A war brewing with the McCauley gang, and Jake Anderson, Under Boss of the Kindred Sons, chose to focus his time on training his men to be ready. He would become the Don of the Kindred Sons in time, so he needed to be ready for the fight.

Getting women certainly wasn't a problem for him but getting rid of their greedy intentions was a pain in the ass. It was easier to be alone. Vengeance is a full-length standalone with no cheating and a HEA. Set in Northern Ireland, it's full of bad boy Northern Irish men who aren't afraid to speak their minds. Course language and dark themes throughout.

Wow this book was really good, very intense and had a lot of surprises. I liked the writing style and Bella was such a great character, she had passion and grit but had a vulnerable side as well. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

Vengeance is the first book in the Kindred Sons series. Being that this was my first read from
this author, I dived right in as soon as could because the blurb was compelling. Yet, I was left a
little disappointed and this book to have a little more of something and it fell a little short.
After horrifying experiences, Bella finds herself running back to the town where she calls home.
Hoping to make enough money while waiting on her brother, Bella finds herself embroiled in a
gang war between the McCauley gang and the Kindred Sons’ Underboss, Jake Anderson. Bella
has caught the eye of the Underboss, only question is does she really want his attention.
I loved Bella’s strength in knowing when to get out of danger and loved that she relied on
memories of her mom to pull her through the tough times. Jake was a compelling alpha male
and definitely wore the UnderBoss mantle proudly. The other secondary characters were also
compelling and I definitely want to know more about Louise because she definitely has a story
to tell. With a strong plot line, the story moved along at a decent pace and kept me engaged.
Here’s where I had my issues, first I wasn’t sure whether this was the final copy of the book. If it
was, the book had some grammatical and spelling issues, a proofreader/editor should have
caught. However, this was not the distraction for me. This came in the form of plot holes. I felt
the “I love you” scene came especially too quickly after a major scene in the story. And the time
passage just didnt work in parts of the book. I would have liked to have seen more in the way of the workings of the Kindred Sons. I felt like you didn’t get to really appreciate the gang’s motto
of “Loyalty & Blood” and would have liked to see more of the gritty action I’ve come to expect in gang battles.
Overall, this book was a valiant first book. Will I read more from this author? Most definitely.
The author has a great series in her mind’s eye and I look forward to seeing her writing explode
in the next installment of Kindred Sons!

This is my first read from author Beth Wynne and I loved it! You've got a woman hiding in plain sight from her past, tattooed bad boys, and a slick villain you'll love to hate....what's not to love?

Sarah has died her hair and is now going by Bella in the hopes of avoiding old hurts. While the sweet guy in the office is anything but, the bad boy Jake sets her blood on fire. The way he looks at her, talks to her, and easily comes to her rescue has her falling quickly for a man she knows she should stay away from.
Jake is the underboss in one of the local Irish gangs, the Kindred Sons. He's trying to get his men ready for a war that is on the horizon, but he can't help but be drawn to Bella, especially when she is a damsel in distress. When he realizes just how much trouble she's in, he makes it his personal mission to protect her. But when the truth comes out about who she really is, will he still feel the same way? Or will he be willing to feed her to the enemy to protect his own?
This was a great read! I love a lot of suspense mixed in between the hot passion of the main characters. Secrets abound in this book not only from Bella, but from other characters as well. Some secrets may not surprise you, while others you won't see coming. Steamy and suspenseful read that will definitely keep you turning the pages!!

Jake won't tolerate anyone hurting or coming between the woman he wants, until he does exactly that and misunderstands a situation and she walks away. Not everything is as it seems, and Jake knows his lost the one woman who could give him what he needs. But will he find her in time before his enemies do? And will he break the truce and go to war to save the woman he loves?
This is book one in the new series Kindred Sons, which was an interesting read. I really like to storyline which was well paced, and filled with drama, suspense, action, and some hot romance. The characters were likable and engaging. They were well suited and had great chemistry. However there still seemed to be something missing, lacking perhaps in parts of the storyline, I just can't really put my finger on one particular thing. Otherwise overall it was still a very enjoyable read.

When Sarah decides to move back home, to get away from the man that had hurt her, she decides to go by Bella(her middle name). Starting her new job she meets Louise, a friendly face at the office. She also meets Denver, the office slime ball and the person who will put her on the Kindred Sons radar. Jake is the son of the Kindred Sons leader and when he meets Bella he knows there is something about her that is different from any other woman he has met. Bella and Jake are in for a whirlwind when she almost does something that could hurt those taken care of by the Kindred Sons. A misunderstanding has Bella fleeing and Jake feeling betrayed, yet they manage to work it out. With Jake Bella(Sarah) has the opportunity to get revenge at the one man that took so much from her, while helping the Kindred Sons. I enjoyed this read from Beth Wynne. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this wonderful debut book from Beth Wynne and I would highly recommend it. Sarah (Bella) has ran from an abusive asshole man and gone back to her home town so she can be there when her brother gets out of prison on parole. She meets Jake when she gets into trouble and he knows immediately that she's different than the women he's used to. I don't want to give anything away so I'll just say this is a definite must read and Beth Wynne did a great job with her first book and I hope she keeps them coming.

