I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, pain, grief, and heartbreak.

This is Caroline and Mason’s story. Caroline had the perfect life but when she loses her husband it all falls apart. Mason can see Caroline struggling and he tries to help her out but he holds a secret that could shatter her even further. Can he keep the secret or will he have to tell her? What happens when she finds out? Will it be Mason who told her or will she find out a different way and fall into a darkness that she is not sure she will come back from? Can Mason heal Caroline’s heart and teach her to love again? Or will the secrets his best friend kept keep him from her forever?

I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

So, I finished it, yay, but not yet satisfied cause the twist the angst and the WTF spewing from my mouth kind of the story had me pulling my hair. I'm glad and happy for Caroline and Mason and yeah not so much on the cheating bloody dead husband, sorry it's how I feel.

“Before I know it Mason has my face in his hands and his lips are on mine. I feel his tongue enter my mouth, slowly and seductively, and within seconds he has me moaning and wanting more.”

I gave this book 4.5 stars!

From beginning to end you will feel so many emotions. From love loss to finding happiness. You may need a tissue or two and definitely a glass a wine, heck maybe the whole bottle. Their are so many twist, turns and surprises that you don't see coming. I absolutely love Mason, Caroline and Tonya but could have strangle Evan. This book will leave you thinking about the men and women who serve and protect us each day.

Caroline is married to Evan. Evan and Mason are best friends and work on the police force. When Evan dies, Mason helps Caroline come back to the living and both of them start falling for each other. Mason still holding secrets that he does want Caroline to find out, but what happens when the past walks through the door! Can Mason and Caroline help each other or will they give up?

The author has truly wrote a heartwarming story and it flows flawlessly. I can't wait to read more from her.

This was my first book by this author, and wow! This book had me hooked from the beginning! I truly loved the development of the relationship between Mason & Caroline. Yes....getting involved with your late spouse's best friend is a taboo subject, but these two were absolutely perfect for one another. I loved how Mason pushed Caroline to finally start living and enjoying life again. I seriously laughed out loud when Caroline caught Mason watching her.....so funny, yet totally hot. I caught on to a few of the twists, but a few did catch me off guard. There were a few times where I felt like maybe there should have been someway to notify the reader that the last paragraph that was read didn't flow completely into the next time wise. Just wish there had been a slight break in formatting to know that there had been a slight jump in time frame. Regardless of that, I truly enjoyed the book and plan on reading more from this author!

A story with a lot if twists and turns on the way to true love!

Refresh, was not what I expected at all! It was so much, a story with all the feels. S Moose writes this story with great detail and makes you feel everything as the story progresses. She creates these likeable characters and you want to love them but they're not all as nice as they seem.
I truly ached for Caroline and my heart broke with all the truths that unfold through out this story.
One thing I really liked was Mason, he was an amazing friend and slowly breaks down Caroline's walks and faithfully stands by her and takes care of her.
This was a story if love, betrayal, sadness and hope with a lot if twist and turns along the way to happily ever after! I highly recommend thus book!

I will say this! S Moose did a wonderful job writing this story. She had me hooked as soon as I started reading it. I loved it from beginning to end. It is about this girl Caroline finding who she was after losing her husband. Her late husband’s best friend Mason came in and showed her how to live. Neither of them expecting to fall for each other. I cried towards the beginning and towards the end. If you love a good cry and love to see what happens I recommend this book. Great job S Moose!!

this book was given to me for an honest review

5 stars.

Starting a review for this book was difficult. I was so angry with the author at the beginning of this book. To mess with a fairy tale life, something so perfect and to tear it apart, I wanted to throw the book and ask why. Why would you want to destroy a love that seemed so perfect that nothing could mess with it. So after ten minutes I picked up my kindle again and thought okay there has to be a reasonable explanation on why you would destroy peoples lives. And there was. Life is never perfect. People are imperfect, they have faults, they make mistakes, and they lie. You trust love, you trust that one person will be yours and only yours and there are no secrets. So no the author didn't destroy these characters they did because they are human. Caroline and Evan were high school sweet hearts. They loved each other since school and did everything together. Evan became a police officer and Caroline a teacher. They were living a fairy tale. So what happens when a case can destroy a relationship and secrets get hidden before they can be let into the light. Evan in my opinion was a good guy, but just did the wrong things. He hurt people that should never been hurt, but in the end I feel that he paid too much for his mistakes. Caroline, I love her she is the one that was completely real through out the whole book, she is pure and when things happen she is destroyed. Nine months. Life didn't go as plan and nine months Caroline is just not surviving. I do have to tell you I can't tell you what happens and the reason is, that you would not get the same intensity I did with when I opened the pages of this book. Mason comes back from an undercover job and sees Caroline is not progressing so he moves in and decides to help. He's a protector, he wants to help where he can, but the problem is he is holding secrets about Evan, and not only that the case he's working on can't be discussed with Caroline because he doesn't want her to know. So what happens when the best friend moves in to help Caroline live again and he can't even be as honest with her as he wants to be.

