there for you. Just…… don’t leave it too f***ing late, darlin.”
Inevitable is the second book in the Fated Series by A.S Roberts. It is a wonderful, erotic, suspenseful contemporary romance. I loved the first book so much and I had very high expectations for this book. Ms. Roberts definitely didn’t disappoint me with this book; she has really outdone herself with this captivating story. I was enraptured by the story from the first page of the prologue, until the very last word. I read it in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. It is every bit as good as the first book, but with a tone and personality all its own. This book is part of the Fated series, and even though it could be read as a standalone, I really recommend that you read the first book ‘Fated’ first, as all the characters and some of the backstory is introduced in that first book. Not to mention that ‘Fated’ is such a wonderful story, why wouldn’t you want to immerse yourself in it as well. We met Arabella Carpenter (Bella) and Nathan Blackmore (Nate) in the first book. Bella is Frankie’s best friend; they have been close ever since they met back in high school. Nathan is Alex’s younger brother. Fated was Frankie and Alex’s story, but we got to learn a lot about Bella and Nate from that story, as well. Bella is blond, beautiful and feisty- she’s from England, but came to America when she was hired as an investigative journalist for The New York Times. Nathan is a bit of a celebrity, a gorgeous specimen of tattooed perfection, with a bad-boy/playboy reputation- he is also a highly successful Superbike racer. Bella and Nate meet when Frankie is hired as Nathan’s physiotherapist, to help him recuperate from a motorcycle accident. The have an immediate and powerful attraction that neither can resist. But because of a traumatic experience in Bella’s past, she is unable to fully commit herself to anyone. Preferring instead to have a ‘friends-with-benefits’ arrangement with Nathan. This arrangement works fine until they both develop feelings. Nathan is willing to take their relationship to the next level, but Bella knows she can never fully commit to anyone until she can put her past behind her.
“In order to take control of my life in the future, I needed to confront my past. Hiding and running away just wasn’t working for me anymore. Nathan was always in the media spotlight, he certainly didn’t need my sordid past invading his life.”
She makes an incredibly hard decision and breaks up with Nathan, and returns to England to deal with her past. Nathan is understandably devastated; he takes the breakup hard and ‘shuts down’ a part of himself in order to survive. He begins to spiral into destructive habits and distances himself from his family and friends. Jump forward 6 months and Bella has returned to America for Frankie and Alex’s wedding in the Hamptons. She is excited for her friend and also a little apprehensive about seeing Nathan again. She managed to confront her past and laid it to rest, hopefully once and for all. Bella hopes that Nathan would be willing to rekindle their relationship and see where it leads. But she is unprepared for the change in him that has occurred since their breakup.
“How could 6 months make such a difference? The young carefree man she had once known was no longer there…”
But we soon learn that his animosity towards her is the least of her problems, as danger has followed her from England all the way to America, and is hell bent on revenge. The danger won’t be exclusively hers, as all her loved ones now have targets on their backs as well. This predicament she finds herself in then leads to a mad cross-country dash in an effort to stay one step ahead of her hunters. Will Nathan help her evade the hunters and keep her safe, or will the pain she inflicted on him cause him to push her away? Who are the hunters and what exactly happened in the past, to place her in such grave danger now? So much happens in this story; you really need to read it to appreciate just how good it is! Ms. Roberts writes so beautifully- she has a real talent for getting her story and characters to really connect with the reader, pulling them in and captivating them with her words. The energy and tension she is able to create in her stories, and between the characters, is truly masterful. I can’t imagine anyone reading her stories and not enjoying every word. The characters are really well written, full developed and endearingly wonderful. I loved everything about them, even their flaws. I also felt for them, my heart ached hearing their back stories and I couldn’t help but admire them for the strength it took to move forward. This book has a great pace, there isn’t a dull moment to be found anywhere- it flows smoothly and is a joy to read. But be prepared for a book binge, as you won’t want to put it down! As I have said with the last book, I have begun a love affair with Ms. Roberts’ work and I really love everything I have read of hers. The next book in this series sounds particularly intriguing and I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
