Topping the Alpha
This is the fourth book in the Trident Series and while it can be read as a stand-alone it does reveal spoilers to previous books and therefore should be read in order.
Jake "Reverend" Donovan growing up was the high school quarterback with a full ride ahead of him but he held a secret inside him, he was gay. One night his dad found out and beat him and as soon as he graduated he left for the navy. After the Navy he joined up with Trident Security with the Sawyer brothers, Ian and Devon.
Nick Sawyer has his own secrets that he has kept from his family and one that involves his long standing crush on Jake. When the two get together at Kristen and Devon's wedding, Nick looks forward to coming home for 4 weeks to explore their relationship further.
Yet Jake is holding Nick at a distance and the two need to come to terms with everything around them before Jake is willing to enter any relationship. Then there are the secrets in Jake's past that are preventing him from moving forward. Will the two be able to work through things or are they better off as friends?
When Jake is brought into a case involving a girl, Alyssa Wagner, he has sworn to protect will he be able to deal with everything being thrown at him? When the case takes a dangerous turn who will Jake be able to protect and will it cost him his heart?
Wow - this book was great!! I definitely did not expect some of the stuff that came out - especially at the end and then it made sense why Jake was so guarded.
I have loved Jake through the series and this book made me love him even more. Although he could definitely be a jerk he was trying to protect himself and I understood why he really needed Nick to come out.
I really liked Nick and understood why he was hesitant to come out to his family. He was a Navy Seal and still had to protect how he felt. He was a great guy who really had feelings for Jake and wanted a fair chance for their relationship to work.
The parts involving Alyssa were so sad and I am glad that she had Jake and Trident working to protect her. It's super sad in life how evil people can be, especially those that think they are untouchable!
I'm loving this series and can't wait for the next one!!

Marco "Polo" DeAngelis is a former Navy Seal and current member of Trident Security. After his sister died recently he is ready to live his life as a DOM and not get attached to any woman. Growing up he had a difficult childhood and doesn't feel like he would be an adequate father.
Harper Williams was best friends with Nina, Marco's sister and shared her grief with Marco one night yet was completely shut out from him after that. When she is attacked in her house and the baby is missing Marco must get his head together and figure out what is going on.
Harper is a lawyer and has worked in many cases allowing women to escape domestic abuse so could someone be after her from there? As Trident Security sets up a watch on Harper will Marco figure out how he feels about Harper and if he is ready for what she is offering? Will Marco be able to figure out who is after Harper in order to save her or will they be one step ahead?
EEK!! This one is great and there was definitely some holy wow moments!!
Marco was in for the shock of his life when he finds out about Harper and Mara and I loved his reaction and then the reaction of Brody to him. That scene was awesome between them in the parking lot and I loved Brody even more at that moment! It took awhile for Marco to come around but I am so glad he did and the YouTube video scene was awesome!! Laughed so hard!
I loved Harper and completely understood why she was so mad at Marco and felt like he had abandoned her and Mara. She always wanted to keep her distance from Marco knowing that they didn't want the same things in life. She is a strong character and really doesn't want to let the threat control her life.
No spoilers allowed but some people are crazy!!
I also love how the team is growing and we are getting introduced to more new characters. The author does such a good job with introducing them that you feel like they are immediately part of the team and want to know more and more about them.
Can't wait to see what's next for Trident Security!!
Tickle His Fancy
This is the sixth book in the Trident Series and while it is not necessary to read them in order it really gives you a better understanding of the characters in the series and the backstories.
Brody "Egghead" Evans is a former Navy Seal and the computer wizard of Trident Security. He is known for his charm and Texas drawl. When he accompanies Angie to Fancy Creations he doesn't expect to meet Fancy Maguire who takes his breath away and is apparently immune to his charms.
Fancy Maguire has not had it easy since the death of her husband, Patrick, almost 3 years ago. Luckily she has had his brother Corey to rely on as she has opened her bakery. Fancy is also concerned as her bakery has been vandalized lately and she believes it could be due to some kids she had kicked out.
At the same time someone has begun to target submissives within the BDSM community and it is clear that the girls aren't safe. But who is targeting them?
Will Fancy allow herself to open up to Brody when it is evident how much he cares about her? Will she soon find herself at risk with what is going on around her as the attacks on her bakery continue?
Wow!!! Even before I started this book Brody was my favorite and this book just cemented that fact! This book was such an incredible page turner that I couldn't put it down!
Brody is every girls dream - handsome, smart, alpha male, gorgeous and of course caring! As soon as he meets Fancy he is smitten with her and immediately goes into protective mode with her regarding her safety.
Fancy is hesitant on moving on as it is such a huge step after you've lost someone you love. Yet she slowly opens up to Brody when she realizes how much he cares about her and is not trying to take Patrick's place.
I never saw the twist coming near the end although it didn't surprise me as they talked.
I've placed my guess to who is going after the submissives and I can't wait to see whether or not I am right!
This series is amazing and I can't wait to see what happens next with Carter!!

