When thinking with your heart and not using your head, you fall victim to things that are clearly a task that you can't handle. This book was good didn't know why China felt like Chino would change and to find out what she did by her closest friend was terrible . I wish they wouldn't have killed off so many main characters because I needed to more from this who had died. I'm getting ready to read book 2

Wow Man came to his family rescue once again
I knew Jasmine wasn't dead but i was glad Man was there to save E from her crazy ass i just hated tht she got her brother caught up in her drama. Now E & China can get on with their married lives and not have to worry bout Jasmine crazy ass again. This author did an excellent. job writing this series, so yes i'll be reading more books by this author.

This book had me holding onto the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I had heart palpitations and all with this book. The characters was so real to me that it felt like I was watching a movie on the big screen. The character China was a ride or die chick that was down for whatever,and the things that she had to endure made me wonder just how much more is this girl going to take before enough is enough and walk away. The secrets and betrayal in this book was to deep for more. It brought emotion up in me that made me scream at the book like the characters could here me. This story pulls all your emotions out and gives you a great view of life, and how we let our circumstances drag his into some messed up situation and jeopardize everyone around .
The ending, The ending OMG what kind I say you must read to see and feel what I am saying..

I read this story in about 6 hours. It was definitely captivating and page turning. I have to admit it was also refreshing to read a well written story without many noticeable typos. China, Q, Jewels & Ryder has been friends forever, but a urban novel would not be good unless it has has sex, lies and videotape. LOL There is a clear development in the characters throughout the story, which keeps you interested in seeing what will happen next.
It was an extremely good read and I am already reading Silent Cries 2 and half way through.

China was so hardcore but she let Chino run her life. The family is connected in Brooklyn but she doesn't tell anyone about chino's abuse because she's suddenly in love with him. Yeah ok. Worse part was when she said she knows she can beat him physically. Well, duh if you can beat him physically why would you let him kidnap, humiliate, pummel you whenever he feels like it. Just doesn't make sense. Q's situation made slightly more sense but only slightly. Lots of drama but yet another "pimp" tale.

What a book!! MUST READ !!
Omg i knew there was something up when i was reading the and the tragedies that happened. I love this series everyone must read it !! Some people probably don't know this part exist because it doesn't show up with the other 6 as a series unless you put it in the search, hopefully that can be fixed. But i have to say this had some extreme good twists. I just loved all of it. I was so excited with the ending. Sonovia Alexander has done it once again. Thanks for such good books.

Walking into poles...
I could not put my device down, I was walking into EVERYTHING. I guess you have to live the life to related to the story. No one can change where they are from but we can enhance and embrace what we learn from it. This story touch so many avenues not only of my life but some of family lives as well... I can't wait to read the sequel.
Sometimes the "Silent Cries" never ends.....rest my child....

Why did China felt she had to follow in anyone's footstep. We all have and will overcome. Sorry for the tragedy that she had to struggle through but I feel she will make it. Her girls are by her side but will all stick around when secrets are revealed...can't wait for part 2...oh :-) no more wait it dropped today...lol

I liked this e-book because it was fast paced and the author did a great job of keeping the story flowing. There were some grammatical errors that really bothered me but it was tolerable. I would read the next in the series. I also felt like the brothers were much more interesting than the sisters.

VERY GOOD
If you enjoy reading urban books then this is a good book to read. It's filled with decisions of life, love, and loyalty. I love how the family is there for each other. I would recommend this book to others who enjoy urban novels. I plan on reading the other books in this series and other books by this author!

Definitely not a page turner
This book was absolutely a drag, and highly boring . The characters were all over the place, and the supposedly "climax" was confusing. The beginning had a real good hook, but as you get deeper into the book the plot just scatters. 2 stars for effort .. At least you tried .

Wow just wow
This book once again has not disappointed me. I love this series and can not wait to finish reading the other books. I hope Dee made it and that the family makes it out alive. It's sad what happened to Jewels but I hate to say she deserved what she got for being a disloyal friend.

I didn't want to review it because i don't like giving bad reviews, but I rathed give a bad review than no review. This book is bad. You can either be a warrior or a victim, you can't be both. I couldn't get past chapter three, it was that stupid to me.