5 star review Inevitable is the amazing second book in the Fated Series by A.S Roberts! Just when I thought having read the first book I had found my new book boyfriend in Alex – in comes his younger brother Nathan in this book to try and steal that spot from him! I liked Nathan from the first story but I LOVED him in this one! I definitely recommend that book 1 is read prior to reading this one; even though the first book isn’t about the same main characters there is some of their back story in it that will enable you to fully understand this one. The one thing I loved about this book was that it was completely different from book 1, we still saw the same characters from the first book albeit that this was Nathan and Bella’s story so they were front and centre but the storyline was different and had some great twists in it! Especially at the end! OMG I did not see that coming!! This is the author’s second book and I think it’s fair to see we do see some improvement in story flow with this one, but I still loved book 1! This author is definitely one to watch and this series is shaping up to be a 5 star one for me! There are still some great secondary characters in John and Nathans twin brother Scotty that I would love to read about! Back to this story! We pick up around 6 months after the end of Fated where we see Bella leaving for the UK to sort out something from her past. Her and Nathan have gone their separate ways. Once Bella left Nathan, he vowed never to look back and to never love again. Bella is back, with a secret, but once they come face to face it doesn’t take long for old feelings to start resurfacing. With Bella’s secret coming back to haunt her and putting her life in danger there is only one person she can trust, and unfortunately he no longer trusts her. Bella – her character intrigued me in book 1 – there were lots of hints about her past life that we didn’t get to find out about so when we finally did in this story it was not what I was expecting! I loved her though! She was feisty but at the same time completely vulnerable and ashamed of what had happened in her past. She kept pushing Nathan away and I can now see why and it wasn’t because she didn’t love him – she really was just trying to protect him! Oh Nathan! I still can't decide if he has overtaken his brother Alex for my new book boyfriend but I know if he kept calling me darling I probably would be held responsible for my actions! He is totally adorable and incredibly sexy!! He was quite stubborn at times but he really did love Bella and he was fiercely protective of her that we see especially towards the end of the story! It is safe to say that I loved this story just as much as the first one and I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next! I know I have definitely found a new series that I will be reading more than once!
VERY HOT, SWEET, YET TOUGH AND EMOTIONAL!! A MUST READ!! Inevitable is the second book in the Fated Series and can be read as a stand-alone. This emotional story has two very different characters trying to find their way back to each other and sorting out their pasts to find trust again. Bella has a secret that not only can destroy her but has destroyed the love between her and the only man that has her heart. She can’t tell him about what happened to her all those years ago, when she was a defiant teenage girl who thought the man she was with was all she needed. That is what he ingrained into her before she separated herself from everyone that loved her. He took her away to his native country, telling her they would marry. Soon she found out it was all a lie. She had to escape and go home, but would they take her back and would apologies be enough? Nathan is a lost soul, he has been through a lot as a child along with his siblings. His step-father was a mean and miserable person that made sure the family was too. Except in public. He had also taught Nathan about some erotic behavior that has left him feeling guilty for things he had no control over. Now Nathan is famous in the racing circuit. People know who he is and recognize him when he is anywhere, the women fall at his feet. No one has ever flipped his feeling switch on like Bella does the first night he meets her. He needs her, but knows she is holding back. He wants her to tell him and share her secret but she can’t and it destroys them. Now she leaves because she can’t move forward with Nathan until she resolves things from her past. But will it be too Late? Can Nathan and his brothers keep her safe when the past rears its ugly head? Can Bella open up and repair the damage she has caused Nathan? Will they have a future or will her past kill them? Inevitable is a very good read and took me on a journey of rediscovery and the search for trust. There is a little of everything in this book and that is what makes it such a fantastic read! In my opinion A.S. Roberts is now on my list of favorite authors! I can’t wait for the third book.
Inevitable (Fated series (can be read as a standalone) Book 2) By: A.S. Roberts 5 out of 5 stars
The story Inevitable (Fated series (can be read as a standalone) Book 2) by A.S. Roberts is a contemporary romance. She walked away from him six months ago. He was devastated. Can they find their way back to each other? That is the question to be answered in the second book in the Fated series. Although you can read this as a standalone I would highly recommend reading the first book, Fated. The characters overlap in each story and I found the books transitioned very smoothly from one to another. This is the story of Nathan Blackmore and Bella Carpenter. Bella walked away from Nathan because she has a secret in her past and doesn’t want him to have to deal with her issues. She believes that this is the best course of action at the time. I found Bella a very strong woman for all she has gone through. Bella seems to take on the full weight of the situation she is in and is not comfortable talking about it or letting anyone else in on her pain. She learns to lean on others for help.