There is so much to this story that I can't even tell you and it is so frustrating. I never give you more than you should know before reading the book, but I have to tell you it is not what you are going to expect. It will make you want to throw the book and not want to pick it back up. You are going to cry, because it is going to hurt to read some of the pages. You are going to pull for these characters to get through what they need to get through. You are going to want to reach the end, because when all those pieces fall together, you realize this book was more than a book, it was people's lives. Lives although they are in a book, it could happen. Then you are going to want to kill the author because you just want more. You want more of what you have read, you want to be in their lives longer than the hours you have read this book.

This book reminds you if you go into a relationship with blinders, you will miss what is going on around you. If you don't look right in front of you, you will miss the best things, and life goes on. You just have to find a way to work through it all, It might take days, months, or years, but eventually you find that one thing, person you need and you will cherish it till you die.

There was so much more than just romance going on in this book, it had a twist of suspense and the merest intimation of something a little taboo. Of all the component parts it is the suspense that will tear down your guard, it will hit you when you least expect it and leave you sitting mouth agape.
Caroline lost the love of her life when her police officer husband died. I felt like I almost mourned with her at the loss of her husband, she was beyond bereft and consumed completely with the grief of knowing the man that told her he would never leave has done just that and that this time he is never coming back. But when she found out that everything she thought she knew was a lie, I could almost hear and feel her heart shatter through my kindle. How on earth did it come to that?
How could she ever pick up the pieces of her heart as it crumbled, emotionally she was left struggling with the enormity of the whole situation and coming out the other side in one piece, well that wasn’t a done deal!
Life as she has known it has come to an abrupt halt and adjusting to her new reality was going to take both time and support.
Mason was friends with both Caroline and her husband, he counted him as his best friend but that didn’t mean that he liked having to keep his secrets, especially since his relationship with Caroline went all the way back to high school. But he couldn’t see her fall apart, once she knew the truth, watching her decimation was too much for him he had to be there for her, after all she has stood by his side every single time he has needed her…now it was his turn to return the kindness.
But would he be able to keep his own demons at bay?
Could Mason be just her friend or would the fact that he has loved her longer than he would ever admit bet too much to take?
The feeling, the depth of emotion that the author was able to inject into the story was simply staggering, she allowed the characters the opportunity to express themselves, to vocalise what they were feeling and more importantly why, even if it was to themselves. I liked the sense of normalcy that Mason’s personality brought to a difficult situation and it was beautifully written, the sort of jesting and light-heartedness that can only be found between two people who a genuinely comfortable in each other’s company, it wasn’t strained, it wasn’t over the top it was fun, it was sensitive and it was honest.
He loved to flirt, whether he meant it or not it made for very interesting conversations between the two of them and brought a much needed smile to my face.
This will take your emotions and give them a thorough work out so be prepared!

Caroline thought her marriage was solid, but little did she know she was living part of a lie, one that would cost her everything. Losing her husband was excruciating, but learning that he was leading a double life was almost more than she could bare. All that time she thought they had the perfect marriage, but that thought couldn't have been farther from the truth... now she's left to pick up the pieces on her own and live a future she always thought she would be sharing with him. The pain is almost unbearable, and she feels herself slipping away, and a depression settling in... but lucky for her she has someone else in her life who can't bare to see her dwindle away... her husband best friend Mason. The minute Mason sees her staggering down the tortuous path he knows he needs to intervene, and also knows there's no way he's letting her go through this on her own... he's determined to pick up the pieces and mend her broken heart... and find his friend again.

