Well, I kind of feel like it's the end of era. Not sure what to do now. I've followed Sky and Dylan's story from the very early days, and loved every minute of it. Bearing in mind, I don't even read Rock Romance normally. It really does nothing for me at all, and I refuse to read any. EXCEPT for this series, Blur Phoenix. Right from the very start, I knew this wasn't like any other book, or series I had read before. Although it was a Rock Romance, it was just so much more than that. It was a journey, following the lives and loves of some incredible characters, with the backdrop of the Rock music industry.

I do have to point out, I've always had a soft spot for Dylan and Sky. They were what started all this epic series off, and I've loved them ever since. Even when they have popped in and out of the other band members stories, it's been enough to keep me going. Until I could get my hands on Forever Sky, the final chapter in their life.

This story has so much going on and squeezed in, you wouldn't believe it's their 3rd book together. I literally go from feeling excited for them, to crying with them, to being nervous with them, to again crying with them, you get the gist. I was all over the place with my emotions. This story is literally non stop gripping, there is always something to keep you glued to the pages.

Please, please, please bear in mind, you have to have read at least Sky and Dylan's story in Summer Sky and Falling Sky, but if you want to FULLY appreciate everything going on, and other secondary characters, it's advised to read the whole Blue Phoenix series. Believe me it's worth it, and you will NOT regret it.

There isn't really anything I can summarise, or give background on, as it would just totally spoil it. Anyone who loves Dylan and Sky, NEED to go grab this story quick fast. It was everything I hoped for, in Dylan and Sky's final story, plus much more. You will fall in love with this couple all over again, and probably want to re-read from the start, I know I did!!

Highly recommended!! Perfect love story, with gripping action, snotty nose sad stuff, and snotty nose good stuff, basically grab some tissues!!

Not enough stars available to give on this one. 5 Will have to do.

I was both looking forward to and dreading reading Forever Sky. It's the last book in the Blue Phoenix series and saying goodbye to these beloved characters was not easy! I laughed, I cried and, in the end, I felt true contentment as everyone happily sailed off into the sunset so to speak. Forever Sky is a more emotional book than I expected and I shed quite a few tears throughout. There are many highs and lows as Dylan and Sky face some of their most difficult challenges yet. There is happiness and heartbreak but through it all, we root for our favorite couple. With the rest of the band and their significant others making appearances throughout the book, it's a journey that will leave readers satisfied yet sad that it is the last chapter in this amazing series. Kudos to Lisa Swallow for giving her readers the perfect closure. Of course if she were to ever consider writing a spin-off starring the offspring of the Blue Phoenix guys.....

Forever Sky Blue Phoenix Series by Lisa Swallow Review 5/4/17
Does happiness even exist?????

Sky and Dylan have found their forever, wrapped in a world away from rock star Dylan's fame. For Sky, a future with Dylan is a life with the man who closed the book on his past for a future with her. The deeper into her new life Sky goes, the harder she finds holding onto who she is. When a third person enters her new life with Dylan, Sky also struggles to meet the expectations she has of herself. Dylan believes in fairytale endings and his unwavering love for Sky, and he will fight anything that threatens their life together. But the world can throw curveballs that even the strongest couple would struggle to dodge. Including a face from the past. Forever Sky is a look at Dylan and Sky's life in the months after Falling Sky, and the challenges fame and money can't protect them from. Dylan and Sky fought to be together, and now they need to fight for their happy ever after.

What did I like? Well I liked this in the first 2 books and the novella but wow did this ever step it up. I mean we have read about the problems that are involved for the music industry with drugs, alcohol, partying, paparazzi, paternity suits, and about any other problem that a famous person could go through but you just don’t think about their happiness until you read a story like this one.

What will you like? A very developing storyline that takes many twists and turns leading us down the path to hopefully happiness. Hardship, fanatics, life threating situations, broken hearts, and even death takes this a step further into the lives of the rich and famous. I think after reading this series I have decided that it’s a good thing to be anonymous. I know everyone would like to have money to burn but to have all the other problems that come with it, I am not sure that it is worth it. At least not in this case! Even with the language and the sex in this series I have enjoyed each book and will be continuing with the rest of the group.

**Please note this book is written in British English and contains British spelling and idiom**

Brilliant

Although it has been a while between reading the first two books and this one, I remembered more than I thought I would.
I loved this book, it gave me answers that I needed so pleased it ended the way it did.
I was pulled in right from the first chapter, feeling the emotional ride that both Sky and Dylan go on throughout the book. I cried a few times so make sure you have tissues handy.
A brilliant book and a great way to end the story of Sky and Dylan.
So worth the 5 stars I have given it and I highly recommend the series.
Luckily I have the rest of the series now so it won't be so long between books.

Forever Sky

This is the last book of both the series and three part story of Sky and Dylan. Here is the time line shortly after they got back together after his stay in the hospital. They went overseas to get away from the apps and reconnect. Even they get married. But not all is bright skies and rainbows. Lily shows her ugly side and causes more mayhem. Will they get their happy ending? Or will Lily win?

