This fantastic story is book two in The Ryan's series and it features Sophie Ryan and Jonathan O'Shea. I LOVE the Ryan family! What a great bunch of people! I love the twist this author put on Jonathan's recovery. It was different from almost every physically and mentally injured vet story I've ever read. I, as a reader having never personally experienced anything in this book, am not saying it's better, only that it's different and a nice change of pace for the situation. Jonathan and Sophie's love is a once in a lifetime love and seeing those two uniformed officers walk in with news that she never wanted to hear was tragic and heartbreaking.
I absolutely adored Declan in book one and this book is just as amazing. So happy to see returning characters. Definitely looking forward to book 3.