An Awesome Read!
I loved reading The Trident Security Series - Book 4 - 6. This was an incredible series the first 1 thru 3 & the 2nd 4 - 6, this series will keep your attention and you won't want to put it down from start to finish. The hot six-pac Former Navy Seals are incredible hot, built big and have huge hearts for their team and their significant others. And since each of them are Dom's they take life very seriously, both in business & in private. Book 4 is all about Nick Sawyer the baby brother to Devon & Ian and he's struggling with his preference in guys verses girls. He's always had a girlfriend in high school, but it never felt right, but he had an encounter with Jake at Devon's wedding and it was amazing. So he's hoping while he's on R&R in Tampa for the next six weeks to pick up where they left off, but he's not sure if Jake feels the same way. The other problem is Jake is part of Seal Team 4 which both his brothers are part of, and doesn't want to rock the boat, so he'll play it by ear. Book 5 is all about Marco/Polo and Millicent/Harper his sisters BFF and a one night stand for him. But he gets a call from a local detective who tells him Harper was just sent to the hospital and the baby is missing during a home invasion. He's trying to wrap his head around the fact she had a baby, when they were together 13 months ago! Anyway it turns out the baby was with her mother, but he is the father. But he finds out that she did contact him and was told he wanted nothing to do with her or the baby. He never talked to her, but his stalker did all his talking, unbeknownst to him. Book 6 is all about Brody/Egghead and Fancy Michalson a baker who owns a bakery and cooks the most amazing delectable confections that has Brody drooling! Read about these amazing guys, and I can't wait till Book 7.5 comes out!

Topping the Alpha - My favorite book in the whole series!! Jake and Nick have mountains to climb and hurdles to cross before they can take their romance to the next level. Will Jake be able to get over his past and finally let love and happiness surround him? Beautifully written and emotionally charged.
Watching from the Shadows - Strong, Alpha Dominant Marco DeAngelis is taken to his knees when he finds out he is a father. But can he mend fences with Harper and allow them to become a family - even with a crazy stalker trying to keep them apart? It was a joy to watch the tender side of Marco come out.
Tickle His fancy - Brody "Egghead" Evans thinks he is just helping out his friend Angie pick out a cake for her wedding - but he ends up with so much more when the baker is someone he instantly falls for. But will the baggage from her past keep her from moving on with her life? Will she ever get a HEA? This book had it all - action, humor, emotion and exactly what you would expect from the Trident Security sexy six pack. These characters are so well written. Love this series!!

Holy smokes Jake and Nick's story will rock your world and you will absolutely love this couple and m/m sex scenes smoking hot.
Brody and fancy story is another Amazing book. It will suck you in and keep you hooked and I have to say I was so happy for Brody to find someone. He deserves happiness and I did cry when Brody was hurt. Another Amazing boxset.

These books are awesome! Following the adventures of the Sexy Six Pack is just so hot, steamy and an HEA is guaranteed! Follow these guys as each one finds their perfect submissive or dominant depends on whose view you are into. I so enjoyed every word I read in this second set of alpha Seal stories. I couldn't get enough of each story. I loved how each couple found their way around the element of danger while falling in love with each other and becoming a family.

I am in love with this series! Can't wait to read the next book!
#4 -- I enjoyed this read and finished it in one sitting. I have enjoyed every book in this series and this one has continued the trend. I’m not entirely comfortable with all the BDSM stuff in this series, but the military/mystery part of the book has me wrapped around its little finger and I love getting to know everyone’s personal story. They seem like real life people, even though they are not. I completely recommend this series; although, I definitely recommend starting from the beginning. While each book is a stand-alone and has a HEA (so far) they just make much more sense when read in order.
#5 -- There were several things about this story that I did not like; however, I could not put it down and finished it in one sitting.
I don’t love the unknown baby story line; although, in this case she did not keep it from him on purpose. I’m still not a fan of that story line.
I also thought the main story line was rather predictable.
That being said I still enjoyed the story. I enjoyed the additional characters and the continued growth of past characters.
I will definitely be continuing the series.
#6 -- I enjoyed this book a lot. While this is the first one that is not a complete stand alone I enjoyed the deeper story line and it wraps up enough to still feel like a completed book.

#4 -- I enjoyed this read and finished it in one sitting. I have enjoyed every book in this series and this one has continued the trend. I’m not entirely comfortable with all the BDSM stuff in this series, but the military/mystery part of the book has me wrapped around its little finger and I love getting to know everyone’s personal story.
