Who said love at first sight still doesn't exist? I'm sure Dewayne didn't believe that but when he first laid eyes on Shyasia, that all changed. Personal, life situations caused Dewayne to become a drug dealer but once he starts viewing his community and starts dealing with Shy, he wants more. With the help of Shyasia, he's able to make his dreams a reality as well as help others make theirs come true. As they are trying to build their relationship, they are both faced with trying situations from their pasts. Realizing that they both deserve to be happy and they both make each other happy, they ride out together. Take a journey on this love story and see how they both felt that they were just right for each other.
This book was awesome. I wish Pauline child wasn't Dewayne. I like the way Shy handled her. Their needs to be a book about Demari to let us know how her life is going? I was wishing her and Duke got together
This book was so good that it makes you want to believe in true love. The book was juicy from the first page. It was interesting. It had some drama, some set backs, some secrets, mental illness, just like real life!!! The book was awesome!!!
This was a really cute love story! I really didn’t think Shy would give Dewayne the time of day but their love grew quickly. A very good paced story with a beautiful ending.
I'm giving this read five stars because it is so very refreshing to come across an urban fiction with no infidelity, no backstabbing best friend, no molesting of a child, no murder of ten enemies, no man beating his woman senseless. Don't get me wrong....there's plenty of drama and unexpected events to more than hold your interest.
This is simply a beautiful love story. Thank you, Leondra LaRae, for something so rare, A FEEL GOOD STANDALONE.
This book was a 10 from start to finish. It was awesome, and then some. This is my favorite AUTHOR, because she always have me so wrapped into the book like the characters were my family. Loved the ending, because she ended it perfect, without having to wait for a part 2. Most of the time it takes so long for some authors to come out with the next part. I have to go back and try and remember what happened in the previous bopk. Again, excellent book. Please keep them coming. Don't stop writing, no breaks!!!!
Another Leondra classic that I could not put down. Shyasia and Dewayne's relationship started off by pure chance but grew into something beautiful. Even through all of the obstacles they were able to still depend on one another and continue in their love lives. Shyasia definitely made Dewayne want to do better and be better in life. I would love to hear about Demari and Zach a little more also about Sherree.
This was a decent read. I think a lot was left out. It was a quick read Shy and Dewayne met then next thing they have keys to each other houses. Even though things that happened in the past that involves family members the two refuses to let anything tarnish their relationship.
This was a good love story. I love Shy and and DeWayne relationship. I was happy to see Paulette did do some growing up. Another plus was that is was standalone.
I liked this book from the beginning to the end. I liked how Dewayne knew what he wanted and went for it. Shy was independent loving and on her grind which made them the cutest couple. I happy to see there was a message to the story....you have to read it to understand it.
Five stars because not only was this a standalone but the couple communicated. If something went down they told one another immediately. No long drawn out foolishness. So refreshing.
It was a very slow read. No back story. They hung out once and two weeks they were together. To much random stuff that had nothing to do with the story.
I really enjoyed the magical journey between Shy and Weezy. They went through issues with outside forces, but they overcame them. It truly was a happily ever after.
