Equal pay for equal work. Prominent positions in the society. Autonomy. The freedom to own and trade property. Just some of the rights of the ancient Egyptian women. A brief but fascinating look at these ancient lives. Sadly these values were not passed on, instead western thought followed in the Greek and biblical tradition.
