But then he picked me. I'm the new guitarist for his band—me, Lola the nobody, a rock star with fame and money. Everything is perfect. Nothing can ruin this. Until Drezden kisses me. This full novel with a happily ever after and NO cliffhangers was originally published as the Body Rock Series 1-4, but has been re-released in this updated format to better tell a fuller, richer story. There's also a sexy bonus story in the back about Brenda and her crush! ;) Who could it be? Read and find out!
A USA Today Bestselling Author, Nora Flite lives in Burbank, California where the weather is warm and she doesn't have to shovel snow—something she never grew to love in her tiny home-state of Rhode Island. All of her romances involve passionate, filthy, and slightly obsessive heroes.
Rock Me Deep is the sweet, sexy, suspenseful story of Drezden, an established rockstar, and Lola, the new guitarist who's been thrust into the limelight. The attraction, and chemistry between these 2 is palpable and I just really enjoyed them. They're both a little damaged from things that happened when they were younger, and I think that led to them sharing a deeper connection. As much as Lola tried to fight the attraction, there's just no way to deny Drezden...and honestly, why would she want to!
Wow! Finally the whole truth and nothing but the truth: Lola and Drezden! This book has everything: hot rock stars, jealousy, betrayal , revenge and lots of suspense. Drezden is a super-talented rock star with secrets so dark and dangerous that he's afraid of destroying Lola Cooper, his hot, new guitarist. Lola is fighting her attraction to the super sexy rocker but it's a losing battle. And then there's the question- why does Drezden hate Sean, Lola's brother, with such animosity? What happened in the past, between these two?
Drezden needs a new guitarist for his band Four and a Half Headstones. When quiet, shy Lola comes in he can't take his eyes off of her, but then he hears her play and he's done for. She is amazing, better than their last guitarist by far but will he be able to keep things professional between them? This is a great read and I highly recommend it.
I am a huge rock romance fan so when I had the chance to revisit a series that I had read a couple of years ago I jumped at it especially because I love this author. I have to say that it didn’t matter that I had read it previously because I was still drawn in to this book hook line and sinker and my previous 5 star review still has not changed.
It is about a hard driven rock star that has a past that he wants to stay hidden for some very good reasons. Being front man for Four and a Half Headstones is something that he worked hard for and put 110% in to. When his guitarist, Johnny Muse has been nothing but trouble by having to start shows later because Johnny can’t be torn away from some pre-concert groupie activity or showing up to shows unable to play worth a crap because of being drunk, Drez has finally had enough and literally kicks Johnny from the band. That would all be fine and good but it just so happens that they are in the middle of a tour with a couple day break before the next city they hit for another concert. With all of the other bands who open for them there has to be someone who can fill in this spot. It isn’t like Johnny was holding up his end of the group anyway.
Lola Cooper is playing grunt for her brother’s band and is scared to death when her brother Sean, tells her of the immediate opening in Drez’s band and has talked to Brenda who is Four and a Half Headstone’s manager, and has gotten her a spot to try out for the guitarist position. Sean knows that Lola is damn good guitarist and has a really good shot at making it. Once Lola gets herself together she knocks the tryouts out of the park. It was easy for her since she has been a huge fan of the band for years. As a matter of fact it is because of this band she was able to pull herself out of a pretty dark place in her life.
The connection between Lola and Drez is felt soul deep but they have to keep everything together so they can pull the rest of this tour off as perfect as Drez requires. The building up of these two is a great ride and you not only see the great physical connection they have but also the connection they have musically. These are two lost souls who have had to endure and conquer a lot to get to the position they are in.
The bonus for this series is about a wedding and Four and a Half Headstones’ manager, Brenda and a crush she has had on someone for quite some time. Brenda had never been able to act on this attraction and she wasn’t sure that this person would be so receptive to it anyway. She may be cool and in charge when it comes to managing this rock band but dealing with her own love life has taken a back seat for a long time. It’s been hard especially since there is someone who she has had her eye on. The inner dialogue Brenda has is hilarious. The connection between Brenda and this other person is a sweet, sexy, sweaty encounter at long last. A great way to end this series.
The story starts with lead singer and founder of the popular band Four and a Half Headstones, Drezden Halifax, firing his guitarist for his bad performance due to his “bad habits.” His rather public and violent attack on Johnny Muse was the way he let him know he was no longer with the band. He was justified in his mind, because not only wrong notes throughout the concert, he had dropped his guitar in the middle of the opening song. He had been messing up every song and Johnny had been a wreck for weeks.
With the band in the middle of a sold out tour, was not the best time to start looking for a new guitarist, and their manager Brenda Westlake, was not going to be pleased as she had dealt with a large number of problems on this tour already. There is no way she would take this news well! Chances of finding a talented guitarist on the road in the middle of a tour were not good.
