American Mail order brides of the West, historically inspired clean and wholesome short story romance.

From the Bestselling Author Kat Carson!

Spring, 1877 and someone is attempting to steal hearts in the wilds of Kansas!

This inspirational historical Wild West Romance series is about strong women on their quest to turn around their downtrodden situation, their triumphs of discovering real men and true love in the mid-and late 19th-century.

Meet Claudine, she was the product of an unfortunate sexual assault incident and because of that, her family has shunned her as an outcast.  She fell from a horse when she was younger onto a jaded rock because her mother didn’t keep a good eye on her which created a long scar on her pretty face.  Struggling to find love and acceptance, she puts her faith in God and heads clear across the country to meet a young, handsome and wealthy man in the Wild West.

On the first class train ride to Kansas, she encounters uppity passengers that look down on her and make her begin to doubt that she is doing the right thing.  In the midst of it all, their train is hijacked by a thief named Jesse and his gang, and since Claudine doesn’t have money or any valuable possessions to give, Jesse has other plans for her!

Will Claudine survive the train ride with these evil thieves?

To save her own life she must overcome her biggest life fear, can she do it?

Will Hilbert Bucannon fill that hole in her heart with unconditional love?

Grab your bonnet and hop on the train as we all take the ride with Claudine.  You will find that her sincere faith and the hope of unconditional love will shine through.  Her ability to put her trust in the one thing she had feared the most in her whole life and overcome obstacles through nothing but subtle coincidences to be both exciting and awe-inspiring.  The train is leaving its station, grab your suitcase and run, so be sure you are there on time!  I guarantee this is a ride you won’t want to miss!

....“a story of hope, fear, romance, suspense and true love.”....

While this book is part of a romance series, it can definitely be read as a standalone book.

Great story...

I have read many of Kat's stories, and have enjoyed them all. Once again she has done a great job of telling of her characters and their adventures and suspense. The story is one of romance and unrefined love.

The Lost Bride

Claudine never felt like a member of her family due to the circumstances of her birth. She feels that the only way she will find love is to be a mail order bride. Will she find love?
