Postcards From Venus

POSTCARDS FROM VENUS
The promise of beautiful beaches, meditation, and massages lures Venus Parson to a relaxing woman's retreat. There she makes the unlikely connection with two women, Bunny and Elina, who become fast friends. The adventure for Venus takes a quick spiral off a cliff onto a deserted island where growth and rejuvenation of the heart and mind take on an entirely new meaning. The rescue effort comes slow giving Venus time to face her short comings and all the faults she'd conveniently blamed on others over the years. Once she learns how to deal with the turmoil on the island, she's ready to face her fears head on. This beloved series keeps getting better with every step Venus takes into new territory.

Good book, started kind of slow, but if you read the series you could follow along. I like the suspense with Gabriel was a great added touch. I can't wait to read the next bit of drama. Now that both Jake and Venus will be going back to work.

I cannot wait for another Nappily followup! I started out so angry with Jake! I was hoping Venus would walk away but so glad their love is prevailing. Jake rescued her...saved his family. And Venus is back! The strong, independent, opinionated Venus!

It wasn't my favorite Venus book but I did find myself "lost" in the story... wondering what would happen and how it would end. I was shocked and couldn't believe how it began thinking some things were in the past but be that as it may Ms. Thomas keeps the story going with this book. There are lots of loose ends and unresolved innuendo and Venus has been coming undone for about 3 books now but I enjoy taking the ride with her. Jake was getting on my nerves, but two points for Venus. I almost didn't think this was a nappily story because of the title but it is...and maybe they WILL be... Nappily Ever After.

Venus never dissapoints

She is a flawed character but always entertaining. Just as with every novel in the Nappily series, there is something I could relate to. I was fortunate to read this novel on a warm beach so I was really immersed in the story. I can't wait for the next installment in the series.

Venus almost goes there

But she’s a good person. She’s WAY too dependent upon her parents, but she sure is committed to her marriage. She risks her life for the man she loves....I need her to refocus on her children. Well done, Trisha!

Lost

This being the last book, makes me feel a lot like Venus. My heart aches and mourns the loss of the characters. Thanks for the adventurous getaways!
