It felt like there's a gradual shift the way the translation was handled, or maybe it's the way Kikuchi writes. Whichever it is, this book is where it really becomes impossible to ignore, and in the best way possible. This one was really easy to follow from start to finish, similar to older volumes. but the first difference is a little more time being spent in the first chapter to flesh each story-specific character as whatever region of the frontier the adventure takes place in. It helps make each volume more distinctive from the rest.

Pikk was every bit as fun as he was kind of disgusting. Felt bad for him in the end. The second half taking place entirely on a train was a great idea. It really gave the story a unique property from the other books in the series. Overall, it's a solid entry.

I liked this more than I thought, but I felt like the ending was rushed and needed another 1-200 words to close it off more smoothly than it was. The Qty of additional hunters could have been lowered to concentrate more on the built up characters that were more direct to the story and plot. I know we always get a hit, but just a little more of D history would be amazing to have once and awhile within the story.

Great for D fans! I felt like there were way too many characters at times and I started to get confused who was who. Other than that I enjoyed the story and as always I love the banter between D and his left hand.
