Cases of Lieutenant Kane #1-3
Lieutenant Kane Thrillers
Malevolent: Book One in the Cases of Lieutenant Kane Series
Tampa homicide lieutenant Carl Kane has a tough job. His day-to-day consists of decomposing dead bodies and removing murderers from the general public. But when two women’s bodies are found under similar circumstances, it quickly turns into more than your average case. The killer is clearly looking to make a name for himself, and his plans for these women go far beyond death.
When the media runs with the story, the killer’s moment in the spotlight arrives.
It’s up to Lieutenant Kane to bring the man the press has dubbed the Psycho Surgeon to justice. However, being the lead on the case has its drawbacks—like becoming the focus of the killer yourself.
As Lieutenant Kane closes in on his suspect, he soon realizes the case has become far more personal than he could have ever imagined.
Requite: Book Two in the Cases of Lieutenant Kane Series
Tampa homicide lieutenant Carl Kane is enjoying a new work schedule, a budding romance off duty, and a lull in recent murders—that is, until he’s requested to a murder scene in a neighboring district. A seemingly normal husband and wife are found bludgeoned to death with words carved into their flesh.
The partial message left in the victims ensures more bodies will follow. It doesn’t take long before they do.
Kane quickly realizes that this is revenge in its most sinister form.
He must bring the man behind the murders to justice before the message is complete, the body count rises, and the killer disappears forever.
A tall task when everyone involved is either dead or deceitful.
Determinant: Book Three in the Cases of Lieutenant Kane Series
On duty, Tampa homicide lieutenant Carl Kane hunts for the killer of a woman found floating in the Hillsborough Bay. As he tracks down leads, more and more pieces of the suspect’s description trickle in.
When evidence from a seemingly unrelated double homicide points to the same suspect, Kane is at a loss to explain the connection.
It doesn’t take long before the lieutenant gets some answers—answers that could put everything in the life he now enjoys into immediate jeopardy.
Between life-changing news, an ex-wife who wants him back, and one of the most ruthless men he’s ever been up against, Lieutenant Kane is tasked with more than bringing a killer to justice. He must keep a loved one, as well as himself, alive long enough to have a chance.

Another great book in the LT. Kane series. I had read the previous two so am reviewing Determinant.
This story is about Callie's past catching up with her. If only she had talked to Kane about it he could have been prepared, maybe. Russian criminals are not ones to have hunting you. Callie has some other life changing news to share with Kane. There is a kick ass boat near the end of the book. I do believe everyone should have a chance to experience a ride in one! Looking forward to reading the next book in this series along with the other series. Great author.

Reinhard is a new author for me, but not for long.
I read the first three Lieutenant Kane books back to back I couldn't believe how riveting this
storyline was from page one, I stayed up late three days in a row, the literary excellence of the author is astonishing I couldn't put the story line out of my head, the more I read about Lieutenant Kane the more intriguing the story became. I'm addicted for sure, I've already picked out my next book to read, so I have to get to it right now! Give this author a try you won't be disappointed!

Interesting 3 books.
These three books fit together showing the police work in Tampa. The main characters need a little more development, showing they are learning from their jobs as policemen, thinking a head and figuring the bad guys out. The author also shows the human side of the characters, that gives them a personality. The shootings and fighting does get more descriptive in each book, which makes the book more realistic. They are worth reading.

Life threatening
A truly remarkable opening series of thrillers in Lieutenant Kane series. I have to admit that , at times, the reading became quite breathtaking. Hard to keep up with speed and intensity of the action however, it is a compelling read from start ťo finish. Not to be missed

All seperate adventures
Each book was it's own unique story. Some events and characters are briefly mentioned but not dwelled upon. Just enough history to make the stories blend. The narratives demontrated investigative methods. As in most super hero novels the tights are super human in abuse

Wow! What a trio!
Well, I think the first book was the darkest and goriest, but all three were pretty intense. Tons of action and even a little humor with a very special cat( I love the cat!). I've read other series by this author and all have been great.

Pulse pounding police thrillers.
Each case is different, in its plot, but the Lt. and the Sgt. use solid police procedures each time. The only thing negative, is the Lt never is affected by the beatings the would kill any man. But his sense of right and wrong are strong.

Another Serial
I knew when I started reading free books 1 -3 in a series that there would be no closure…I was right, each book sets up the next one in an unbelievable chain of events. Not for me three were enough.

Dumbest detective that ever existed in fiction. He stumbles around watching the bodies fall.

The first books murder style was grotesque even for me. It had me wanting to keep reading to see what happened. Book three was by far the best in this series. I’m looking forward to 4-6!

Kane Thrillers Books 1 to 3
Good plots follows on from each other, keeps Kane on his toes and also means that he is involved with the plots.

Great read
It’s dark and dirty but you can’t put it down. If you read at night you’ll be past your bedtime just to get to the next chapter.