Nathan Blackmore is the ultimate bad boy and adrenaline junkie. He is always pushing the limits in whatever he does. This is especially true after he lost Bella. His whole outlook on life changed that day. He tries to push his pain away, however, can’t seem to get Bella out of his head. Nathan is an alpha male and protector. He is still in love with Bella and would do anything to protect her. He wants her to trust him enough to confide in him the reason that she left. The sexual tension between these two is intense. Their red-hot love scenes will have you reaching for a glass of ice water. This is a story of how two people try to find their way back to each other. Read on to find out if they have their HEA! This book does have adult language and situations. It would be recommended for those 18 years or older.
Inevitable by A.S. Roberts a sublime five-star read. This is the second book in the Fated series, and it’s a great second book, this series is so good, it has a main set of characters in each book, but seems to be centred around a group of friends and family. So, you get to see each story develop in the back round and keep up with characters. I did something rare with this book, I picked it up like one book after I finished the first book, I usually try to space authors out with a few books between so I don’t get to much of one way of writing, But A.S Roberts writes in such a fresh and captivating manner that I couldn’t help myself, and I plan on reading the third book very soon also. This book tells the story of Nathan Blackmore, Nate to his family and Morely to his one friend and Arabella Carpenter or Bella as she goes by now, we met them both in the first book, as brother and best friend of the main characters, they had their own story but we get to meet them properly and develop with them in this book, they become real people with flaws and history in this book. Nathan Blackmore had it all in the eyes of many people, he was a great super bike rider, good looking, top of his game, to the outside world he had everything he could need or want, maybe he did, but six months ago his life changed and he made the decision never to give his love again. Something he may come to regret. Six months ago, Bella had to leave the love of her life, to face her old demons, so she could be free to really fall in love. Bella needed to do this for herself, but will that decision come back to haunt her, as although she may love Nate can he forgive her the choice of leaving him? Will the secrets she hides ever be able to be revealed? I can’t sing the praises of this book high enough, go buy the series, its hot and heavy but also real, there is dark drama and enough intrigue to keep you hooked.
There is something about those Blackmore men that just sucks you in and gets you going. Inevitable takes over where Ms. Robert’s debut novel Fated left off. While Alex and Frankie are heading off for their HEA Bella and Nathan are adjusting to being separated by her past.
I fell in love with Nathan in Fated, he is the ultimate bad boy with a heart of gold. Nathan is a tattooed and pierced adrenaline junkie with a dirty mouth. He is not afraid to take what he wants, and to fiercely protect those he has let into his damaged heart. He wants Bella and is bound and determined to make her see that she is the one person who can make him put away his playboy ways and finally feel the love that has been lacking from his life since he was a boy. Bella is strong and loyal, almost to a fault. She is so worried about her past affecting those she loves she is willing to risk losing the love of her life. I absolutely love her strength, she has survived so much and did not become a broken, whiny girl who needs a man to rescue her. Nathan and Bella compliment and complete each other. As strong as they both are separately, they are so much stronger together.
Their story is filled with action, adventure, a bit of mystery and plenty of romance. Ms. Roberts included the right balance between hot and spicy, and sweet and sexy in this novel. I felt the whole gamut of emotions while reading Nathan and Bella’s stories develop. I laughed, cried was nervous and anxious for them, at times I found myself sitting on the edge of my seat wondering what will happen next. She has developed the story line in this series creating supporting characters who are just screaming for their voices to be heard. I cannot wait to see who will get their own novels in future installments in this series.
This is definitely another 5-star book from A. S. Roberts!
Sexy and steamy and had enough conflict to light any fire….
Nathan and Bella were in love. All in, completely devoted and happy. When Bella left, secrets and doubt became the order of the day and their reunion was anything but loving….
