One of four brides to be featured in the upcoming issue of "Perfect Bride" magazine, Monique d'Arcy, who is engaged to the magazine's owner, chooses her best friend, Eve, a hot new movie star, and an unknown as the other three brides
Okay so read this book as a quick reprieve from the horror and historical stuff that I have been reading and it was exactly what I thought it was--an engaging book thats not too serious but fun and filled with romantic escapades, hunky men, unrealistic but entertaining plot twists and impossibly beautiful women. In this book there are four gorgeous brides to be scheduled to appear in a Perfect Bride magazine photo shoot but then something goes wrong with every one of them and secrets are uncovered, suspense builds and then it all ends happily ever after..Short and sweet little book with not much substance but a good diversion from heavy literature you read with a dictionary close by..Cute
New author(s- apparently it's two women writing together) for me... Not bad, not great. It verged on feeling slightly dated, but never quite crossed the line. Richard's scheming was a bit weird and it would have been nice if that had come out into the open. Felt like a loose thread to me.