Jake is a cocky guy who owns it and Bella is just starting over, hoping to make a good home for her brother to come home. Bella gets into trouble right away and hopes to fix everything before it all goes terribly wrong. Jake shouldn't be attracted to Bella but he can't help it, especially when he finds out the truth. You'll have to read how this love story unfolds for Jake and Bella! It's a page turner for sure. I received this book in exchange for my honest review!

What a great story. Loved it. Jake has a hard alpha personality and tired of women's greed. Bella comes home with with deep emotional and physical wounds and focuses on her brother, Vengeance brings them together but is love in there too? I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend it. Gifted an ARC for an honest review........
The premise and the 2 main characters were interesting. The store was well paced, once you got past the first few chapters, but getting past them was a challenge. I thought Bella was a strong, determined, resourceful women, this character was great. If you can get through the first 4-5 chapters, you'll find a good, solid read.

This is a great read. I was hooked from the beginning. Bella moves back home to be there for her brother. Bella is also trying to get away from her destructive relationship. Jake is part of the Kindred Sons. Bella crosses path with Jake. Will vengeance bring them together or keep them apart? I enjoyed this story. Received copy for honest review.

Beth Wynne is a new author to me and I will definitely be looking for more of her books! Vengeance was very well written, in depth characters and the sizzling sex scenes were beyond steamy! Bella and Jake's romance is one that will stay with me for a long time.

My copy had many grammar and spelling errors but I still understood what was written. Overall great fast paced romance, instant-love, mafia hard headedness with Bella didn't completely tell the entire truth about her and her family but that didn't stop Jake from loving her after his temper cooled off. Justice will be served with revenge, Bella will get her closure for her loss innocent baby and the man who beat the unborn baby dead.

I had this in my Kindle forever! I was given an ARC and I finally had a chance to read it. I was pleasantly surprised by Jake and Bella. I absolutely loved the story of their lives and how they crashed. It was good to see them find love again and to be able to heal each other's wounds.

Not enough effort
The author could have done better with the plot. Denver should know Louise’s role. Drugging the Under Boss was ridiculous. I love you’d were too soon. It reads like the author had a deadline rather than a great story that needed to be told.

Vengeance by Beth Wynne **** a good story!
The story was good & drew me in, with some danger/mob justice, angst, love & a HEA. The characters were likable and well developed. There were some annoying errors but they didn't detract from the story for me. Disclosure: I voluntarily reviewed an InstaFreebie copy of this book.

I am a sucker for an alpha male and this book did not disappoint.
Bad boy Jake Anderson is the Under Boss to the Kindred Sons crime family.
Good girl Bella is doing her best to escape a past she doesn't want anything to do with. A haunting past. She goes as far as changing her name in hopes of making herself harder to find.
These two sizzle together and this book is on the shorter end of what I'm used to reading, but it definitely doesn't lack passion or heat.
The only negatives I have about this book are that I would like to see a little bit more character development and I would have liked one of the climaxes (no, not that kind) to go into detail a bit more and be a slightly longer.
I give this a solid 4 stars. This was a new to me author, but this won't be the last book of hers that I read!

This book was a surprisingly enjoyable read, and one of the better written mafia romances that I've read. It was often hard to remember it was a mafia romance, but little things would bring it back to the story and I'd see it clearly. I'm glad I found a new author to add to my want to read last.

Sarah (Bella) and Jake are just a dynamic combination. This is my first book by Beth Wynne and I look forward to seeing what she comes out with next as it'll definitely be on my "To Read" list.
Sarah (Bella) moved home to escape a past. However, going home, brings her faced with other parts of her past. She's put into uncomfortable positions while trying to make the best choices possible. Is she able to find love in the midst of all this?

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.
This is a debut novel from this author, and she has done a wonderful job. I was enthralled and intrigued from the very beginning. Bella who is escaping from an abusive relationship, is vulnerable, passionate, and feisty, Jake is the under boss of the Kindred Sons, and is cocky and protective. These two have great chemistry together.
This is an intense read, with surprises along the way. I recommend this read to all, and cannot wait to read more of Beth’s work. Well done on a well written storyline Beth!!
