Kaleidoscope Hearts - 4 stars
I really enjoyed this book. I loved Estelle and Oliver. There was sexual tension and not too much drama.

Torn Hearts - 4 stars
This was a great, quick read to lead into Mia and Jensen's story. Lots of feels for such a short story.

Paper Hearts - 4 stars
To be honest, I almost stopped reading. It took me till about halfway through to fully connect and get hooked. I loved Jensen. Mia bothered me at times with how she reacted to everything. I would have liked more from Jensen's POV. Overall I thought this was a great book.

Elastic Hearts - 5 stars
This is my favorite book of the series. It definitely had a different feel than the other books. It gave me all the feels, but was not an emotional roller coaster. I loved the sexual tension between Victor and Nicole. I think the story was well written and the pace was good. The ending was perfect.

Bonus material - 3 stars

Love, love, LOVE this series!

I read and loved Kaleidoscope Hearts to the point that it is a recurrent re-read of mine. Since I enjoyed Estelle and Oliver's story so much, I was hesitant to reading the rest because I thought Jensen was a jerk and Victor arrogant. Let me just say the Victor is still arrogant but also so very sweet to Nicole and they are a perfect match. And Jensen was so WOW that he's competing with Oliver as my favorite, and let me tell you, that's a really treasured place. It is really refreshing to keep seeing these characters throughout the the series. And I have to conclude saying that these are not easily forgotten characters and stories!

So I decided, after reading Kaleidoscope Hearts, Torn Hearts and then Paper Hearts, that I'm in love with Claire Contreras´books. I love how I feel about the charcters and their lives .I'm in a serious book hangover. WHAT could possibly live up to that lineup??? What is going to make me feel those emotions ? Geez. I am seriously in love with Claire Contreras and her style of writing.

Claire Contreras has every word filled with emotions - and the kind that you can feel. They tugged on my heart! They aren't just words you are reading, coming to you off a page. Nope. You are feeling them. I felt a serious ache in my heart while reading Kaleidoscope Hearts and Paper Hearts. They were beautiful reads....no doubt about it. The pain that I felt....I actually enjoyed it. It was so torturously good. And sexy. And agonizing. And amazing. And excruciating. And angsty. I loved that part of it!!! I love me some good angst.

I am finding the more and more that I read, the more picky I get because I'm just starting to realize what plots and authors really work for me. Claire Contreras is officially one of those authors now that I know will write me a story that will just render me speechless. Because I am. Where do I even begin to explain this book?

She writes of heartache and pain, and the chance to find one another again while working to get past the pain they caused. Yep. That she does. And all of the ones that say this is an amazing book, they aren't lying. Not one bit....and I will back every one of those reviews. I want to talk about Claire and her style. I want YOU to know that she writes these super emotionally captivating stories that make you feel. Like, I want to say she is different than many of the others I have read because I felt her. I seriously had to stop a few times and just ponder the possibilities of what she was writing about. Her words were so deep...so many things were said that could've meant so many other things. Man!!! I just want to scream it out....these books are amazing- I can´t recommend them high enough.
Seriously. Love. Her.

Overall, I would give Paper Hearts a 5 star rating. The angst and the heartstrings-pulling love that these two had? Yes, amazing. Jenson is the unicorn . He is the man. He is an artist, so his love comes out in such a romantic way and I loved seeing things through his eyes.
Kaleidoscope Hearts gets a 5 star rating from me for the pure torture I felt while reading this back and forth love story between Oliver and Elle. I know some people wont like the back and forth part of it, but that was realistically written. This one made me yearn for their touches for them. Long for them. They had an intensity that was hot and undeniable. And it was this intensity that had me pacing.

A Must Read Series💞💖💖💖

In a mood for a real romance filled with friends, laughter, joy, love, heartache and some real good angst then this series is for you.
The first book is about Oliver and Estelle, the hot doctor and the beautiful heart broken artist. She's his best friend's sister. Although right from when they are young feelings were there but he would not act on it. Not until life gives him a second chance as she is back again.

The next and MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE BOOK of the year is Paper hearts, the second book in the series. THIS BOOK WAS OUT OF THE WORLD AMAZING!!!!!!!! Mia is Estelle's best friend and Jensen is Oliver's best friend. Mia and Jensen were the so called high school sweethearts, well sort of, but their love was the forever kind until something happens and makes Jensen leave Mia. Even though it's the fault of circumstances, Mia vouches to never ever see him again. But alas fate works in wondrous manners and they both are thrown together again. Will Mia give Jensen a chance again even though Jensen has made it his life goal to not let this second chance go no matter what. He will stop at nothing to have her back.

The last book is about Victor, Estelle's brother and Oliver and Jensen's best friend, the hot attorney at law. He is super ambitious and hard working and doesn't believe in love. Nicole Alessi is sweet girl. Victor is to represent Nicole for her divorce and he can't deny if he wants the promotion and also she happens to be the boss's daughter. But how will they survive working together especially when they both had a past in the form of a hot affair that nobody knew of. Victor will let nothing come in way of his career but what about the unrestrained feelings that have started for nicole. Can he let her go this time especially when last time he had let her go, she had gone and landed in the arms of another man.

This series was really a fun filled one and looking forward to all books from Ms. Contreras henceforth.💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

The Complete Heart series was amazing! Each book will touch deep inside your heart. Each book will destroy you and bring you to tears. But each book will also make you believe in love- in soulmates.