It was easy to get into this story with Nathan and Bella`s personalities and presence catching my full attention right away. When characters feel deeply, so deeply that the reader feels it, you know the story is going to be oh so good… You could feel the devastation on both sides and the hard scrabble it was to try and recover from all that had happened. I wanted, I needed, their second chance to be a no holds-barred, try everything, do everything attempt to get things back on track and it was. It was angry and happy, sad and hopeful, all things you have to work through to get to a better place…
I love when a story can surprise me and this one did with a climax/epilogue that had me glued to my kindle with knuckles clenched! My heart was fluttering a mile a minute and I wasn’t sure which direction it was going to go. Gawd, this had me guessing and flipping changes like I wanted to turn this into a flip-book! Hard to read while I`m cheering the author on – of course, hoping things went they way I wanted them to!
This was my first meeting of Nathan and Bella and I am so happy that there is more to discover. I understand Fated was their first introduction and it has to be in my near future. It just has to.
Bella and Nate's story continues.... in Fated (book one) I think I fell in love with these two more than the main characters in that book! I needed to know what Bella's secret was and boy, do we find out!
"Was it possible to love and hate someone at the same time?"
Bella and Nate have a lot of issues. They are their own worst enemies and their communication sucks. They can't stand that pull of each other, always finding their way back to the other in some way as fate would have it. They never lose their connection though, that spark. The sexual tension is through the roof and the angst is at an all time high.
“If you’re gonna come with me, Bella, you’d better throw your leg over and hold on for the ride.”
Imagine running from your past, a cross country road trip on a motorcycle for a week, with your (ex-ish) friend with benefits, sharing a bed in a hotel every night. I really admire Bella keeping her crap together because I would have freaked out a long time ago! She does have her moments, but Nate is good at reigning her in.
Bella and Nate slowly earn each other's trust, spilling secrets that have kept them apart all this time. I love the slow burn of their past, working their way up to their conclusions and the love making that signified they bared it all, laid it all out there to one another. Nate would do anything to keep Bella safe. He will slay her dragons and fight for her at all costs.
"I'm addicted to you darlin... I don't want anything else... just you."
Title: Inevitable Author: A.S. Roberts Series: Fated #2 (can standalone. Unsure of series' official name but this novel links in with FATED) Genre: erotic romance, second-chance, suspense Heat: 3/5 Plot: 3/5 Rating: 3/5
I really did have a lot of fun reading this book. The characters were enticing and the plot was strong and always interesting. Despite the majority of the novel being a sort of road trip, the secrets revealed throughout ensured that it was never boring, and the climax was nicely satisfying. The sex scenes were wonderfully erotic, and Nathan really had a fabulously filthy mouth on him. In fact, the plot and characters were so strong that it made up for the downsides pretty significantly. A.S. Roberts is still a new author, and this does show in her writing, which for me was a little clumsy and I had to re-read a few paragraphs now and again, feeling that I'd missed something. There were a few too many exclamation, question and ellipsis marks thrown in, along with some rather specific pop culture/brand references which were a little unnecessary and simply detracted from the plot. Also - no one says "bloody" quite that often (and I say this as a Limey myself). Roberts has a lot of potential here, and is definitely someone to keep an eye on.
This book is an emotional roller coaster from the first to the last word.
If you've read Fated, you'll know who Bella and Nathan are, if you've not read it, you are really missing out. Anyway I digress, I loved Nathan and Bella in Fated, until Bella broke Nathan's heart, then she swiftly made it to my s**t list, thankfully by the end of Inevitable she had redeemed herself.
So onto the story in question. Nathan is a typical Blackmore, alpha male to the nth degree. A man on a mission once Bella left him broken hearted, Nathan goes back to his old ways, ultimate control and pushing his boundaries, and he thinks he is doing okay...until Bella stumbles back into his life. When Bella left Nathan it was to take her life back. Terrorised by her past and scared to feel she does what she thinks is best to protect those around her. Bella is such a strong character, and although I was a little disappointed in her decisions in Fated, I still loved her.
This book had me laughing, crying and pulling my hair out in frustration. I loved the maturity Nathan eventually showed, and his determination to help Bella. Reading the scenes where Nathan and Bella relive their pasts is heartbreaking, and I did need tissues to hand.
