A nice collection of amusing stories for Greek reading practice, plus a glossary at the back. Any word the author thinks learners aren't likely to know is marked with an asterisk in the text and then (at least in theory) listed in the glossary. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that a lot of the starred words actually weren't in the glossary.

These stories will appeal more to adult learners of Greek, but they are an amusing autobiographical telling of a Greek Human Comedy, starting when the author was a "wee" child and ending when she is adult.
They are nicely glossed in the back, although certainly not close to all the words I needed. After a while, as I gained more confidence (and vocabulary) I noticed that some words repeated often, which is fine for a learner.
There are exercises in the back, which I never used, but I did enjoy retelling them to my tutor.