Mason has been a part of Caroline and Evans lives for years, and he's witnessed things he would have rather not been privy to, but unfortunately he was... and he's harbored the painful secrets for years full well knowing they would completely destroy Caroline. So, he does his duty to his buddy and keeps his shameful secrets, not liking a second of it, but what else could he do... there was no way he could be the one to tell her. What he never expected was for her to find out on her own... watching it completely annihilate her was almost more than he could bare. But it ignited a fire in him to fix what his best friend broke, and somewhere along the way it fixed him too... and made him realize just how much he cared about Caroline. Starting something with her now could be disastrous, but there's no way he can walk away from her now, especially knowing how deep his feelings run for her...

This was my introduction to author S. Moose, and I have to say it left a indelible first impression. This touching story captivated my every thought, invaded my heart, and had me literally feeling the pain of their loss. It really struck a cord with me, and drew me right into the character's lives, which made it really hard for me to put this book down, it was so addictive!. The story was intense, passionate, thought-provoking, and I truly enjoyed devouring every last word of it!! It was a moving story of loss, hope, and love, and I highly recommend you give it a chance. I truly enjoyed it, and I think you will too!!

Refresh by S. Moose is an emotional, heartbreaking, story of hope and renewal after a devastating loss…a refresh if you will. This was a nice surprise for me from a new to me author.

We meet Evan, Caroline and Mason. Evan and Caroline met in high school and never looked back. Their lives were perfect. High school sweethearts that have built a life together. From the outside looking in they were the perfect couple with their entire future ahead of them. Until they didn’t.

After suffering a devastating loss, Caroline has withdrawn from life. Living in her memories and letting the pain overtake her, she does not know how to move on. Or if she even wants too. Her entire world was taken from her. How does one overcome that kind of loss?

Mason, Evan and Caroline have been the best of friends for as long as they can remember. They are always there for each and support each other. And now Mason lost one of his best friends and does not know how to cope. Unable to deal with his own pain, he pulls away from his other best friend.

Then one-day Mason realizes he is losing his remaining best friend in more ways than one. Before it is too late, he decides to step in. But is it too late?

Together Caroline and Mason begin to pick up the pieces of their lives. Being able to share their grief, they can begin to move forward. But as they begin to heal, they begin to see each other in a different light. One they never expected.

Can Caroline move past her pain and loss to see the possibilities in front of her? Will Mason’s secret destroy what they are starting to build? In the end, will outside factors come between them? So much standing in their way, but sometimes two people find just what they needed where they least expect it.

A touching, emotional story that shows how grief can destroy you, but also a story of how to rebuild after devastating loss.

I give Refresh by S. Moose 4 stars. Happy reading!

I devoured this book in a matter of hours - should I have been cleaning - YUP - do I care - NOPE !!!! I always enjoy the work of this author. It tends to have a bit of all things I love - drama , angst , heartache , hotness and love. Is it perfect - NO , is it an escape from reality - YES !!

This story starts out and you just know there is going to be some kind of love triangle drama , then you find out what the guys do for work and you almost know immediately what will happen. Once we suffer our first heartache it seems the story is shifted to the possibilities of starting over , new love , letting go , moving on etc etc. Of course as we get wrapped up in that we get slammed with a couple of major twists and believe it or not more heartache. It is a bumpy ride but a fast paced read that left me feeling happy and although I had a few questions I was pleased with the ending.

Evan and Caroline were high school sweethearts , they had it all and are living the HEA. Evan's job puts a lot of strain on their marriage BUT the thing about Caroline that I love is that she is there for her man regardless of it. She may have doubts , fears and even get pissed BUT she never lets him down. Caroline may not be this bad a$$ chick with an attitude BUT she is one of my faves. She just has this way about her. She lets her life and troubles get the best of her BUT she pulls herself out and accepts the help of friends when she needs it. Mason has been best friends with Evan and Caroline since they started. He is amazing and seems to be a voice of reason for many. Between the job , the case and the outcome he is lost as well. Things between Mason and Caroline change but is it for the better? Will the twists and turns ruin the progress Caroline has made , will Mason be able to explain ?How will all these unanswered questions and problems shift the paths of everyone we have met ??

It takes a lot of talent to create characters that hold true to the reality of loss and heartbreak. Grief is a huge and complex process, and I really respect the way that Moose dealt with those aspects in this novel. Several of my family members work for law enforcement, and the danger they face on a daily basis is something the public doesn’t always understand. This novel, though, brought that truth to light and even went a step further, letting readers into the world of the friends, family members, and loved ones who worry about these officers every day. More than that, though, Moose took readers on the laborious journey of hurt and healing.