Another huge positive for this book was the slow build up to the hot as hell bedroom scenes between these two, damn this author knows how to get you hot under the collar from the slightest touches
Inevitable starts with Bella leaving Nathan to sort out the loose ends of her life. She is an investigative journalist that has a traumatic past that needs to be put to rest so that she can move on with her life, hopefully with Nathan in it. Nathan is devastated when Bella leaves and ends up in self destruct mode. Fast forward 6 months and they are reunited at the wedding of Nathan's brother Alex and Bella's best friend Frankie. It certainly is anything but a heartfelt reunion. The tension and animosity is thick and Bella see's for the first time just how bad Nathan took the break up. He doesn't make her life easy at all. Bella's past comes back with life threatening consequences. There are lots of secrets unveiled from both parties, as Nathan tries to protect Bella from her past. They embark on a cross country motorcycle journey trying to keep ahead of trouble whilst learning more than ever about each other. Inevitable is a great story. I enjoyed it more and connected with it better than the first book Fated, where we first met Nathan and Bella. Actually I think I will go back and re-read Fated, give it another go, maybe it was just me at the time?? This is author A.S. Roberts second book. I personally thought the writing had improved on the first book Fated and I am eagerly waiting for the next instalment Irrevocable. I want to know all about Bella's sister and her new husband. Although these books are linked, they can be read as stand alones.
This is my first read from this Author. A.S. Roberts did a great job on this book. The story is well written. All though I haven't read book one Fated yet. I'll be reading the series backwards. Inevitable (Fated series book 2) can be read as a standalone. You meet Nathan Blackmore and Bella Carpenter in Fated book one. I can honestly say this story was an emotional roller coaster. There was so many different emotions in this book. I could not put this book down. This story kept me on the edge of my seat. Loved Nathan and Bella. Nathan's character is a strong, smart, sexy, dirty talking Alpha, and Bella is a strong, smart, feisty, and sweet woman. Nathan is definitely a book boyfriend you would want. Who wouldn't want a protective, obsessed, dirty talker, loyal, Alpha man. Nathan and Bella are perfect together. They have great chemistry. The sex scenes are Sizzling Hot. Nathan and Bella have gone through so much. This is a great story. Even though it was heartbreaking. You literally could feel the pain in your heart. I would have to say, this is the first book that literally brought me to tear. I have read books, that have made my tear up, but this one had waterworks happening. I definitely needed a box of tissues. I am looking forward to reading more of this series. I really enjoyed this story. I recommend this book. 5 Stars. Thank you, A.S. Roberts. Great work on this book :)
Book Review: Inevitable Author: A.S. Roberts FIVE STARS A.S. Roberts has done it again in Inevitable. Pulled us into the life of a Blackmore Brother. Nathan Blackmore, the adrenaline junkie motorcross racer, has his heart broken six months earlier by Bella Campbell. Now they are both in the Hamptons for Alex and Frankie's wedding and they are being thrown together. Six months, can Nathan forgive Bella? Has Bella waited too long to declare her love for him? Will things be ruined by a figure from her past that she thought she had managed to get rid of? Now on the run and trying to fight her feelings of fear and dread Bella has to prove to Nathan that she will never run from him again and that she does want to be with him. But how do that do that when she is being hunted? A.S. Roberts has written a gripping tale. Nathan and Bella. How far will they go and how fast can they get there to be with each other? Everything Bella has done in the last six months has been so that she can let go of her past and try to move forward with Nathan. Roberts has a way of drawing you in and making you feel like you are a part of the story. Rooting them on as they hide from the bad guys and the feelings of dread and fear that come over you when you find out what happens. At the end of this book A.S. Roberts hints at the next and I am so anxious to read the next. The saga will go on. I am a true fan.!! Kelli Harper
O.K. so first off, this is apparently book 2 in a series, but it did not matter at all as this was about a different couple. Inevitable is the story of English journalist Bella, and American super bike champion Nathan Blackmore. For lovers of book one: Fated, those characters do appear so you can see where they are at with their relationship.
Back to this book though. Bella is back in the states after a brutal breakup 6 months earlier that left both her and Nathan a little bit broken. Bella had her reasons though, and now she is back, Nathan wants to know what they were. When a serious threat from Bella’s past rears its ugly head, Nathan can do nothing else but help her… and hopefully win her back.
Now, I haven’t read book 1, but from what I’ve read here, I may just go back and do so. This was a well written, nicely paced story with some drama, a bit of action and plenty of sexy times; some of them sweet, some of them smoking hot.
