Comprehensive account of mind manipulation as of its date of publication (1978). Contains the most detailed information I have found yet regarding military and intelligence operations (MKULTRA, Artichoke, Bluebird) operating domestically to inflict psychological damage on others. Also includes a concise but valuable history of modern psychosurgery and its misuses. Hard to find but worth it.
