I am a fan of Kim Fox for life, I enjoyed reading this book and it gave me a heartwarming feeling and it's a fantastic read. This is a adorable book to read. Kim Fox uses magic to weaves her words into a awesome book and it's a great start to what can only be a Spectacular series. This is a captivating paranormal romance. I fell in love with these bear shifters and as this is the first book to start this great series. The characters you will get acquainted with in this storyline are amazing, powerful, exhilarating and full of surprises. The flow words is great and it's well paced. The story is well written by a truly gifted author. I really love stories about bears, to me this is one of the best of the best when it comes to paranormal romance novels. Kim Fox can write a bear shifter story with such poetic ability. She is a master of the shifter and human relationships, combined with her deep knowledge and understanding of what male eye candy, sensual scenes are really about is a constant amazement throughout her books. I love that her storylines
puts the reader (that's me and you:D) right inside the storyline and it makes you be able to hear the sounds and see the pictures in your mind when I read her. I felt the tenderness and sense of falling in love when Kaylee and Stetson first met at the ranch. Kim Fox is a true paranormal romance master. Plus how can you beat a deal like this, and the unbelievable entertainment. This is a new series about The Clawed Squad, Stetson is a shifter who is not just up against Kylee the sheriff long held prejudices. They both maybe up against a dangerous secret that could destroy the two of them, can the two of them change fate?
This is a Fantastic Read. If you are looking for a Spectacular paranormal book then you need to read this book. This is a Fantastic book it's scorching hot, sexy, it's romance with a attitude. Cute sweet read. I know you will say this is a predictable shifter story with insta-love, but I liked it. The writing was good and kept me reading.
Stetson was sexy as hell and even if the story was short you still got to see inside him and find out his sad tortured history. I loved his awkwardness and his sexiness combined.
Kylee was alright. She made me mad with choices, but she was her own woman and independent.
The plot took an interesting turn, I have to admit I did guess what was going to happen. I still liked it. I am off to read about the rest of the Clawed Squad.

Sometimes we wonder who romances big women? Well, big men, usually. In this book a plump female sheriff unexpectedly catches the fancy of a grumpy polar bear shifter. Be prepared for remarks on size during sex. Naturally the polar bear is a fearsome predator and the human aspect of this person has to reassure the lady - who is prone to recurring nightmares about bears. For good reason as it turns out later.
The setup of the story is ludicrous but has clearly been created to serve the author for a series about various romances. A ranch has been willed to a group provided each and every one of the single men marries within a year. These are rather sexist stories though the author would not mean it that way. The women are expected to go along with the men's instalust and to agree to being a mate for ever, no possible divorce.
Interesting characterisation. This is an adult romance with explicit scenes.

Great start to this great series about this bunch, The Clawed Squad. They are gifted 4000 acres of prime land on the Vega Brothers ranch in Montana. Problem is The Vega Brothers had no idea that when they transfered the Title of the land to them, they would be bound by the same stipulations they were when they inherited the land. Get married, or lose the land, ALL OF THEM! And they only have 8 months to do it! Sooooooo the race is on...LoL
Stetson is the biggest burliest Polar Bear (and human too) of the squad. He is very adamant about not finding a mate, he doesn't think he is worthy of one, even when he catches a whiff and sees the town Sheriff. She's got his ornary bear all smooth and collected!
Kylee is the town of Colwood, Montana's BBW Sheriff and she's gonna lay the law down to the new comers in town, yep they are shifters and her daddy raised her to think shifters were all bad. The Vega brothers aren't a bad lot with their mates and all, but these guys need checking and when she gets a look at the size, man he is he huge and those gorgeous green eyes of the one called Stetson, she forgets all her daddy's teachings.
This is such a funny, sad and heartwarming story, not to mention hot! I absolutely enjoyed reading it and I can't wait to read all the The Clawed Squad stories.

All the years of having been engrained to believe by your father that shifters were awlful. Sheriff Black believed they were bad except the Vega boys she grew up with. When she finds that their is a new group of shifters that has a criminal record that moved into her territory she go to put an end to it. Never in her wildest dreams did she think she would fall for the biggest of them all green eyed and muscles galore. Stetson new he wasn't mate material and had no desires in hooking up with a mate even after saving the sheriff. He was pulled to her but wouldn't act on it. But once the attorney told them they had eight months to get married or loose the land along with the Vega brothers they had no choice. He still wasn't for it but that one night of passion was all it took. Him and his polar bonded with
Kaylee. But what she didn't know was why Andrew the mayor wanted them all gone? What was it that he was afraid of that they could expose about him? Does Kaylee vision of being mauled by a bear and killed come true? Need the answers pick up the first book in the Clawed Squad. I'm on to book two now. Gotta see what's gonna happen.