Realism is something I really value in novels, and there’s not much that throws me off more than a book that rushes into things without reason. I absolutely loved the buildup of the relationship between Caroline and Mason. Their back and forth was perfectly characteristic of a relationship after loss, as well as the sort of relationship that might develop between two people who have been friends for as long as they have. There were a couple of moments that were just a little cheesy in the same way that Hallmark movies tend to be, but that’s okay. I’ve mentioned before that I tend to be addicted to these movies and that sort of thing doesn’t totally derail me when I’m reading a book. (Admittedly, I did stop and giggle once and then re-read to make sure it actually said what I thought, but giggling isn’t bad. Giggling can be giddy and that works for love stories.)

As much as I enjoy romance novels, the fact that there was a suspenseful and action packed storyline that went beyond that in this novel highly appealed to me. This part of the story surprised me a number of times, and I was delighted by twists and turns I hadn’t expected. It was an excellent story and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

Refresh by Author S. Moose is a romantic suspense novel filled with twist and turn that will make your mouth hit the floor.

In this book, we meet some really strong characters. Caroline thought she had it all. The perfect new house, the perfect husband , and the perfect marriage but when her life gets turned upside down and she finds out that her whole life is nothing but a huge lie. It is more that she can handle emotionally and psychologically. Losing her husband shatters her but finding out the truth might kill her.

“You’re gone. You lied and broke your promise. You’re never coming home… Now I’m Alone.” – Caroline

Mason is Caroline’s husbands best friend and when he sees her struggling emotionally he can’t help but do whatever he can to help her through this difficult time in her life. To help heal her heart. Mason has secrets of his own. Due to the fact he has been friends with both of them for a long time, he has seen more than he ever cared too. He hates himself for keeping his best friend secrets because it’s a hard place to be when both parties are your friends and knowing if he told Caroline the damage it would do to her. But unfortunately life doesn’t work that way and she found out and watching Caroline slip into darkness It's almost too much for him. Will Mason be able to fix the damage his best friend and finally be with the woman he has secretly always loved?
Wow, this was one emotional read and I loved every minute of. The character was so well written that every emotion, sadness, the anger I felt. If you love books that are not just romance but emotional. Books that make you cry or throw you kindle across the room this is the book for you. I can’t wait to read the next book. Thank you, S. Moore, for the amazing read.

4 Stars!

Caroline's situation is one that I can relate to. Being married to a police officer is not easy. Though I did not go through the lost that she did, I can understand the worries of my husband coming home safely, as well as the long work hours. It takes a special person to choose that life to begin with, but for her to choose it twice, truly shows her strength.

Mason and Caroline have been best friends since high school. Mason has always been there for her and continues to be there for her through her hard times. When Mason needs Caroline the most, she's right there by his side and never gives up on him.

I liked Mason's personality. Yes, he could be serious when he needed to be, but when it was time to joke around, he knew how to have fun. He also liked giving Caroline a hard time. He never let a chance slip by without teasing her. One of my favorite parts was the cake batter scene that was mixed with the sexual innuendo..

“Why don’t you come try my batter?” He winks. “I’ve heard it’s extra sweet and addicting. Just stick your fingers into the bowl and put your fingers in your mouth. Swirl your tongue around the moist batter. Trust me you’ll get addicted.”

I'm pretty sure Mason can be pretty addicting! Especially in uniform. Everyone likes a man in uniform!

Refresh really did give readers a little of everything. There was love, loss, forgiveness, friendship, laughter, and even some suspense! Towards the end, I wasn't sure what was going to happen. It made me swoon and it also brought me to the edge of my seat! All around a great story.