Lola Cooper was following the same tour with her brother Sean Cooper's band Barbed Fire, which was the opening act to the headlining Four and a Half Headstones. Lola was helping assemble and disassemble the set for her brother's band, and wondered if her muscles would give out. The news about the fight last night had spread throughout the caravan of vehicles, but what her brother said she was not prepared for.
Sean told her about Drezden kicking Johnny out, and they're going to need a new guitarist real fast. He then dropped the bomb shell that he wanted her to try out. She though she wasn't good enough, but Sean said, “Lola, come on. You're the sister of the lead guitarist in Barbed Fire! I taught you everything you know.” So she got her chance to try out, and she figured this wasn't a world-wide announcement with applicants coming from all over to audition. They were in the middle of a tour with slim pickings, so maybe she had a chance.
It might have helped that her brother Sean had talked to the manager, but she did get in, and had a crush on Drezden since hearing him sing on his first CD. She knew all their songs, and could play them all. And when Drez said, “You're good. Colt, go tell Brenda to send everyone else away.” He was instantly attracted to the girl right from the start, but told himself not to get wrapped up in a new face just because it belongs to a skilled body. Lola fancied herself in love with Drez at first sound, but she too did not want to jeopardize this life time opportunity. Nether of them seemed able to keep to their self advise. “Welcome to Four and a Half Headstones.”
I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
After a blow out with one of his band mates, Drezden is in need of a new guitarist. Enter Lola. Lola gets talked into auditioning and blows Drezden away. She gets the gig. Simple huh? Well not so simple. Drez's band, Four and a Half Headstones, has been the band Lola has been obsessed with since its conception. Not only that, Drez has been her favorite too...his voice, his lyrics, helping her get through some pretty rough times in her life. After Drez sees Lola, he's having a little trouble with obsession also. To give in would be like playing with fire. Someone would definitely get burned. The band would suffer also. Nope, better to just keep it strictly business. Drez does a 180 and lets his new obsession take over. He pursues Lola relentlessly, but complications like her unwillingness and the band make for a difficult relationship. It looks as though Drez doesn't need help sabotaging it and either does Lola. Too many variables happening here.....the band, ex members, secrets, something more sinister. I LOVED THIS BOOK ! EXCITING AND WITH THE PERFECT AMOUNT OF SUSPENSE ! SEXUAL CHEMISTRY WAS UNMISTAKABLE ! I LOVED THE DREZ AND LOLA DYNAMIC ! THEY WERE SO GOOD TOGETHER ! THE SEX WAS OFF THE CHARTS HOT ! ! ! YOU NEED THIS BOOK....ONE-CLICK ASAP! ! !
Drezden's question: "What do you think is the most important thing you need to be a good guitarist?"
Lola's answer: "Honesty."
Lola auditions for Drezden's band in the midst of their tour. Never did she imagine she would be picked to join them! Lola knows every song, but something about Drezden distracts her, at times. The insane attraction between them is hard to deny. How long can they ignore it before it implodes? If they cave it could ruin them, their future and tear the band apart.
I loved the scenes in the book, they were well written and flowed well. I loved Lola's character and her drive to overcome her past and her fierceness to strive ahead. In Drezden, I see a tortured soul, somewhat similar to Lola and that he finds what he needs - but can he give what he must to keep her.
The key to finding what they both need? Honesty!
*I received an ARC of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.*
I was lucky enough to receive this book as an ARC for an honest review. I loved the Body Rock series the first time I read it and so coming back and reading this book as a whole was great. Drezden and Lola are so perfect for each other and I love the fact that even with Drezden being a rock star he didn't have the pretentious rock star attitude. He saw something in Lola right from the start and did everything he could to get what he wanted. And that was Lola. They both had issues to deal with when they were younger and that's what made their connection even more valuable. Even before these two met Drezden's music had played a big part in Lola's healing process. I could ramble on for ages about this book but I think the best thing would be to read it for yourself and get yourself some Drezden and Lola loving.
*I received this book in exchange of an honest review* Drezden and Lola.... The first reason why i fell in love with Nora Flite's books!!!!! But also one of the reasons why i keep falling in love with rockstar romances!!! Well written, with a passionate story, mysterious, flawed but utterly sexy characters, a great plot and lots of twists, "Rock Me Deep" is a wonderful book!! Dealing with notions like childhood abuse and trauma, music being a salvation, true love and the ugly side of fame, Drezden and Lola's story is just an amazing read!!! The talented writing style will engulf you from the first pages and allow you to feel every single emotion with the characters! Addictive, touching and sizzling, you won't be able to put it down!!!! Recommended to all psychological/rockstar romance lovers with a very big TWO THUMBS HIGH IN THE AIR!!!!