I liked the characters, I liked the story, in fact the only thing that did bug me a little about this book was that she said bloody so bloody much haha. I’m English myself, and I personally don’t know anyone who uses it that much, although it did do a good job of pointing out her Britishness I guess, lol. I give Inevitable 4 stars.
Inevitable is my first A.S. Roberts book, but having read it I immediately purchased Fated, Frankie's book, so I could get her story.
I inhaled Inevitable. Nate & Bella have some undeniable chemistry, no matter what reasoning kept them apart there was never any doubt they were made for each other. Bella's a feisty chick, which I adore. She has secrets that could harm her family and friends and needs to put those demons to rest in order to move on with her life, a life Nate wanted with her. But she leaves him without much explanation. He sees she has things that haunt her and understands her need to rid herself of them but it breaks his heart watching her walk away. Bella is the only woman besides his mother he's ever loved. Now she's gone and taken his heart and common sense with her. He does what most men would do, turns into the king of one night stands. When Bella returns for his brothers wedding how will they handle seeing each other? With snark and denial of course!!
Inevitable is sexy, suspenseful and has so much testosterone it will drive you insane. Too much sexy is never a bad thing though and the brothers are simply protective alphas, wanting to keep everyone they care for safe, even if it ticks said people off at times. The story is well written and will hook you early on. Grab a drink and your comfy chair, your not going to want to put this one down!

Bella and Nathan's story!!! I loved Bella in Fated. She is the perfect best friend for Frankie and couldn't wait to hear her story. We were introduced to Nathan in Fated as well and that boy and his womanizing ways had me wanting to slap him (but in a good way). I knew these two had history and a past but didn't realize how much it affected who they had become. Inevitable tore me apart. I was so excited to get into this story and boy I wasn't disappointed.
Bella and Nathan share passion and chemistry that is beyond this world. She may just be the one that can make Nathan give up his playboy card. After not having Bella in his life he is determined to get her back at all costs. Bella has secrets that can put those she loves in danger. So if it means never having the love of her life in her life to protect him, she will do just that. Too bad Nathan has other plans.
A.S. Roberts does it again with Inevitable. There's suspense, passion, secrets and will keep you on the edge of your seat to find out what will happen next.
Inevitable can be read as a standalone but do yourself a favor and read Fated.
You will not be disappointed and are in for such a treat with these beautifully broken characters.
I wasn’t aware that this book is the second in a series when I selected it. Although it didn’t cause any issues with reading it first, I will definitely be reading Fated to get Alex and Frankie’s story. When Bella reappears in Nate’s life, they have a second chance at love. Now that Bella has dealt with her past she feels ready to reclaim the man that she left behind. However, what she finds when she returns is a different and broken man. When Bella’s past comes back to cause her to need protection, Nate takes control and vows to not only protect her but also to deal with both of their pasts so that they can find trust in one another. Although Nate is an adrenaline junkie who likes to dominate and take control, he’s also very charming and loveable. His character alone made every second spent with this book worthwhile, but I also loved the storyline and the suspense. This author did not let up on the suspense until the last page. I am excited to read much more from her.
Ok so going into this book, I didn't realise it's the 2nd book in the series, although it can be read as a standalone. I haven't read the first book in the series, but after reading this one I will definitely be taking a look at fated and the story of Frankie and Alex.
That being said, it didn't spoil my enjoyment of this book, I quickly fell instep with Bella and Nate and loved reading about their turbulent love affair. From the moment she walked away, to the moment she returned, you could sense it wasn't going to be easy.
What I liked about this though was the fact that it was not your straight forward romance, with a past quickly catching up on her that had followed her from the UK, looking to find her for what she had done and knew, but her alpha male wasn't going to let anything happen to her right ?
The ride was intense and hot and there was so epic secondary characters. I'm looking forward to more from AS Roberts and the next in this series
You ever have to tell the one person you love most it is over? Bella didn't think she would either, until her past came back with a vengenance. Given the chance to make things right she does what she has to. Now six months later, she is faced with a Nathan she has never seen before. He has definitely changed, but what would expect? Nathan didn't want to still have feelings for her, he really didn't. Trying to get her out of his head with other women did nothing. What hurt most was the fact she couldn't tell him the truth. But when her life is in danger he will do anything to keep her safe. These two keep telling themselves that it can't happen, but forced to be together and trust each other.....anything can happen. I liked the story for them, it was exciting, adventurous and at times just steamy enough. You never know what will be when faced with fear and love.
