Definitely a crazy ride! Hayley and Aiden have always been great friends and their attraction is undeniable. Things just start going horribly wrong in Hayley's life and she can't figure out why anyone would want to sabotage her and her work. Her adorable pup Rocky is right by her side to give her the comfort she needs <3 Between all the threats and tragedies Hayley doesn't know where to turn but she has friends on her side that will stop at nothing to keep her safe. Phoenix is the complete package of alpha male and when everything is wrong he will be Hayley's right. Another amazing and emotional read by Madison Sevier! These Asphalt Cowboy's keep you wanting more!!

My Thoughts:
Crazy bitches abound where dirt meets the ground.
While our story book duo bad boy and good girl are brought together not only does the drama ignite so does their love attraction.
Phoenix of course being the guy he is, is always willing to do whatever it takes for Hayley which he does despite some of the head butting and silliness.
I liked Phoenix who I grew to like instantly, Hayley took me a bit longer to like because there was a sort of on off switch inside her I didn't quite care for however you can also tell there's a vacancy where she's kept the more sensitive areas of her heart under wraps. It was sweet getting to see her melt when we got it and burn when Phoenix wanted it. All in all a really good read and I think one of Sevier's best book yet.

Haley and Phoenix
Loved loved it. Rocky made it one happy little family. You get all the feels in this story. Can't wait to read "Tex" and "Romeo". Definitely a must-read series.

Another great read by Madison Sevier. I love these characters and their storylines, and how they blend together in each book so well. I can’t wait to read the next one.

October 6, 2016I have been waiting so impatiently Phoenix to release, the next book in the Asphalt Cowboys Series to release. I loved Renegade so much that I couldn't wait to see what everyone was up, how things were going, and just who might find their happily ever after next.
Aiden "Phoenix" Hunt has lived a pit of rocky past. He's lived through plenty of ups and downs and is ready for some nice steady even living. I really liked Aiden. He is one of those guys that will depend is friends that are more like family no matter what it takes. He's sweet, a gentleman, has really good instincts, and just happens to have been carrying one heck of a crush on his dispatcher.
Hayley Shaw may enjoy working with truckers but she has sworn off ever getting romantically involved with one. I bonded with Hayley quickly. She is one strong lady that has a huge heart. She's also the recently adopted mother of an incredible sweet and adorable Chihuahua named Rocky. I love pets in stories it just adds more to the story.
Aiden and Hayley have had feelings for each other for a while. Neither was willing to risk their friendship for something more. Oh my when they do look out! The smoldering attraction turns hot enough to just maybe melt a few highways. I so enjoyed watching these two try out a different spin to their relationship.
Ms. Sevier has created a really awesome story with plenty of drama, action, mystery, and the perfect amount of steam. The characters in the Asphalt series are so well written. They truly do feel like a bunch of folks that may have stopped into our garage and towing business mostly just to chat and catch up. I love all the characters. It was great to see how Mason and Savannah were doing. I won't spoil the surprise for you but they have a little something happening that brings some joy into the storyline.
I can not wait to see what happens in Tex, the next book coming up in this series. I will be impatiently awaiting the chance to get my hot little hands on that one. I know it will be great read. I have never met a Madison Sevier book that I didn't love.

Aiden "Phoenix" Hunt has had a run of bad luck that has lasted his whole life. Born to drug addicted parents then put into the foster system, he has grown accustomed to disappointment and pain. But, he enjoys his life as a trucker and he has proven more than once that he is a survivor. He wants more than anything to win the heart of his friend Hayley, but he thinks he's not good enough. Hayley Shaw has a difficult past as well but she is married to her job and doesn't have time for romance. But, when things start to go wrong for Hayley, the one person she can always depend on is there for her Aiden. Can two broken people come together and mend each other? Read and see!
This book had plenty of action and a lot of angst. And more than once I wanted to hit both Aiden and Hayley upside their heads. So stubborn! There is a lot of chemistry between the two, but they were their own worst enemies when it came to giving in to each other. I enjoyed their story but the drama was a little over the top at times. But, all in all it's an entertaining read.

This is book 2 is this series, it does stand alone but you're missing a gem if you don't get book 1.
It was nice to touch on book one's characters with an update in their lives too.
This is Haley and Aiden's story, long time friends with chemistry galore. Aiden is a truckie and Haley runs the business, she has bad taste in employees when things go horribly wrong. I fell in love with the wee dog and kept thinking don't you kill off that baby or kidnap it or anything.
The story was well written and you'll be sucked into this trucking world. There was action, drama, lust and love. Towards the end of the story the author had me on tenterhooks...it can't be! What is she doing? I'm glad to say Ms Sevier wrapped up the story well so I don't have to hunt her down and shake her.

Another AWESOME read from Madison. This book is the second in the Asphalt Cowboys series and it just keeps getting better. There is drama, romance, suspense and ass kicking REAL men (heroes) I think it was around chapter 21 that I almost threw my kindle across the room I know I yelled NOOOOOOOOO !!! I am glad she gave us some follow up on how Mason and Savannah have been doing. I love all the names of each of the characters they are so fitting for each person and their personality! I mean Hayley-Bird and Phoenix it is PERFECT....READ this you will get into the story so fast and will not want to put it down. I LOVED it !!!!!!!
If you have never read any of her books please do yourself a favor ......I have read ALL of her work and she is truly amazing :)

I couldn't put this book down! Aiden "Phoenix" as risen from the ashes, more times than he can count. He's won and lost it all so many times, but always seems to pull himself up and keep on going. He feels unworthy of love, that he's not good enough for anyone, especially Haley. They've been friends forever. They can talk about anything, and they are there for each other. When things in her life begin to go horribly wrong, she's been threatened, things at work are sabotaged, he steps in and doesn't look back. Their attraction is off the charts, but they deny it. Can these two wounded hearts find their way to trust and love each other? Another fabulous trucker romance by Madison Sevier!

Phoenix by Madison Sevier is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited time for reading. Ms Sevier has delivered a well written book full of awesome characters. Aiden and Hayley's story is full of drama, suspense, humor and sizzle. I enjoyed Phoenix and look forward to reading more from Madison Sevier in the future. Phoenix is book 2 of the Asphalt Cowboy Series but can be read as a standalone. I do suggest reading book 1 (Renegade) too though, so you don't miss out on any of the fun. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Another great part of the asphalt cowboys series, Madison did a great job lots of surprises to discover in this second book of the series in true asphalt cowboy style
