Lifelong rivals … until their love for the same woman forced them to become something more.
Jake Steel and Dylan Frost have been bitter rivals their whole lives, and now, as CEOs of competing companies, they war over clients, real estate and women. It’s safe to say they hate each other with a burning passion.
But sometimes a smoldering flame just needs a spark.
Enter Rose Holloway, fledgling event planner. Burned by love and life, Rose’s only focus these days is on growing her new business. Working for either Jake or Dylan would be a miracle — working for both of them would be a dream come true.
But Jake and Dylan refuse to share, even when it comes to event planners, and not even for the sake of their charity galas. So they make a bet — whoever can bed the feisty redhead first wins the pleasure of her services.
One Rose. Two rivals.
The bet should have been simple — one winner, one loser. Instead, sparks fly between the three of them, and a wild night of unexpected passion sets them all on a course that will change their lives forever.
Two Rivals is a standalone steamy MMF bisexual menage romance with explicit scenes of MF, MM and MMF. HEA guaranteed.
This was an okay MMF story and it did keep me pretty interested. I wish it was longer, though, so that the relationship with Jake and Dylan didn't seem so rushed. Both of them wanted Rose and liked her, but they had a struggle with accepting that they wanted each other. It just never got resolved as much as I wanted it to be. One moment Dylan wasn't okay with his feelings and the next he was in love with both Jake and Rose? Basically it was just too rushed, and there was even a moment where I felt like there was a big hole in the story and we were missing parts of Jake and Rose before they went back to Dylan. The hotness of the story saved it from being a total loss, though.
In the beginning both heroes were immature, manipulative and A-holes. Come on, because of their more than a decade old rivalry they made a bet about bedding heroine! Like how freaking immature is that? Heroine wasn’t much better. I felt really uncomfortable reading that part were they both try to seduce her. And the funny thing is heroine didn’t mind that at all.
The cons are it’s fast paced, had my attention throughout and a good last part. That’s it. Safe.
This is a great book just wished it was longer. Rose is a event planner who is hired by both Jake and Dylan. Jake and Dylan have been rivals since they were kids. The guys both want Rose and she wants them but she just got out of a relationship and she just want to get her business off the ground. Rose comes up with a way to give the guys what they want but she just doesn't know how to make them get along. Rose sees the problem with them they want each other. The sex is mostly m/f/m with a few bj and some oral and one m/m. I think I was a great book for it to be her first book. Just wish we could have more with Jake and Dylan.
This was my first book by Elle Everton but it won't be my last. Dylan and Jake have been rivals since school /college but both have lived with father's who made them behave that way without realising how alike they are. Rose wants to build her business as an event manager and meets with both business men but both want the same venue in the same day. Rose wants them to work together on a joint event but they place a bet to get the venue. After a steamy session with both men, Dylan gets Rose alone, winning the bet but he let's slip to Rose about the bet leaving her feeling hurt so she walks away from both men. When she needs help Jake ends up being her knight in shining armour and she realises she overreacted but Dylan has withdrawn. I really liked that he didn't come running back because they asked.
There are some hot scenes with this trio especially in the restaurant bathroom.
Not my favorite from Elle. I personally felt the chemistry was lacking with this threesome and I felt more warmth from Marco. I would have liked a more personal connection between them rather than just the desperation to connect physically again. I think the more emotional the connection the hotter the physical is. Also the lads, despite their longtime differences which remained largely unresolved, became comfortable with each other a bit too quickly.
It’s not that I didn’t like it, it’s that I didn’t BUY any of it. Like… I just didn’t buy anything that occurs. Everything in this story happened because it needed to happen and it seemed forced and why do they like each other all of the sudden. They had like one deep conversation about their dead dads and suddenly they wanna fuck each other??? Hmmm, you’re gonna have to work a little harder to convince me hun. Don’t be lazy. Come on now.
Easy read, saucy romance with pinches of hot romping
This book was ok. The story line was engaging and the characters likeable.
As an observation, I recently read 'Two Bosses' by EE. This is also a good book, I just felt that there are elements of repetition between the stories, particularly the sex and the coming together of the 'threesome'.
I wanted to give this book a whole 5 stars but can only award 4.5 there were quite a few proofreader editing errors and I needed just a little more substance to the relationship development between the main characters, but still a great read.
We'll this was one hell of story. Two rivals who were secretly hot for one another? Well dang, how crazy. And only one woman was able to bring them together. Sometimes a bet about sex can work out for the competitor's.
This is the first MMF book I've read, so not sure how it stacks up to others, but I found the characters to be quite engaging. The struggle for Dylan to accept his part in the relationship was believable. Quite a steamy read.
Donno what is my issue with menage I love it, especially when there is a M/M action involved. This isn't the 1st book I read for Elle I never give the books more than 1 🌟 but I keep reading those books. They are all almost the same. No depth and too much focus on turmoil on being 3 in a relationship. Always 2 are OK and 1 is not. Sex scenes bareback and no lubes (ouch). M/M usually 1 bisexual or more relaxed with sexuality and other not.
But STILL i read them all and will probably read the others written by author.
I enjoyed this book, but I hate when the couples don’t get together until the last few chapters of the book. The author always rushes the relationship and leaves out all of the details, just to finish the book!
Had potential. The story line was good, but the end felt rushed. The beginning was slow going and there were times when the situation was just unbelievable. Overall it was ok, but definitely could have been better
I've read a lot of books that have mm in it and this one just totally missed the mark for me. For two guys exploring it for the first time it seemed way too disconnected and rough? Like, there was no prep nothing. Both MMCs were also very, very immature. Just not for me!
While I loved this story there needed to be more after Dylan came to his senses. I felt like it was going to be longer because it was like only halfway through. It wrapped up too quickly but really enjoyed it
The slow build of anticipation is what makes this romance outstanding. Love, friendship, and two hot alpha men are pure, unadulterated fantasy and hot, hot sex.
