This duology focuses around a small community called Hesburn and follows three POVs they are working together to try and defend their territory that is constantly being attacked. The three POVs follow the hunter side of the community: Ris Hallori an old-fashioned hunter, Enya Ravnaar who is part of the more military side of the community and Navar Heigan who is also a hunter.

As tourists get attacked the wherewolves are leaving a bloody mess for them to find the motivation to find and hunt down the animals that are leaving blood in their wake becomes a huge priority.
