Aw. Creo que fue un buen cierre de serie. Me gustó muchísimo como la relación de Devin y Houston fue creciendo y Jordan, Jordan fue un amor, me hubiese gustado ver más de él.

This was the 6th and last book in "The Remus Brothers" series. Devin's life has been turned upside down first he gets his girlfriend pregnant at 16 before the realized that he is gay then she runs off leaving his son with him then his mother's boyfriend tries to have sex with him and when he tells her she blames him and when he calls the police the man a hyena-shifter goes to jail but his son Jordan is taken away from him. Without graduating he had a hard time finding a job so he begins to work the street to pay for food and a place to stay until he is kidnapped by Bowman the hyena- shifter that kidnapped Brandon. Devin his held and drugged for two weeks before he is rescued by the Remus brothers. Devin has a hard time believing that they don't want anything from him and comes on to everyone. Houston Remus is the last brother to find his mate Houston is looking to opening his own business a restaurant he is a really good cook, but having his mate distrust him is giving him problems he knows that Devin is hiding something so he follows him where Devin is watching kids play. When Devin goes to see his social worker she tells him what he needs to do and he decides to ask for help. Turns out the man who went to prison has escaped and he wants to kill him and on top of that the man is her son. When Devin and Houston mate and go to see her she helps him by giving him his son. This was a pretty good read but felt that Brandon should have at least talked to Devin although Devin didn't go thru what Brandon did with the drugs. I really liked his son Jordan he was 4 and like all four year olds he talked a lot and knew how to work a tablet. This was the last book in a really good series the sex scenes were good and Devin learned that he was not on his own anymore he had a family with a mate a son and a bear clan for brothers and Houston got a mate and a cub and his parents got a grand cub. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.

I couldn't wait until Amazon acquired this final book of the Remus Brothers series on its site. So I got it from the publisher, Siren. Houston's mate was such an enigma that no one could figure out why he behaved so erratically. Cross knew some of Devin's secrets since he was instrumental and kept his promise to rescue Devin & the other men being trafficked by the Hyena, Bowman, in the fifth book of the series, CROSS.
Even then Devin showed how much he distrusted others, even someone trying to help him.

This distrust continued into the Remus Brothers home. In the world Devin had lived in no one did anything without an ulterior motive. He did not believe that the Remus Brothers and their mates weren't out to get what they could from him. Plentiful food wasn't free and definitely not a place to sleep, nor hot showers to bathe in.

The lack of trust really bothered Houston. He'd been nothing but kind to the cute young man. The heart of the story is, how Houston (and the rest of the Remus family) slowly, with setbacks gets past Devin's initially impenetrable walls. There are wonderful and sad surprises, but ultimately there is a HEA. Though as in the other books in this series there's violence, mostly in defence of mates and eradication of the scourge of drugs.

I will miss the Remus Brothers, but hope to see them in future Brac Pack/Village universe stories.

Devin character has so many flaws yang menurut ku itu kurang asik dan membuat buku ini sangat tidak enak dibaca. Punya anak, ku kira gara-gara adopsi or via surrogate eh ternyata bukan. Pengalaman pertama Devin having sex pada saat dia berumur 16 tahun dengan BUKAN PACAR TAPI HANYA SEORANG PEREMPUAN YANG DIA KENAL DI SEKOLAH. Setelah pengalam pertamanya itu dia baru mempertanyakan tentang orientasi seksualnya. Pernyataan Devin: "Having sex with her had done nothing for him. Hell, he'd barely been able to have a hard-on." Pernyataan yang sungguh aneh, barely been able to have a hard-on tapi cukup "memuaskan" sampai Devin bisa mencapai klimaks yang pada akhirnya membuat "kenalannya" itu hamil, eww! Jadi Devin itu punya anak selagi dia masih teenager, kira-kira umur 17 tahun. Setelah itu hidupnya juga tidak dipenuhi sunshine and roses tapi penuh dengan perjuangan dan kepahitan. Setelah hampir diperkosa oleh pacar ibunya, dia tinggal di jalanan dengan bekerja di pagi hari dan menjajakan diri pada malam hari selama 1,5 tahun.

Bueno, la señora Grant, Fred y Greg no merecían morir. Ahora, como siempre, la muerte de Fingers sin sentido, demasiado rápida y fácil. Otra vez quedé insatisfecha.

Pero eso si, de entre los hermanos Remus, Houston es mi favorito.

Best of the series by far. I really loved both of the Mcs and was so happy to see Devin get his son back. Overall, a really enjoyable story.

I just loved Houston and Devin. The Remus Brothers have a lot on their plate in this part of the series, with trying to end the drug cartel, or dealing with evil hyenas, or Houston trying to protect Devin and his son, Jordan, I was definitely kept on the edge of my seat while reading this one. The story had it's frustrating moments for me like in the beginning when Devin wouldn't communicate with Houston, which irks me to no end, but once he did the pace picked up and I was totally enthralled. I really hope that we see more of the Remus Brothers because all of them are awesome and supportive of their family. I thoroughly enjoyed this series. :)