Book 1- Kaleidoscope Hearts
Oliver and Estelle loved each other long before anyone knew. She was his best friends little sister. Victor had always made sure his friends knew his sister was of limits. But Oliver fell for her anyway. The two share a love rare for people so young, so they don't treat it with the care it needs. Oliver is career driven. He needs the stability he feels it will create for him. What he doesn't realize is that Estelle is the one who gives him that comfort. Not his job. Years later they get a second chance. But it's not easy. Oliver still has a demanding job. Estelle is working through issues of her own. And they are still hiding from Victor.
Truly wonderful story!

Book 2- Paper Hearts
I knew Jensen and Mia's story would break me, but I didn't realize the death emotions this book would make feel. The writing bring the characters to life. You feel their love for each other. But you also feel their pain. Jensen and Mia find each other young in life. They let each other go to pursue their dreams, but always knew they would end up together. They were each other's best friends. Soulmates. But Jensen finds himself in a situation that tears him away from Mia. His responsibilities lie elsewhere now, but their love for each other never goes away. This book frustrated me many times. So much hurt between these two!! Mia has tried to avoid Jensen as much as possible over the years but when life forces them back together, she can't help but see the boy she fell in love with. Mia and Jensen have a lot to overcome in order to be a couple. Their journey is emotional but beautiful.

Book 3- Plastic Hearts
Victor and Nicole have a complicated situation. What starts off as a hook up in the bar becomes more. But Victor doesn't have time for a relationship. He lets Nicole go only to realize later it was a mistake. Life brings them back together, but now she is off limits. Their short affair remains a secret in order for Victor to keep his job. But time spent together makes Victor want to risk it all.
Awesome read!

I hated to see this series end. I loved all the characters involved. Definitely will be recommending it to everyone!

4.25 Heartfelt Stars

This rating is for the complete series, which I enjoyed overall. But I must say that in ranking the books, my preference is the order of Torn Hearts, Kaleidoscope Hearts, then Elastic Hearts. I had previous read Torn Hearts, but I didn't have the novella that went along with it, which to me, just enhanced the story even more. The stories can all be read as a stand alone, but knowing the history of the other couples just makes it a richer read. I have to admit that of all the characters, the one that I just couldn't connect with was Nicole from Elastic Hearts. Her wispy washy behavior was not only confusing, but it made me angry, as she knew what was at stake for Nick. I thought that she came across as extremely selfish. This author is extremely talented, and her stories need to be experienced.

Not as good as I expected

Loved Oliver but couldn't connect with Estelle. She felt immature and always felt she was still in a love triangle. The constant reminder of Wyatt who most characters didn't care for and her love for him even though he was controlling. Couldn't figure out where she was. She lusted after Oliver but I didn't get the feeling she was completely in love with him. There was always a reminder a ghost was in their relationship and ghosts are never a good thing. Can't see their life ending in a forever after.
Still have to read the next two stories. So my review might change.

4.5 hearts!

If you are in the mood for second chance romance, this series is definitely one to grab. Three standalone stories that are connected through friends & family. I loved each one of the novels, which were both very different, but my favourite was Mia & Jenson’s book. Something about their love completely captured my heart. It’s definitely one of my favourite reads from this year. I’m so glad I took the time to read this series, which had been on my TBR for years. Recommended.

I loved this series! I would've rated it 5 stars but I didn't care of Elastic Hearts. After finishing Kaleidoscope Hearts I was hesitant to part with the story line of Elle and Oliver and move onto Mia and Jenson. BUT I ended up LOVING Paper Hearts even more than Kaleidoscope Hearts. I finished the book in 2 weeks and that's impressive for me since I'm a SAHM of 2 toddlers!
If you are looking for second chance love stories I HIGHLY recommend this series!

I really enjoyed this entire series

This series ran my emotions through the wringer. They
ranged from tugging on my heartstrings to pulling on my funny bone, from making me drop my jaw in awe to wanting to throat punch someone. I am so glad I took the time to read all three of them together.

Hearts 💖

While I loved Elle and Oliver's story and seeing the cynical Victor falling in love - the one that REALLY got to me was Mia and Jensen in Paper Hearts.

This was a beautiful series and I really do recommend it to anyone looking to escape into a world of love for hours on end

Why is all the girls in here brats about stupid stuff. I get being cautious but if they say"I want to be with you" while you go back and forth about yes or no. Maybe you should be by yourself. And there were so many unnecessary conversation that happened in this book. Was it a chapter quota that had to be met. Plus is was some of repeated lines. I'm only rating it for the hero mostly. 3.5

Amazing Series

Omg I loved this series so much and it was so well written by Claire. The couple's in this series had such hot chemistry and connection between them, there was so much emotional pain, heartache and sadness that they all went through before they all got there happy endings. I definitely recommend you read this series and you will not be disappointed.

It took me a long time to finish this book but it was worth every minute second and hour,

I read this during lockdown and it really helped because the characters were lovable and the sexy scenes between the main characters were totally hot.

If your not sure what will put a smile on your face. Try this book and worth every penny.

So....

So I really fell in love with the first 2 books in this series. That is why I rated the series with 4 stars. I really don't know what happened with the last book. I just could not stop skimming though. My issue wasn't so much with Victor but more wth Nicole.

Loved book 1 & 3 … 5 stars! Couldn’t get into book 2 as much, characters weren’t as likeable & neither was their backstory, the column writing was annoying to me he seemed like a teenage girl whinging, not a writer. The fact Mia apologies to him in the end for what HE did to HER, just wow 😂
