You Could Be My Lover

Rate this book
An engaging standalone tale of love, race, and decision making that is full of drama and passion.
In a time where the infinite distractions of modern day life can cloud judgment, two young lovers from opposite walks of life embark on a journey with all odds stacked against them, and try to find love in the midst of a world full of chaos.
Shanaya
I spent my time focusing on money, not men. The lifestyle I led never inspired dreams of a husband, babies, or a perfect little white picket fence surrounding a suburban home. I had my secrets and I liked it that way, until I was forced to share them.
Justin
I never knew about the other type of life that existed. The lifestyle that wasn’t all about taking the safe route. I never thought it affected me, until it did. Love changes a man’s view of the world, and the things he would do for that love are limitless. A man doesn’t know who he truly is, until he is forced to make certain choices.
YOU COULD BE MY LOVER is a standalone novel not intended for the faint of heart. It is not the typical love story, and doesn’t leave readers with a clear view of right vs. wrong or good vs. bad. Characters are deep, modern, unpredictable, and real!

Really good

I really enjoyed this quick read. The storyline wasn't the typical so it intrigued me. I never would've thought things would turn out the way they did between shanaya and Justin.
