Read as an ebook from the local library. Loved the content, loved the tone; practical and down-to-earth while still an effective nudge to action. Fits in very well with all the agile stuff I've been absorbing in the past month as well. Marginal gains, small team/circle of trust, and high performance not meaning living every moment at full speed, but learning from feedback and taking proper care of yourself.

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!
I have been through a couple of leadership courses that both of these women have been involved in over the last 6 years. This book reinforced everything that I learnt and just keeps building on top of that.
Here we have quotes from all sorts of people, meant to inspire us and help us on our journey. Most of all, we have 2 amazing women sharing their insights and their stories, throughout the process in order to remind us that we are all human. That we all have similar needs and wants and even though they might be successful in the public eye, we are the same and we can fight for ourselves in the way that they have.
The book is laid out so that you can start at the beginning and work through the book. Or, you can pick a topic that you need in the here and now and go straight to that one.
The girls have reminded me that I need to share my #shinysuccess and to celebrate what is important to me. To have faith that I can DO instead of just saying that's too hard. Their book is a great reminder of who we are and who we want to be and they just help inspire you to that point where you say, enough is enough. I can do it! Game On!!
My next #gameon and #shinysuccess will be to host an evening with these two amazing women so that they can share their book and their insights with women in my local community. In the past I would have left it to others to do because it was too daunting and what if I fail? They have reminded me of my passion and now it is time to share that with others so...GAME ON!!!!