Reading this book during the time of struggles we are having with our police force may hit home to many people and couldn't have come at a better time to read a story that has a more positive ending in this cruel world. I gotta say I loved the police poem in the beginning of the book.
Caroline, Mason and Evan knew each other since high school and Evan you could say got dibs on her in high school. They became high school sweethearts and soul mates. Well I just about dropped the darn kindle reading a twist in this story. I gasped so loud when I read this. OH, don't get me wrong I loved Evan and Mason, but if I had to choose a team it was TEAM MASON all the way. Oh, I wish I could say more, but you aren't getting spoilers from me.
Caroline struggled with the death of Evan for almost a year until, Mason finally came to a point where while he was still hurting from the loss of his BF and a partner on the squad, he knew that he needed to be there for Care (as he called her) as Evan would have wanted.
It took much insight from Mason's dad and as you will see the apple didn't fall far from the tree when it came from Mason and his dad.
I think that both Care and Mason got a shot at a Refresh (re-do) and that although they lost a loved one who was close to them that in the end they were truly meant to be with each other and were a more compatible soul mate. Yes, you can have more than one in a lifetime. I think Evan while her first soul mate in this story showed that Mason in the end was the truest soul mate for her. Ending of this book was right on key. You will laugh, cry, gasp and wanna scream all in one sitting with this book.

This is a book that will give you all of the feels. I read it all in one sitting and I absolutely could not get enough.

Evan, Caroline and Mason were best friends from high school on. Evan and Caroline were always a couple and Mason was always their best friend. When Evan is tragically killed, Caroline can't pull her life back together. The pain is too much. Mason moves in to help Caroline deal with her grief and try to move on with her life. He never expected for them to cross a line into love. Mason has always been the protector and wants to take care of everyone. When he starts to feel more for his best friend, he isn't sure it's a line they can cross, but he knows that Caroline is everything to him.

This story is beautifully told. Caroline grieves and almost can't go on living without Evan. Just when she starts to fall for Mason, she learns that Evan had committed the ultimate betrayal and Mason knew about it. How do you go through not only losing the love of your life, but then find out that the love of your life isn't who you thought they were? And now the person you have turned to and are falling for has known all along?

There are all sorts of feelings in this book, loss, betrayal, love. You will be on an emotional rollercoaster as well as on the edge of your seat as to what is happening on the police force and their case. I loved how the plot played out. My only small complaint is I would have loved more details during the late chapters as the police case was playing out. Otherwise, I thought this was well written and I loved the characters. I have fallen in love with Caroline and Mason.

I'm honored to have been introduced to S. Moose's books a little over two years ago. The one thing about her books is its never ever the same. I love that about her writing I always get something new.

This story has many characters that have strong supporting rolls, however it centers around Evan who left Caroline a widow after a hit was carried out on his life. Mason not only his police partner but also his best friend since childhood who went into the police academy together after graduating Highschool. Then we have Evans wife Caroline and also best friends with Mason. Evan and Caroline where Highschool sweethearts and then married. Working a very dangerous case is what takes Evan away from everyone who loves him and Caroline basically stops living her life. Mason decides he is going to try and help her live again so he moves in with her.

This is a love story that is created from friendship, loyalty and the need to make each other live again. They both lost someone they loved unconditionally. Mason is so easy to love, he's strong, loyal, protective and is always putting others first. There are wonderful twists and turns in this book and I'm personally so grateful I was gifted a copy by the author it was such a good book. 5 Stars!

S. Moose is one of my absolute favorite authors. Whenever her new releases come, I am one of the first in line to nab up my copy. This author always guarantees tons of feels, lots of steam, broken characters, and happy endings. Sure the battles to get there are epic but each decision and moment are always worth it by the time I get to the end.

Refresh was a beautifully heartbreaking story about loss, love, forgiveness, healing and second chances. I went on an emotional roller coaster with this story... hitting all of my highs and lows before this book was over. S. Moose is a brilliant author.. time and time again she reminds me why I keep coming back for her words, but Refresh is my new favorite.

This is the journey that Caroline and Mason take. It is not easy. They will experience a lot. You will feel their grief, pain, and anger. They will battle hurdles, discover secrets, and find hidden truths that didn't exist. But through all of it, they will find healing and love. Their happy ending may not have been easy but it was worth.. every single moment.

I highly recommend this book.

You know that as soon as I heard that S Moose was releasing a new book that I had to get my hands on it! And Refresh was such an amazing, heartbreaking friends to lovers story. It don't always make for easy reading but I was glued to the pages.

Caroline and Mason have been friends forever. Best Friends. But there was another person who also existed in that best friend bubble with them. Caroline's husband, Evan. Their lives are thrown into upheaval after one perfect night, that Evan doesn't come back from. Mason and Caroline are both grieving hard for Evan... but Caroline has been inconsolable. Evan steps in to help her shoulder the burden of grief.

