Purchased in 1992 for my Sydney born wife. Read these poems and it is a variable collection, reflecting the date of authorship of some (150 years) and the inevitable variability in style and structure. Those from 1950s onwards were more appealing but too few of these poems evoked my personal memories of this amazing diverse city and that was disappointing.
