Great collection of work by Helicon West writers. Star Coulbrooke and company have done good work getting this together. I have to be honest--an essay of mine is in this anthology.

These aren't just poems and stories, some are old friends and like any old friend they need to be heard. So read them out loud. This collection is not just the writing of our community, it's the sounds of that community. I'm proud to be included in this collection but more honored by the opportunity to be woven into this narrative
