Can love be as strong the second time around -- if the man in your life has already experienced his one great passion? It is a question sisters Meg and Amy ask themselves constantly, because they are second wives, plagued with alimony payments, glamorous ex-wives, resentful stepchildren, and intrusive memories.Beth Preston, a successful, single therapist, thinks her sisters must be crazy to marry men who have already sworn undying love to other women -- then divorced them. But when the youngest sister, Leo, falls in love with a married man twice her age, the Preston sisters rally to her side to protect her from a wife's rage and her own vulnerability.Set in Boston, this wise, witty, stay-up-all-night-turning-the-pages novel will resonate with everyone who has ever felt jealous, guilty, or betrayed by love -- and who hasn't?
This book was okay in a way.I loved it actually. It sparks a lot of emotions;joy, anger and curosity that make it more interesting! The storyline was great and all but for the characters,I loved Beth and my least favourite was the youngest of the sisters due to her decision and all. Anyway, overall, good book!