Great wrap up story!

I really enjoyed how the author brought these amazingly complex characters to their HEA! The storyline was addicting to read! I couldn't wait to see how she brought it to its conclusion! She did it with well written words that handled tough issues with class and grace! I will definitely be purchasing the rest of her work!

I liked the first two parts of the story about Sky and her rock star, but the third part (or the 6th part of the series) was unnecessary.

Dylan and Sky’s third and final book is also the end for the Blue Phoenix series. Even if you have no interest in the other band members, you as a minimum need to read the first two books, but even then, you’ll be missing out if you don’t read Liam’s, Jem’s and Bryn’s stories.

Loving the plot, but over Sky!

I wasn’t quite sure I whether I would be reading this book as I really can’t stand Sky. However, I have issues stopping through a series. Whether or not I like the characters I need to know what happens to them. So that’s why I decided to read this last instalment of the Blue Phoenix series.

description

There’ s so much going on this book, it’s fast paced and it does contain some new struggles for Dylan and Sky. I would say that the hurdles they have to overcome are more real than previous. However, I still can’t stand Sky and feel that she brought most of this upon herself. Am I too harsh on her? I really don’t think so! She’s had previous warnings in the earlier books and yet, when an old nemesis turns up, again, Sky refuses to take it seriously. She also refuses to listen to her own body, just because it doesn’t fit into her schedule. And where does all that get her? In a shitty position and she even ends up, taking a big and special moment away from Dylan, just because she’s a brat.

I’m still floored by Lisa’s writing, which once again proves to be truly amazing. The plot in this book is actually pretty great, I just wish Dylan had another partner. I love Dylan, Jem, Bryn, Ruby Tuesday and Avery. However, I could do without ever hearing from any of the other members of their group.

Lisa Swallow continues to grip my heart and not let go with her latest addition to her Blue Phoenix Series. Forever Sky continues the story of Dylan and Sky. Since this story coinsides with the same timelines of many of the books in this series, I would highly recommend reading them all in order to give you the entire picture of the Blue Phoenix band and their relationships withone another! You will not be disappointed.

I have loved Dylan and Sky from the start of this series. From the first few chapters in the first book Summer Sky, Lisa Swallow burrowed her way into my heart with these unforgettable characters. As Dylan and Sky fell in love, dealt with the fall backs of being a celebrity couple I have watched them through the course of this series. Of course Summer Sky and Falling Sky had them as a primary focus the rest of the books in this series had snippets of their lives intricately woven into their storylines as well.

Now in this incredible book, you see what has been happening from their perspective at the same time the other stories took place. As a huge fan of this series, I was thrilled to get my hands on this release. I was blown away by the twists and turns I never new happened to get them to where they are. There were many times I laughed out loud as well as cried throughout the entire story. Not wanting to give anything away, I just have to say I am more than pleased with the outome of Dylan and Sky's adventure together!

Congratulations Lisa Swallow on writing another fantastic addition to this incredible series!

Never a dull moment ❤

A wonderful way to finish this series! Dylan and Sky have never had an easy road...and this final chapter of their story is no different. Take the ride of their ups and downs. Get ready to feel all the feels in this one! Through all the trials and tribulations each band member has endured in their respective books...it's nice to see how far they've all come. That's never more clear than in this penultimate read. There's loss, heartbreak and some true shockers within these pages... So get ready!! These guys are true brothers. So dive in and see how it ends for Summer Sky and her Rock God 😉❤.

A storybook series ending

The Blue Phoenix band is back. Dylan and Sky have been through a battle of a rock stars life. Photographers, fans, tours with the band, and stalkers round out their life. The guys in the band are all growing up and forward with someone special. Dylan and Sky move forward also. With the good also comes the bad. The story and really the entire series will take a reader through a range of emotions. I truly ed enjoyed the entire series.

I loved reading all the books in this series. I loved the chemistry between Sky and Dylan. It had been awhile since I had read the other books in this series, I forgot how messed up Lily was. She tried to hurt Sky and their unborn child. Luckily Jem showed up when he did and basically saved Skys' life while Dylan was out of town.

I read this book through Kindle Unlimited. Its the third book in the story of Dylan and Sky, Amazon had this as the third book in the series but its actually the 6th so I read this out of order and you can tell to a degree. A lot of mentions of things in the other band members lives that happened in their books. Not sure if I will go back and read those or not.

This book dragged a little for me. Dylan and Sky work through a lot of issues in this book. Lily becomes a bigger problem for them and they suffer through a tragedy. Never quite understood how they didn't have the security all rock stars need especially with a crazy stalker. They welcome their first child and Sky suffers from postpartum depression. Dylan does his solo album and the band stays together. There is a nice epilogue that is set in the time of their 10 year anniversary of meeting at the cottage where they also have a 18 month old daughter. Very nice series.
