After the ending of the last volume, the wait for this one was pretty excruciating, I'm not going to lie! This volume certainly didn't disappoint either. There are some reaaaally nice parallels to how the series started, with a scary knight wandering about and showing up at the tavern. I actually really liked that whole scene, it was such a nice touch, and made me all nostalgic for the older volumes! It kind of gave a sense of how much things had changed too!
The wandering knight heralds a giant plot twist, and I genuinely screeched "WTF?!" out loud at the reveal. I still can't even. I mean technically it's not a new character, but I can't say much else because spoilers. But said newish character is pretty hilarious and I'm looking forward to seeing more of the character in the coming volumes, as well as a certain reunion!
With Meliodas down for the count, we get to go in to his memories and see what happened after Danafall, something I've been curious about for a long time. There's still a lot of mystery surrounding Danafall and we get a little piece filled in, as long as some background on Elizabeth. But it was nice to get to see more of Meliodas and his life, and how the Seven Deadly Sins came to be. The world and the characters are getting more and more fleshed out and little bits filled in with each of the volumes. Interestingly we get some more information on Meliodas and his curse and how it works.
While that's all going on, everyone else is pulling together to try to fight the Commandments. We don't see much of Gil, Ban and Howser but we do get a glimpse. Escanor gets a lot of page time this volume, and he gets his badass moment...sort of!
It really feels like we're starting afresh in this volume, a brand new chapter is beginning, the parallels to the first volume kind of underline it and it feels like everything is being manoeuvred in to place in this volume for the next stage of the story. Some pieces fall in to place with some revelations and everything's ready for the big showdown that's no doubt coming as our heroes you know...heroically fight back. We also get an intriguing little bonus story too that should prove to be interesting!
On Emir Liones'i bir türlü ele geçirememiş çeşitli sebeplerden ötürü.
Escanor is carrying this volume and the series hard. If not for him, I would have rated this book much lower. Meliodas is dead (the ending of the previous volume) and the Sins and Elizabeth continue to fight for Britannia. Escanor's fight against Estarossa is phenomenal and one of my favorite fights in hundreds of manga I've read. There is also a backstory about Meliodas and Elizabeth which was "meh" at best. The ending was okay as well. I'm honestly more curious about Escanor's future than any other character.

Absolutely love the anime so figured I would give the manga a shot, and boy was I half I did. The manga is, in my opinion, far superior to the already outstanding anime. If you like the anime and story of The Seven Deadly Sins, give the manga a go, you won't be sorry.
Escanor is Bestanor. He is literally the only saving grace of this entire volume. I could not care less about Elizabeth and Meliodas's shared backstory, the Ten Commandments, Meliodas's curse, nothing. Step up your game, Seven Deadly Sins.
So. Meliodas is cursed and never dies for long....?
Who did Derieri think Elizabeth was?......And why did Meliodas save and bound with an infant Elizabeth? Is she why he betrayed the Ten Commandments?.....
Way to go saving Elizabeth, Meliodas!
Hope Escanor is alright!

Have a big helping of déjà vu, because this volume is almost a perfect repeat of the first volume. Almost. The only difference is that Meliodas is dead and the world is being ravaged by those demonic ten commandments!
But we get a new character who assures us that all hope is not lost. We also get to take a trip into Meliodas's memories. It answers some questions, but not all of them. Mostly, it raises more.