Danger and love go hand in hand in this terrific new series, get ready for a wild ride with this story. Kylee is the town Sheriff and she is out to find out why the "Clawed Squad" of shifters has moved into her town, but when she meets sex on a stick Stetson who is biggest and baddest shifter she has ever met, she knows she is in over her head. Stetson and his crew have just been informed that they all need to find mates in the next 8 months or loose their new home, so what is a polar bear shifter to do? Stetson thinks Kylee is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, but they both have secrets and are wary, can they overcome their pasts in order to be with each other, or will their secrets and assumptions allow evil destroy them? Woa! I’m still fanning myself from Stetson. Stetson is the total bad boy package and it’s no wonder Kylee, the sheriff can’t keep her eyes from traveling the length of him. Kylee isn’t supposed to like shifters, and yet there’s Stetson. Kylee and Stetson had their chemistry off the chart. Stetson is supposed to avoid getting in trouble with the law. Little did he know what trouble he could get into with the sheriff. There is trouble in town and Kylee knows that something bad is going to happen. Now she just has to decide if she is going to trust her bad boy.
The entire Clawed Squad men were introduced and I can’t wait for each of their stories, especially Royal’s. The Clawed Squad is the story after the Vega brothers. However, you don’t need to have read those before to enjoy your own bad bear, er bad boy.

Kim Fox is very good at writing Paranormal Romance. She rocked the Vega Brothers and now she is on a roll with “The Clawed Squad”. “Stetson” is the first book in the series and while it is very mysterious it is also full of laughs. Trust me when I say that you will not put it down once you start reading it. While I think “Stetson” is worth more than 5 stars, 5 is all I can give it with a great big HOT DAMM!!!!! The story line as well as the characters in the book will knock your socks off. While Stetson and Kylee are the two main characters of the book; the rest of The Clawed Squad has their parts which will make you laugh till you hurt. Trust me when I say that you will not regret buying this book. This book is recommended for mature readers 18 and older.

As usual we have another home run for this Lil Lady. Yes, again everything she touches is genuinely pleasurable to read. Always turning each page into a the best paranormal read ever. Funny I didn't think she could beat any of the Vega Brothers Books but she did. Yes, Ms. Kim must be on a Montana roll. That's right our spin off puts us right back on the Vega Ranch as you know from the last Vega Book the brothers made a deal with the Clawed Squad on the far end of there land. Happy to except the land the squad was trying to make something out of this place and they were succeeding too. A lawyer met with them, saying that unfortunately when they made the deal with the Vega Brothers, the Clawed Squad also had to meet the terms of the Vega brothers dad's will. In order for any of them to keep the ranch all owners must meet, mate and marry within a year of inheriting the ranch.
Stetson Evans, was a abandon Bear Shifter because his parents were very scared of him so they left him on the streets at a early age. Living on the streets while fighting to survive, he turned into a angry bear, then he was captured and doctor's experimented on him for years and later the General formed the Clawed Squad. Big joke his life was, he sure as heck wouldn't find a mate.

An Awesome Read!
I loved reading The Clawed Squad Stetson book 1, all about the six new shifter's who moved into Colwood, Montana onto a 4000 acre ranch called Clawed Ranch & Sheriff Kylee Black. She goes into the local bar and introduces herself to the new shifters Slate & Karl Ember twin brothers, Stetson Evan, Tyler Jones the 2nd & Thron the alpha of the pack. Each of them are shifter's mostly polar bears, but Tyler is a very rare breed called a Skin shifter, which means he can slide into any animals skin, and take over their mind. The Sheriff just wanted to let the new-comers know that the town did not want any trouble of any kind, and they agreed. Stetson has taken. Shine to the Sheriff and when he came out of the bar, the Sherriff was being held at gun point by a big burly teenager who just laughing in her face with a very angry sneer on his face. Stetson grabbed the kid around his waist and just kept squeezing until he dropped the gun, then he pinned him down on the sidewalk until the Sherriff was able to cuff him and put him in the back of the patrol car. She turned around to thank Stetson but he was already gone. That author wrote a very interesting story and the characters brought said story to life! Stetson is part of the Claw Squad. He's the most quite and biggest one. One night in town he notices the sheriff and then saves her from a crazy teen.
Kylee hasn't had a good view of shifters. She was raised to hate them. But when Stetson saves her it opened her mind.
They go on a date and find they mesh very well. One problem is that the mayor hates shifters and wants them all gone and he's forcing her to help.
She doesn't want to after spending time with Stetson. They both have secrets that could effect their outcome.
This book had so much going for it. The sweet feelings of love developing and the mystery and suspense of what hate can do to people.

