We want to get ferrets in the future, so I borrowed this book from a friend. I wanted to know more about ferrets before we ever get them. This book explains a lot about these funny animals, including history, care, and cautions. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a ferret.

While there was some good information in this book, that it was written by a breeder rather than a vet or behaviorist spoiled it for me.

Good introduction to Ferrets overall but very USA based, so some terminology and jargon used was not clear, legal information not relevant and “brand names” meaningless.

We recently got ferrets. This book was a great gride. It helped me better understand our new pets.

I love how he keeps up with what he said be4 hand about like him being a breeder. And kept talking using a modern family pet to explain what they do. Nosies they make. And everything.

I found this to be a useful reference when I lived with my ferret.