I am a huge fan of this book. Drezden is the sexy rockstar that Lola has had a crush on for years. When the opportunity arises, Lola finds herself playing guitar in his band. As soon as they spend time together they realize they are so attracted to each other. Is it worth taking a chance that could effect the band even if there are so many that don't want them together? What happens in this book was a story of instant chemistry, alpha rockstars and a storyline that I needed to see what was happening next. As a bonus at the end, we get to see who the band manager Brenda has been crushing on for years. I never saw it coming but it was a great conclusion.
For a honest review I was given ARC. Lola a 19yo traveling with a tour as a grunt gets the opportunity to audition with the lead band. Drez the lead singer has instant want in his blood. So what happens if they get together? Can the band survive, can they survive? They both have unspoken scars. Will the stars continue to shine bright or exploded and fall down. If you like ticket at books, I recommend.

OMG this book is so good Drezden is so intense I LOVED him. Lola has a very dark damaged past and uses her love of her guitar and Drezden's songs to heal. I don't want to give much away but I loved the plot to the story, I loved the lyrics to the songs I LOVED Drezden so very much. I really truly could not put this book down until I read it all. I highly highly recommend this book!!!
I enjoyed Drez & Lolas story. the H was the typical alpha possessive type and his presence alone affected Lola. She is the quiet girl in the background helping her brothers band on tour. She is given the chance of a lifetime to audition for the band as their lead guitarist. Unwanted sparks fly between the two.
I have always enjoyed a good rocker tour story and was glad to have read this one.
I was given a copy of rock me deep for an honest review.
I absolutely loved it!! What is it about musician that having you melting to mush even if they are intense & dark.
Drezden is the lead sing of four and a half headstones and they are looking for a new guitarist and in walks Lola and then it just rocks on from there.
It had the raw, gritty but intense feeling rock star books have and I was hooked that I can't wait to see where the next story goes.
Drezden is in a rock band unfortunately on tour he hits & sacks his drummer. Urgent to replace him Lola's brother convinces her to audition but does he have ulterior motives? Can 2 people with secrets make it work? I was given a copy of this book for my honest opinion & was hooked I would definitely recommend you read it.
I loved this book. The thing i liked about this book was there was really no back and forth with their feelings. It was a wonderful story. Congratulations Nora on a job well done. Steam factor 7. I received a free copy for an honest review.
Rock Me Deep has it all... suspense, a hot rock star, an attraction between the main characters that is white hot, a fast-paced story-line, interesting and intriguing characters, drama, and a HEA. This is a book you won't want to put down.
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. This book was amazing!! I'm usually not into rock star romances but this one has me changing my mind. I felt every emotion in the book. The bonus story at the end was a perfect ending tying everything together.
Wow. I loved this beautifully written story. The descriptions were on point. I loved how intense Dresden is. And how much he and Lola were into each other . I got an arc in exchange for a honest review
I love rock star stories with sexy singers and musicians. This one is exceptional with an intriguing suspense storyline. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the characters.
I definitely love a rockstar romance and this author wrote an amazing one. I was captivated right from the beginning to the end. The storyline is well written and characters well developed. I adored Drezden and Lola’s story. Their chemistry was on fire and their attraction undeniable. Two broken souls who find solace in one another. I loved the push and the pull between them. How they fight for one another melted my heart. The suspenseful moments had me on the edge of my seat. This is a beautiful love story that I highly recommend.
I met the author at Rare London and bought the book, because it intriguied me. I really loved it. I read it in a few days, really couldn't put it down, but work and children got in the way. Seriously, Drezden and Lola are amazing. They are both scarred and really talented. They had a shitty childhood that haunts them. But for true love, you have to be strong and face your own fears and get past your past. The book is amazing and I really loved the bonus epilogue. You really should read this book!
I am a sucker for rockstar romance, but I kinda missed I have this in my TBR list. So I stumbled on it and, what a pleasant surprise. Drez and Lola clicked. They were good for each other. Drez was really into her and all out to make it happen. He broadcasted it to the whole world. He was never unfaithful. No hard partying, drinking, drugs, groupies etc etc. The two of them will actually skip after parties for time alone.
There will be a but. After all Drez is a rockstar. The danger is from a jealous ex band member though. All the others were a non starter. Good story..
Rock Me Deep was a great book. Loved it from beginning to end. Hard to put down once I started reading it. Was really a good story with a message for anyone who reads this book. Excellent!!!
If you're a music lover and hopeless romantic, this is the book for you!! It's sexy, arousing, intriguing, fun, and so much more. You will not be disappointed!
I'm torn on this one. I thought the writing was good, but I never really connected to the characters. They fell in love too quickly...I didn't believe it/feel it.
