This book has so many problems and I ended up rooting for Khin Khine. Everyone tries to paint her as bad mother, but nobody tried to understand her. She was ostracized by everyone including her own son and even her own house servants. When she left to work in France, everyone blamed her for leaving, but nobody tried to make her stay. When she came back to take her son to France and give him better education, she is again seen as a bad mother who tried to take the kid away from his poor father. Man, this guy has issues. He expected his wife to take care of his kid 24/7 and blamed her for attending classes, but would he have quit his job to do so and let his wife be the breadwinner.
I've read this book before and I've watched the movie, but I couldn't finish the book this time.

Conflicts within family are very sensitive cases and are very challenging to solve them. In this story-line, I found that parents tried to focus on their child with health specialists which is a good one to take a note. But they were insulting each other for being their child's abnormal behavior, which didn't help nothing to solve their child problem. Also, their reactive resolutions for their child problem is a good one but it was needed to improve proactive actions, which didn't found in their actions for their child.
These comments are my optimistic opinions. Thank you.