For only the second book of this newly published author, it was another really good read. It had all the feels. I laughed, cried, urged them to get their acts together, but most of all I found it to be a "finding your way back to true love" story.
This is the story of Bella Carpenter and Nathan Blackmore learning to face up the old feelings they have for each other. When Bella's past comes to the surface, Nathan offers to take her all the way to California, on the back of his bike, and a job at the other end until the people from Bella's past can be dealt with.
Can these two learn to trust each other again, and share their secrets? What happens when your past does catch up with you?
I really enjoyed Inevitable by A.S. Roberts, and I can't wait to see what's going to happen in the next book.
A fantastic read! Bella and Nathan each have a past filled with ugly truths. Unfortunately, Bella's history has finally caught up with her. Can Nathan protect her from the unknown? Will Bella allow herself to fully trust her story with the only man she wants a future with? As they set out across the country truths will be shared and fears will be told. Will it be enough?
Nathan is an alpha male that has lived an uncomfortable childhood but understands the value of family. He's a man that wants what his brothers have and he won't stop until he has it; the woman he loves, Bella. Can this motorbike star have it all?
Inevitable, a full length novel has everything. Romance, steamy sexy time, comedy, sensitive topics, hope and love. A.S. Roberts did an outstanding job of keeping me guessing and wanting more. A must read!
Only the second book from this author and for me it`s another hit, i loved this story and the way it held my interest throughout. A well written story of love, family loyalty and suspense. The main characters Nathan and Bella certainly find there love tested but when you have a close knit family things dont always seem so bad and the Blackmore brothers always stick together. This second book of the series was every bit as good as the first. Here`s hoping the third in this series wont be too long coming. I certainly like this authors writing style, the sex scenes too were explicit hot and steamy especially with Nathan and his wonderful dirty mouth which was a big part of this awesome book. I was given this ARC to read for an honest and unbiased review.
I have been waiting for this book to come out. After reading Fated I couldn't wait to read more about the other sexy Blackmore brother.
This book definitely didn't disappoint. Nathan is one super hot biker sex God. I love his cocky character and I love the sexual tension he has with Bella at the start of the book.
Their relationship was lovely so read develop and there were lots of funny bits along the way.
I loved the playlist that went with the book and was listening to the songs as they came along in the book. Some great song choices there!!!
A really great read, and I'm really looking forward to A S Roberts next book.
I was given an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
Holy hotness! This book was nothing what expected, it was so much more. Bella and Nathan has a usual story of girl meets boy and falls in love, but Bella feels she needs to put her past behind her before she can truly love Nathan in the future. Bella has taken care of her past and now has decided that she ready for future with Nathan. When her past comes back, will Nathan stand behind her or will he give up?
The characters have amazing soul chemistry and the storyline will send you through twist and turns. I highly recommend this book. Looking forward to reading more from this aurhor.

WOW!!! I Really Enjoyed This Hot As Hell Read That Offered SO Much More Than Sex And Love. I Was On Tender Hooks Reading This. With This Story Of Lost Love, Hurt, Betrayal And A Damn Right Hot As Hell Dirty Talking Alpha That Refuses To Take No For An Answer.
Nathan And Bella Were Amazing Together And The Chemistry Was Smoking. I Was Completely Sucked In To The Domineering Ways Of Nathan Blackmore, Well All Of The Blackmore Men Really Are No Nonsense Characters That You Just Fall For.
A.S Roberts Is A New Author For Me But I Can Guarantee That Was Changed With This Gripping Read.
My emotions are raw after reading this one, I just couldn't get it out of my mind. I never cried so much, then turn around and laughed, then have my heart ripped out next. I , am just speechless. I know I need to write a longer , more detailed review, but honestly I can't seem to wrap my head around how I can say what I need to with out giving something away. Just know this is an emotional , highly sensitive book and if you read it get ready to have every emotion come out. Reviewed by JustaBooklovinJunkie *ARC provided for a honest review*
