This was an easy read- interviews with the cast, background of episodes- in short, everything a Trekkie needs to get more from the series.

I enjoyed the behind the scenes interviews, particularly the explanation as to why Denise Crosby (who played Lt. Tasha Yar) asked to be released from the show, why she regretted it after they killed her character off and how she was able to return as a recurring guest star. The commentary even gave some information about where the novels took the characters after the show and the movies ended.

The only bad thing about this book is that it raises the bar for the other Star Trek books!

Some nice interviews with the TNG cast. It does kinda become an episode list for a chunk of it.
