Rate this book
Toe-Curling, Nail-Biting Action! USA Today Bestselling Author Tracy Ellen offers Acadia's Revenge, Book 2 in the highly-rated zombie apocalypse romance Undying Love Series - the continuing story of falling in love and survival during a world-wide pandemic. Acadia King never imagined the catastrophic event she’d diligently planned years for to survive would be an infection turning normal people into violent crazies, nor had she ever thought surviving a global pandemic would be easy. But now that the worst nightmare has happened, Acadia is damn sure defending her home against the infected is her number one priority. Nowhere near the top of that priority list is her personal issue of a younger football player inexplicably proclaiming his love, even if he's the sexiest man left on Earth. Acadia's stubborn determination to ignore her personal feelings for Rod works, but then tragedy strikes. Tryg Johnson, the psychopathic leader of the Iron Fists biker gang, is back and proves he'll do anything to get revenge on Acadia. Now Acadia is all about getting personal. Undying Love Acadia's Book One Acadia's Book Two Acadia's Book Three (Coming Soon) *The Undying Love Series should be read in order. The series was written for the entertainment of an adult audience and contains strong language, some gore (hey, we're talking zombies here), and sexual situations. I was born in Indiana to middle-class parents, the third out of five hellions. I've lived in the Midwest my whole life--in a small town, on a farm, and in the big city. Currently, I live in the suburbs of St Paul, Minnesota. I love writing romance with a twist. I love connecting with readers, too. Comments, posts, emails, and reviews are always welcome. This was a great second book in the series. Once you start reading, you won't want to put the book down - the suspense, the humor, the betrayal, and of course, the hot romance between Acadia and Rod. Then there's also the growing pains of how you organize the many people who are living at King Farm and who should be in charge. Can't wait for the next book.

Wow, Tracy Ellen has yet to disappoint me. This was such a great story! Get ready for a suspenseful read that will keep you up late!

"I shrugged and grinned. 'Hey, this is your fucked up fairytale, dude.'"

Taking place over a short period of time, Acadia’s Revenge is packed full of action and romance. The ending had me feeling awful for one of the characters and I can’t wait to see how Acadia seeks vengeance. We haven’t even heard the full story of what happened yet, but I believe this is the most emotional as well as horrifying moment Tracy Ellen has written so far. It is twisted, disturbing, and be prepared to get sick to your stomach which really adds to the ominousness of a zombie apocalypse story.

Now I will admit, most leading male characters in books aren’t easy to find comparable versions in real life; however, I find Rod’s personality to be incredibly realistic. It is quite entertaining to have a one-sided insta-love situation, and I can’t get enough of it. His persistence and cockiness is endearing which suits Acadia so well. They make one very bad ass couple.

I can’t wait to see what happens next with these complex characters. I hope for more Deb-related drama and biker bashing! I am glad to know the third in series is coming out at the end of the month.

Received an ARC for my honest review. Zombies not my normal genre. The Undying Love Series has Romance, survivalist Acadia, a hot alpha male and to make it interesting- zombies!

It's day two of the zombie virus apocalypse. Acadia has implemented her strategy for surviving any apocalypse. She and her team have gathered supplies and a little over 100 people have gathered at King Farm. Day two starts after she has executed her step brother-in-law for trying to kill her and trying to take over King Farm for his own dictatorship.

The romance between Acadia and Rod is heating up. Acadia realizes she must plan defenses against the oncoming humans wanting the safety of King Farm and the zombies. Acadia has an extensive plan due to her survivalist beliefs.

Tracy Ellen has done it again with the 2nd book in her Undying Love Series. Love T-Bone and Ray Dean, pro football linebackers. You have to laugh at some of the things they say. What can I say about hot, hot quarterback Rod except yum!

With everything that is happening in Acadia's zombie apocalypse world, how long would you stay alive?

Looking forward to book 3.

Even though a zombie apocalypse is an epic tragedy, I never expected it would be funny too. (And I loved every moment of the gallows humor.) I really appreciated that that this is written with the adage "people will be people" firmly in mind. In an emergency situation some people are going to dig deep and become heroes while others will completely panic and not do anything logical. There are also those people who will use the chaos as an excuse to be as evil and horrible to their fellow man as their twisted little imaginations can think up. All of those people are on King farm now and looking to Acadia to tell them what's next. I am so looking forward to book 3.

I absolutely love Tracy Ellen and how she writes. I have never been a fan of zombie or apocalyptical type books but the way Tracy writes and how wonderful her characters are, she just draws you right in. This is the second book in the series and I just absolutely love acadia and how much more realistic she got in this book. Don't get me wrong she is still the bad pass woman we all love but in this book it seems she let us see more of her weaknesses and for what she is going through it made it a little more believable. I definitely recommend this series, even if you are not a fan of zombie books, and look forward to the next one!

So let me start by saying I'm a huge tracy ellen fan, although I haven't really been feeling the paranormal genre I gave this series a shot. I'm so glad I did! I really enjoy the characters in Tracy's books and I especially love their sense of humor. This series has a great mix of everything, it's not just a love story, not just a comedy, and not just zombies, perfect mix of all of it! I very much enjoyed this book and was very happy to see I don't have to wait long for the next one in the series! if you like to laugh and enjoy zombies I highly recommend this book!

*I voluntarily read an ARC of this book*

I read this book straight through without putting it down. There is a lot of action happening in this book. I love Acadia and her friends. I am glad she finally put Deb in her place (Deb really needed it). I am sure that we haven't heard the last of her ex since he managed to escape again. I felt bad for those poor girls. I am anxious to see what awaits the survivors next.

Tracy Ellen Rocks!

I so love anything this woman writes! I've never even read a zombie book before her first one. I was hooked. I love the characters and the knowledge she puts into her book just keeps me from putting the book down. I would recommend this book to everyone. Don't let the genre put you off. If an author is good enough you would read anything they write about.

I recommend the book but you should read Acadia's Law first. I like that Tracy features a strong woman who isn't 20 something. Also even though it is about Zombies, it isn't gory.