Kylee is sheriff of a small quiet town and when a group of ex con shifters shows up she makes it a point to find out what they are up to.When Kylee and Stetson a bear shifter set eyes on each other sparks fly.Stetsons bear wants it's mate but he doesn't think he's mate material.Kylee has long heard about evil shifters but is torn she doesn't truly believe Stetson is like the stories her father told her of shifters.There's trouble brewing in town as a hidden enemy will stop at nothing to get the shifters gone including murder .I enjoyed this story very much and am looking forward to the next book in this series.

WOW! Kim never disappoints her readers and this one is no exception! Stetson - what can I say! He is a big lovable polar bear shifter. I love this group of guys just as much as I love the Vega brothers! Kylee is the best mate for Stetson. They make a great couple. The plot is awesome and interesting. The storyline flows smoothly throughout. I was hooked from the very beginning. The characters are well-developed and easily relatable including the supporting characters! I can't wait for more!!!!

What a fantastic book. Sherrif of small town encounters shifters, who have taken up residence locally, and her father had always had grudge against shifters and had always warned her against them. However, events occur and she starts to believe that what she had been told was not true for all shifters.
Her visions though, were telling her something else. What was she to believe??
You will have to read what happens, and what the outcome is when Kylee's vision comes true.

Stetson...ex-con polar bear shifter with a chip the size of New Mexico on his shoulder. He is part of the Clawed Squad, a brotherhood of shifters. And possibly the most stubborn of them all!
Can you smell the explosive combination?? This is one of those magical opposites attract!!
Loved this read!! I would read The Vegas first for extra background and just more shifter goodness!!!!

This is a wonderful beginning to a new series I know you will fall in love with. This book brings you into the lives of Montanas newest shifter residence. Stetson beleives he is the last person to need a mate but soon finds out, he's the first to get one. This book will have you laughing and crying at the same time. I was gifted this book for an honest review and it's a must read

Cute but simple shifter romance. I cant really say much else about it. There wasn't anything overly review worthy about this book, but it made for a decent quick read. Glad it was offered as a kindleunlimited.

Great book
I have a new favorite family, the clawed ranch bears. The first book was fantastic. The biggest, baddest, sexiest bear got his girl. Amid tons of adventure and action and wonderful bear sex it was great.

Stetson is a really mean polar bear shifter, and the bear isn’t much better either!
Thrown away by his family, experimented on by scientists, and then forced into the army. No wonder he’s had enough!
Kylee is the local sheriff, she knows there are shifters that live in her town, the Vega brothers are a pretty peaceful bunch, but this new crew coming into town is a whole bunch of troubled. She needs to let them know she won’t take any type of hassle from them.....

She was the sheriff and was suppose to be strong but she was very wishy washy and made stupid mistakes that didn't really make sense. However, in the end, the story made up for her dumbness. I will probably read the next one.

I love this author! This is my second story from her and I can honestly say she has the storytelling down. This book was a shifter romance with wonderful characters and a fun plot line.
Stetson, is a large, and I mean LARGE, polar bear shifter who doesn't think he is mate material. He is sweet and caring, smart and strong and I loved the way he treated his love. Kylee is the towns sheriff and has been told her whole life that shifters are bad. I love her willingness to gather her own data before making up her mind.
The plot was filled with action and heat, but also it flowed it an organic way. There was nothing to stop my enjoyment if the book (no editing, plot gaps, misspellings, etc). I loved the way the characters were introduced, their personalities, the bad guy versus good guy, the humor and the heat. I will be reading the rest of these men's stories!
If you love shifter reads I highly recommend thus author as she has it down!!

Stetson😍
First of all, I love shifter stories and Kim Fox writes them so well! I know this was a quick story and had all kinds of instant lust factors, but it was so, so good! Big, grumpy shifter Stetson thought he didn't deserve a mate after the way his own family treated him and the tortures he suffered in the military, but Sheriff Kylee was just the woman for him! And oh boy, did he ever come through for her and proved himself to be a worthy hero and mate!
**My only complaint: Sheriff Kylee was a sweet, wonderful person, but quite incompetent as a law enforcement officer and a bit naive!! She had her own gun taken from her and used on her not once, but twice!! Seriously??!!**
