Big Blue

Rate this book
When an accidentally detonated nuke from a stolen submarine releases something never before seen, Sea Hawk pilot Lieutenant Steve Pomerantz is sent to investigate. He finds a blue-green monster ten times the size of the largest Tyrannosaurus Rex and seemingly impervious to every weapon in mankind's arsenal.

Earthquakes in the South Pacific, at a location dubbed as the most remote spot on Earth, raise tsunamis all along the West Coast. Air Force Captain Jamal White, pilot of a C-130 Hercules is pulled off of search and rescue duties to ferry two scientists to investigate. What they find is a new continent arisen from the deep. And on that continent something stirs, bringing terror and madness in its wake.

Two monsters, one from the frozen North Atlantic, one from the remote South Pacific, on a collision course with the survival of mankind hanging in the balance.

Big Blue Angel ?

I loved the concept of the book . I'm a big fan of the good monster fighting the bad monster and as a retired military member I thought the services were well represented . I am also a Christian so the concept of help from GOD and Jesus was very appealing . The action is intense and the book moved right along . I'm not giving 5 stars because of the need for some good editing . I was able to ignore most of the editing mistakes and enjoy the story but every now and then I had to go back through a paragraph to get the meaning . I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys watching action movies and reading fantasy . It's also for anyone who enjoys all of the Godzilla movies when he saves the world .

Huh?

This book started off pretty good but started to really drag. Lost the initial excitement and I just wanted it to end. And when it ended, I went "huh?". There had to be more but the ending came and the battle between Kaiju was this side of anti climatic. And by the way, Godzilla is GREEN, so Blue was alright. Gotta read the book to know what I mean. Or not. The choice is yours.

A MONSTER TALE IT IS...

Hello, this story is a huge monster fight. The author took a little tojo and a little Lovecraft, changed just enough to not get in trouble, and went with it. The monsters only fight for about the last 30 or so pages in the story. Read better, read worse. Thanks.
