An action-focused volume that continues into the next volume of the most worthy challenger yet for Koro Sensei, the Grim Reaper (ooh!), who kidnaps hot English teacher Ms. Vitch--momentarily derailing a possible love connection with her fellow teacher, Karasuma--and lures all the students also into captivity in order to set a trap for Our Favorite Octopus. No exams or class trips or silly high jinks in this one; almost all business. And we get the feeling we are heading downhill to some conclusion of the series. This school year it looks like it is (maybe) going to happen. . . but I check to see how many volumes lay before until the end, and there are 7 more, sigh! But I peeked [just skimmed, avoiding spoilers, I know nothing] at how satisfied readers are with the ending, and they seem to dig it, so I will proceed. . .

Legendary assassin, the Grim Reaper, has his sights set on Koro Sensei. Class E are unwanted competition, but possibly useful as bait ... To be continued in Volume 13.
After the last volume's slump, we're back in shape. The plot moves along nicely with plenty of suspense and surprises. There's little doubt that the Grim Reaper will eventually be beaten--this isn't THAT kind of manga--but the question of how keeps everything moving. I notice that Koro Sensei has barely even been in these last two volumes. The story is really all about the students at this point, and that's fine. Still digging this series! It may not be the greatest manga ever, but it's much more fun than you'd expect from the premise.

¿Para qué leer la hora del shinigami?
1. Por que Yusei Matsui, ahora le da el protagonismo a Karasuma, y dioooos que genial personaje, aunque es firme y estricto, en su interior hay un alma llena de emociones y aprecio por los demás.
2. Te muestra a un gran asesino y villano como lo es EL DIOS DE LA MUERTE, y te muestra el poder y la maldad que puede guardar una sonrisa.
3. Este tomo estuvo lleno de acción, golpes, explosiones, adrenalina.

This Grim Reaper assassin is no joke. I thought Nagisa stood a little chance against him but it wasn't even a fight. He easily defeat the entire class and injured Koro Sensei. I'm pretty sure Vitch will realign her allegiance with Class 3-E int he next book. She cares about them too much now to turn back to the dark side.

As I continue to question my commitment to reading through this series (not even sure why I started in the first place), I am solaced by the fact that the end is nigh. Not a bad volume on the whole, pretty cohesive and very much focused on the kids and a formidable foe. Let's see where we're going to finish this series off.

Just as the class is getting serious about their assassin skills, they get a very killer surprise in the form of the Grim Reaper who happens to be a master of death and disguise. They’ll have to put their skills together in order to escape from his clutches and a shocking discovery about Miss Vitch’s true colors make it more unexpected. A (100%/Outstanding)

This was a solid read with a solid predicament the class has got themselves into. A couple of great twists, makes this another great read and want to continue until the end of the story!

December 16, 2025I'm intrigued by this Grim Reaper character. He looks as if to be portrayed as superhuman, but it's meant to just be that he has a wild amount of skills? I don't know how they're going to get out of this predicament, I just hope they do!

absolute blast, i got a koro sensei t-shirt recently and i have no regrets, this is definitely my favourite manga series by far and it reflects my current criminology studies interest in so many ways

Level 1 down.
This was intense! Karasuma-Sensei's time to shine! And the tako wasn't doing anything at all! I loved the bit about Itona. Just goes to show how much he put Sensei's words to heart, AND Class E. :) Equivalent to the latest anime episode though there were some parts that weren't included but all the same, great!

My only words for this volume - Any girls will fall in love with Karasuma-sensei. Well, I always attracted by his coolness and he does have a good look but this volume really proves that he's flawless.