These are two absolutely broken souls. And as they come together to heal you can feel the sexual tension between them grow. It is a palpable living thing. But both fight it as hard as they can, neither feeling it is proper. Together they will take you on a roller coaster of emotions - their banter will make you laugh, their tension will make you hot, their grief will gut you.... and as they heal so will you.

This is another winner from S Moose. I definitely recommend it - especially if you are looking for a book with feels!

I want to start off by saying that based on the description, I thought I would love this book. I knew that there was going to be a broad range of emotion since you know that the main character has experienced an unexpected loss.

I did like the multiple POV in the story. It gave insight into the three characters. I was totally drawn in during the prologue and the first chapter.

I rarely start a book that I don't finish but, unfortunately, I couldn’t finish this book. Based on other reviews, I know that I’m in the minority and I think that this just wasn’t the book for me. Evan was made to be such an unlikeable character and I couldn’t get past how disappointed I was in his character. I’ve read other books where the two main characters get together after the loss of someone special to both of them and while part of you wishes the character who died had made it, you also root for the two currently in the relationship because they are learning to move on. That didn’t happen in this book for me. I finally gave up around 30%.

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

I am not going to lie. I struggled to read this book, to the point I ended up skimming the last thirty percent of the book. I didn’t like the writing style. I found the author seemed very repetitive about themes in the book and kept repeating the same thing, all the time. The characters seemed childish in some respects and seemed to jump emotionally. For example, Caroline was angry with Tonya regarding something she said but then minutes later she was agreeing with her and laughing so hard she was crying.
I felt like bits were added to fill the story but no backstory was given, such as when it was being explained about how special Evan was to his parents because they were told they couldn’t have children after their first child and they would likely miscarry if they were to try for another. There was no mention of the fact they had trouble before their first child or that they had trouble during the first pregnancy. It just seemed like it was added to make for a good story.

WOW! In one word this book is EMOTIONAL!!!! WOW! I can’t stop thinking WOW!

It’s a sweet book about two high school sweethearts in love. They work hard and love grand and everything is wonderful. We get to tag along with them and be apart of the exciting and beautiful life they are making.

This book will shock you. This book will make you cry. This book will take you through all the possible emotions you can ever have. But its so amazingly wonderfully written that you love it and even will say WOW at the end because it’s so so good as a whole. S. Moose has hit this one out of the park - it’s just seriously freaking amazing!!!!

I have to say I enjoy pretty much every book I read. But once in a while a book comes along that you just can’t get out of your head and you get that “book hangover” that’s sad and wonderful at the same time. Sad because you don’t want the book to ever end but wonderful because it’s left you feeling high in that emotional feeling you can only get with an amazing book!!!

Definitely read this book!!!!!! You will not be sorry!!!

Very Highly Recommend!!!!

✨ARC received in exchange for an honest Review from the Author and Enticing Journey, Give Me Books and Southern Belle Promotions.✨

This was another amazingly emotional read from S Moose. All the emotions that have been written into the book really deep through the pages, you really feel the sadness, loss, anger, forgiveness, healing and the second chance at love.

Caroline and Mason may get their happy ending but the twists and turns, along with the hurdles to get there are worth every moment.

Caroline, Evan and Mason were best friends from high school, caroline and Evan were a couple with Mason as their best friend. Evan is tragically killed and Mason moves in with Caroline to help her with her grief and to move on and heal. Neither next expected their feelings to change.

Secrets and Lies are revealed and she needs to re-evaluate what she really knew about Evan and their relationship. You feel every emotion along with her. Tissues will be needed!!!

Refresh by S. Moose is a powerful love story. Caroline Spencer married her high school sweetheart, Evan. Being a cop’s wife, she spends many nights in fear that he won’t come back to her. When Caroline’s fears become a reality right in front of her eyes, her world would never be the same. In the months that follow the death of her husband, Caroline becomes consumed with grief, guilt, and anger. She knew Evan kept things from her because of his job, but she always felt there was something more. Something that would destroy their perfect life.

Mason Ryan was Evan and Caroline’s best friend since high school. Mason and Evan were brothers together at the police department. He has always been Care’s support, her person to lean on. But after Evan’s death, he doesn’t know how to help her.

Eventually Caroline and Mason find their way back to each other and start to heal together. Their friendship allows them to find love again. Until Evan’s secrets threaten to tear their world apart again.

Highly recommend this beautiful love story.