Moc pěkná kresba, jež si již od začátku udržovala svoji kvalitu. Akorát mi ze začátku štvalo, že mi deformovali Karmův obličej. Naštěstí se po asi tří kapitolách po jeho objevení už neukázal. Také mě fascinoval fakt, že se zde vyskytovala hromada ošklivě vypadajících lidí. To ale byly většinou nedůležité postavy. Dále mě fascinoval fakt, že převládala černá barva vlasů i u více důležitých postav. Detaily tu byly také moc hezky vykreslené a především se mi líbily různorodé výrazy postav. Hlavně ty Koro-senseie. :D Třeba tenhle na spodku je úplně roztomilý. :D
Úžasný, dojemný a originální příběh, který se četl skoro sám. Probudil ve mně opravdu hodně emocí a velice mě bavil. Všechny postavy byly skvělé, neboť u skoro každé jsme věděli aspoň kousek z její minulosti, takže její charakter byl uvěřitelný. Dokonce se vyvíjeli i méně důležité postavy a u hlavních byl ten vývoj zcela zřejmý. Je trochu škoda, že se z valné většiny stali spíše kladné postavy, ale zde mě to ani moc nevadilo, protože k tomu měl každý svůj důvod.
Moje nejoblíbenější postava je Karma. <3 Miluji ho celým svým srdcem. <3 <3 :D Zaprvé proto, že vypadá pěkně (díky bohu, že autor mu přestal hned po 2 kapitolách dělat různě zdeformovaný obličej :D) a zadruhé proto, že se mi hodně líbil jeho charakter, především jeho vývoj. Abych pravdu řekla, tak prvních celých 10 stránek jsem ho moc ráda neměla, ale pak se všechno obrátilo. Trochu mi přišla škoda, že nebylo možné se dozvědět o něm něco více. :( Mimochodem vyrostl po těch sedmi letech do krásy. :D
Zajímavá mi přišla minulost Koro-senseie. Sice byla trochu klišoidní, neboť prostě za všechno může žena, ale to mi nevadilo. Nejhorší bylo, že nám byla odhalena trošičku na začátku, a pak se muselo dobu čekat, než se zjistily další podrobnosti, a já se prostě nemohla dozvědět více. :D Mimochodem předtím než se stal chobotnicí, vypadal vážně dobře. :D
Způsob, jakým byly vyobrazeny zkoušky, se mi moc nezamlouval a tyto části mě ani moc nebavily. Naštěstí tam byly pouze krátce a jen dvakrát. Prostě mi přišlo divná podávat písemky jako alegorii na bojiště. Ze začátku to bylo hustý, ale po chvíli mi to přišlo zdlouhavé, neboť komentáře studentů k otázkám mě moc nezaujaly.
Mimochodem když jsem u vzdělání... Tenhle celý vzdělávací systém se mi zdál opravdu příšerný a znechucující. Diskriminace je velmi hnusná věc. Sice asi měl úspěch, ale potopil jakýkoli jiný potenciál, a ke všemu k čemu je dobré se drtit až do umření, pokud vám něco nejde? Neříkám, že to není správné, avšak všeho moc škodí. Protože když se člověk bude dennodenně učit bez přestávky, úplně ho to zničí.
Také jsem nechápala chování Nagisovy matky. Jako vysvětlení mi zpočátku stačilo to, že ji opustil její manžel a ona to psychicky nezvládla. Pak se otec Nagisy náhle zjevil, takže jsem tento důvod nepobrala. Navíc po pokecání s Koro-senseiem to vypadalo, že se změnila k lepšímu. To jsem jí ale prostě nemohla uvěřit, neboť se to stalo vážně zčistajasna. Musela jsem litovat i "2D anime holky jsou lepší než reálné" týpka, jehož rodiče taktéž stáli za nic.
Nepřítomnost romantiky mezi studenty mi opravdu nevadila, jelikož by se mi uspořádání párů určitě nelíbilo a bylo by tam nadbytečná. Hlavně by mi určitě brejlatá holka sebrala Karmu a to bych jí neodpustila. :D Mezi některými žáky sice nějaké chemie probíhala, avšak většinou jen náznaky, což mi bohatě stačilo.
Konec se dal očekávat, ale i tak jsem prostě celou dobu doufala, že se to vyřeší jinak.
Rozhodně bylo zajímavé sledovat, kam to všichni dosáhli.
Obálky se mi líbí a jediné, co bych na nich vytkla, je nedodržování jednotného stylu až do konce. Poslední dvě obálky totiž pak vypadají, jako by mezi ostatní ani nepatřily. Mimochodem je opravdu pravda, že v jednoduchosti je krása.

What if you were assigned to a classroom and instructed to kill your teacher? We've all had teachers that we wish to get rid of, but what if the teacher was an alien who could move at Mach 20?
Welcome to Classroom 3-E. Full of all the "rejects" and losers from the main school building. If your grades were failing or your conduct was poor you were transferred to this room.
An alien has come to earth and upon destroying the moon to a permanent crest has decided to become a teacher. He wants to help polish the students in Classroom 3-E. Oh and upon graduation the students must assissinate him or else he destroys Earth. Isn't that lovely?
This alien is a tricky one at that, he also has more tentacles than an octopus and could be compared to one. The normal things that would kill a human, doesn't affect him. The students are asssigned weapons and BB's to help take this creature down. They may try to kill him at anytime as long as it doesn't interfere with their studies.
Nagisa's the main character of the group who's a guy. Now from the drawings and little pigtails in his hair. . .I confess I thought he was a she. Strange, misleading hairstyles. . . Anyways, he calmly collects information about Koro Sensei, the students gave the alien this nickname since he didn't have a true name.
Karma's a cool, sneak attack assissian who's been suspended but upon returning he seems to be a bit of a true match for our teacher. Still needs to be polished and I'll tell you this he really does get polished by Koro Sensei. Tee hee.
I love this book in how there's an intense mixture of comedy and impending doom upon the students. Koro Sensei's not allowed to harm any of the students in his classroom until after graduation. He also doesn't take them seriously because they're children. I really loved this book and I had a constant smile on my face as I read.
I didn't catch any foul language but I think they're may have been a little. Nothing compared to my loud neighbors that drop the f bomb every three words. No sexual stuff, until the very end, but there's no step by step or anything. Just a female assassian eliminating a male target. This is going to be a great series I just know it. I hope to read more about this interesting teacher who wishes to destroy earth and yet he acts like a normal, caring teacher with his students.
